brother, please go back to the rode mic! DJI has interference and is picking up static for sureeeeee. Anyways, love the marker technique. Can't wait to see you rip this em1
So impressive and fun to watch you do that. I need to learn to do more on my car then the norm of oil changes and stuff like that. Thanks, devin, for your content
How did you figure out the torque specs on that assembly? The disassembly looked a lot more straight forward than than assembly. The time lapse made it go by in such a short time but it looked like there were a lot more steps involved. Looking forward to you taking this and a few other of your specialty cars to the strip and track now that the weather has cleared up.
8:15 I am almost positive when you put the top case on and then put the 5th gear back on something needs a tack weld or at minimum steak it so there is no movement. I remember the boiz rebuilding and that top huge nut backed off while racing and it tore up a lot of the gear sets
Can you put parts cleaner on there spray it of with a can on this application and then put fullsynthetic on them and put the casing together cause that smaller with compressed air wont have the power to clean it 5:37
2:20 I have learned the most important part of sequential transmission rebuild is to put a very small weld on the top of the gear sets, I can’t remember which one is the most important. The boostedboiz learned that lesson many many times, plzzz research it before reassembly. Just looking out for you my guy
watch Kyle from Boostedboiz videos on his rebuild of these transmissions for tips... as he has gone through a lot of teething issues with them and high horsepower k series
Devin is not making these videos for us to watch. He makes them for himself, to recall how he took things apart. 🤣
😆 🤣
Man I was thinking the same thing 😂

Rode constantly lost audio and fucked up the audio it didn’t lose. I haven’t noticed a huge difference other than it sounding more natural overall
The static / interference is pretty obvious whenever he isn’t talking
I would suggest he goes back to the sure mic he had before this one it was almost like asmr worthy.
Yeah a lot of static for sure
i’ve been saying this for a bit now. he needs to just put a cut on 12k hz and up
so awesome, as always....
everything looks so simple when YOU doing it 😀

Nice, your talent just keeps on coming on your mechanical abilities.great video as always.just keep on doing your thing.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Reminds me of a motorcycle transmission. Sweet!
Would highly recommend a ultrasonic cleaner so you can clean parts like that 👏🏻
Change the bearings. 🎉
For real bro!
Especially with that roller bearing.
I love this car, if you Ever want to sell it I WILL BUY IT. Evo's for life💯

It should be tack welded as the nut on that stack likes to come loose. Kyle lost a few transmission before he figured it put.
I spy Remi STI lol
you gotta give yourself more credit, your life is worth at least $16,500
Yeah those roll in real st engine builds and few other other groups theres another group that does that also have them pretty penny 1:08
bro that royalty-free music from 8-9min mark has this loud double beep, legit thought my house was on fire and the alarm was going off 🤣
Big fan from Kenya.... Watching 4 mins after posting
Naona tuko wengi huku😂😂
We must be seen 😂🙌🏾
Insane mod 🔥🔥🔥
Enjoyed..

That wire group tells when the transmission is ready to shift 2:06
Those top nuts on the stacks should be tack welded in place. They like to come lose
Evo X complete restore 🙂
It's so simple even a caveman can do it.
If you snt put honda bond real flat and you know what i mean cant blob it 8:10

The retaining nut tends to back off. He tack welds it
This dude does not need to watch how to vids on utube lol ...gifted mechanic....no doubt will pul this off
Brother 16k for a transmission? My dream car is worth 10k with 2yrs worth of insurance.
😂😂 they cost cost fr fr. That’s for the tranny alone too add the built transfer case and it’s like 22k all together
Put the sequential in the fk8 and make that car a h pattern
