It would have been great if we could see more story about Godzilla, like why like from where he got the sences of MeghaGodzilla. Or what he was doing after Godzilla KOTM.
Godzilla Dominion Graphic Novel will answer that question. And.....this graphic novel was in fact the strong focus of Godzilla. Like literally it is all about Godzilla and no human dialogue at all. Just him on his quest to bring balance and finding a new home.

If the directors can somehow get a story to work in these films and keep the cgi and monsters then they will be incredible films because even without a good plot it was still fun and I enjoyed every second of it

The next film should be focused on hollow earth and should fight another Toho villan like Biolante. End credits should show Godzilla and maybe an alien contact to set up for another Godzilla movie. Then "Destroy All Monsters" to have Godzilla and Kong team up this time to face Gigan, Ghidorah and MechaGodzillas successor. "Godzilla Final Wars 2" would be the be all end all in the Monsterverse.

Godzilla vs Kong is my favorite Monsterverse film. I'm not saying that at the expense of the other four films. For me, it's a tough race among all five to cross the finish line as the favorite and this one won by a nose. The moment when Kong and Godzilla join forces is the highlight of the entire series.

It was wonderful to get back to the cinema and to be able to see this film on a huge screen - it was a breathtaking experience. It featured the best CGI I think I have ever seen! My only negative comment would be regarding Godzilla's screen time - I was hoping that he would have as much as Kong, but ultimately it is a small criticism.
I don’t know why Monsterverse always changes its directors
Because it's easier for producers to be controlling over the production and keep everything streamlined

I've been team Kong since I was a kid and even I can see that Godzilla won fair and square. Lol

Are you sure he isn’t talking about the Second Round? Because Kong won that, Godzilla was on the ground for a good few minutes, which does count as a knockout victory even if it was brief.
Even though Godzilla won the fight as a whole, he still lost his Ego. He got taken to his Primal Instincts because of a Less than 200 Year old Titan who is inexperienced, so even if Kong had of died, he still would’ve won in that aspect. Kong took Godzilla out of the domain of the Gods, and Godzilla can never go back. A King made a God Bleed, and Gods don’t bleed.
You can scream at me that I’m a Kong fan and I’m delusional all you want, but that doesn’t change the fact that I am right. Adam Wingard confirmed it himself. Plus, I like Godzilla just as much as I like Kong, so you’d be wrong in the Kong fan aspect anyway.
And might I mention that: Ghidorah wasn’t able to Take Godzilla as far into his Instincts as Kong did, just for a little comparison.

LOLOLOL as a team Kong fan, I definitely would’ve loved to see a longer warbat fight. It was disappointing to see Kong get wrapped by one measly warbat and then need the humans to intervene with their guns. 😬😬😬😬

I would’ve been cool if in that scene, Kong just inhaled the warbat’s wing and bit a hole in it, allowing him to breath, and causing the warbat to loosen its suppression in pain, allowing Kong to do his part....

Amazing movie but it seamed as off king was lacking a little would have loved to see more aggression from him even if Godzilla killed him just my opinion
My opinion as well bro. He just got home and it got destroyed and he really never knew much about his past and moreover he could have had more potential.
If they have re-match, Kong will have experience from fighting Godzilla before and will reach greater potential

Godzilla used the atomic breath because it's his own power and the axe was an external weapon for kong if kong didn't have that axe the fight would have ended even fast

THE FILM WAS GARBAGE!!!! Amazing VFX.... shatty story, shatty acting, shatty score, just Adam Wingard's favorite Kaiju being a bully and getting cheered for it by other soy boy virgins. They only brought Kong in to get bragging rights back from Godzilla's 1962 loss, everyone knows it... FFS , the Japenese respected Kong more than Americans did! He's a terrible director who won't be known for anything other than this dumpster fire of a movie in the end.... bet your a$$ on that!
