    Fantastic video! I did not have too many Parkside tools, but I have bought so many because of your videos and honest opinion. Parkside should pay you for promotion! But only honest promotion and keep the videos like this. And 11/10 Broke Life score for the test rig!

    Great review again thanks I’m to far down the rd to start buying 12v now as everything I’ve got is either performance 20v or Makita 18v but like the looks and weight of the 12v . Your test rig btw is worthy of a patent for sure love it 😂

    I have the 20v version. It is very loud and when I cut in wood I have to wiggle it around most of the ti,e in order to make cuts. I don't know if it is my fault or the mashine is underperforming.

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  Месяц назад

      I wouldn't say it is your fault. That is my experience with the green 20V as well. The B2 from OWIM is better than the newer C3 which I find rather tragic.

  • @katarinak-vi7xc
    @katarinak-vi7xc Месяц назад +3

    Ok lidl. We got it. We will now spend money on 12v tools. Until you again make 20v outperforming 12v then 12v will again outperform 20v. And then...
    Great vid and effort, to add.

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  Месяц назад

      Thank you! Yes, looks like that is their plan. They sell nice 12V stuff for a while, then 20V and so on. Need to make them profits don't they and we can't really help ourselves, but we can help them with their profit targets 😂

    • @zaxmaxlax
      @zaxmaxlax Месяц назад +1

      They will come up with 40v tools eventually thats where the industry is going. Bosch and Milwaukee are the only big brands insisting on 20v for power applications like big grinders and big circular saws.

    @aaronhyland800 Месяц назад +1

    I have been wanting the 20v multitool for a while but they don’t sell it in the UK. Would happily take yours off your hands if you don’t want it anymore 😉
    I agree with what you say about the membrane buttons. Always a failure point on their tools. I have the parkside leaf blower with membrane buttons and they are starting to crack

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  Месяц назад +1

      I think honestly the 20V will disappoint you more than you think. For just basic stuff it is fine, however its big size does not at all mean big power. You need to put in a lot of time and effort to get anything done with it. On top of that the new version of it, the C3 is even worse. I hope you get the Performance stuff too in the UK, because those are the good tools, I really am not a fan of the green Parkside stuff. On top of that as I showed the pre-release video to a friend I also had to let go of my 20V multitool in the video as he had just returned his 3rd C3 and really wanted the B2 from the video. So as I had no need for it anymore it also went off to pastures new. I also returned the Performance one from the video to its owner. In the end I have a video with 2 multitools, but in reality I also have none 😅

    The increased noise probably means it's better you should hear Makita i wouldn't go near one without ear protection even while not cutting. That being said Makita can cut through metal. I had to cut a metal tube 4x4 and about 2mm thick i got through it with AliExpress blades(surprisingly good blades for the price). Aluminium is way easier i had to do that as well recently. Metal cutting is not enjoyable with them but sometimes you have no choice.

    • @bogdan_d82
      @bogdan_d82 Месяц назад +3

      The brushless motor makes a lot of difference, it gives more power and takes longer to discharge the battery! It's a possibility that they changed the gears also, so they deliver more oscillations!

    • @dailydrama1853
      @dailydrama1853 Месяц назад +1

      @@bogdan_d82 What you say makes sense, but not in this case, since parkside states that on the 6th speed, both have 20k oscilations!

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  Месяц назад +2

      The oscillating angle is also slightly increased on the 12V version, compared with the 20V version. Also the 20V when pressed in to the cut will bog down, whereas the 12V, because of the brushless motor will hold its speed much better. 20K oscillations sounds good on paper, however that is without any real cutting resistance at the front of the blade.
