How dare you work for a business that force's 10 year olds to work up to 2am without pay because their mom who is a night manager makes them!
I worked at a corporateMcDonald’s 1989-1995 and started at $3.25 per hour. Made it to shift manager then graduated college and pursued a career in law enforcement. About a year before I left they moved over to holding tray system which I thought brought the quality of food down slightly. I remember whisking eggs for the folded eggs and the biscuits used to be made from scratch. Times have changed. Enjoyed my time at McDonald’s and learned a lot about team work and retail food industry.

Breakfast burritos are one of the most underrated menu items at McDonalds. I especially like the picante sauce, which isn't too hot but adds a nice kick. The only problem is when they have been in the UHC for too long and the tortillas dry out. Would love to see a video of them being made, as others have said.

Idk, I cringed when I heard breakfast, BURRITO ? At McDonald's ? Hey I don't even like the idea of Taco Bell making breakfast burritos.

the stuff in the burrito comes in a bag frozen, as well as the tortillas. we have to slap em together ourselves.
Tortilla on the wrapper, break a cheese in half and put longways, then a even scoop of mix and evenly roll it up then wrap and add the sticker. 20 to a pan and microwave 22 then number of burritos cooked ex: 6 burritos is 226 and put in blue UHC tray and slide in the burrito slot and press timer
Love to hear the teamwork of folks offering to help out when you start working on something else, like the reg bun that needed toasted. The constant handing of empty trays to be replenished. A great crew can make all the difference. Act like a team, not competitors. Nicely done.
Big breakfast with hotcake is the best. It's super yummy 😋.

So jealous seeing the breakfast bagels there as they announced UK McDonalds will never get them back. >< Seeing you make them there really shows there's no reason we can't have the bagels or breakfast wraps back, they're clearly no more difficult than making a muffin.
The UK McDonalds have really become terrible recently, removed so much stuff and every new item they launch is just the same items they already had with an extra patty or sauce, no innovation at all.
I agree I rarely eat McDonald's as I don't find it exciting here but I enjoy these videos all the same.

What in the serious hell are people ordering for breakfast!?!? Bacon and cheese? Just the mcmuffin? Why even go to mcdonalds if you are ordering just an english muffin!!?? Just buy it from the store and make it at home for 10 times cheaper! It would literally be cheaper and faster to just put it in the toaster while you brush your teeth!

I worked at mcdonalds for over 1 month now, and they only had me take orders on drive through during lunch hours. On an 8 hour shift until 12, they wanted me to do a morning shift the next day at 7 in the morning so I only had a few hours of sleep after showering and eating. Doing a whole new menu for breakfast and it was stressful trying to figure out the terms or all items on the breakfast menu on drive through.
I always find these videos relaxing

I remember working at a McDonald's in 89 before they even had the clam shell grill. I literally did flip the burgers. The changes to the kitchen from that time are insane.
The breakfast bagel sandwiches are incredible, but I never have been able to find out what the sauce they put on the bagel is. It makes the already awesome sandwich even better.
They just call it breakfast sauce you can add it to any sandwich you want. It's kinda like a holldianse sauce.

It's a pre-made mix of eggs sausage and peppers. Place tortilla down, slice of cheese, and some of the mix. And just fold it up into a burrito and wrap.

Depends. This guys McDonald’s seems to be a well oiled machine, but I’ve been to plenty where the kids working there only have a two dollar an hour work ethic.

I worked at McD UK in the early 1990's - apart from the fryer everything looks alien to me! Everything was cooked to order on the breakfast shift... But Saturday lunchtime was something else, doing 12/6 bun lays or pull lays banging out 6 Big Macs every minute. How times have changed
I always love watching your videos. It's amazing because of how fast you work with the organized work station. You almost can work blindly because you know where everything is. That's important for working fast without going crazy.

When ever I go hit McDonald's for breakfast, I always get 2 bacon Eggers, a hash brown and a small coffee, starts the day off right! Nice job there, 👍
One of the best biscuit and sausage sandwiches I have had was at one of the DFW airport McDonald's first thing when they opened. I use the app in airports because I can use points to get free food with how expensive it is in the airport.

When I worked at McDonald’s in the 1980’s we called sausage McMuffin no egg “orphans” I always thought that was funny. I worked breakfast window and lunch. I’d have to run to the basement for supplies for lunch. I think the black regular coffee was $0.53 because I’d be in the basement and run back up to ring it in and serve. Somehow if it was coffee only order I just knew the price. The headsets back then were weak! Our store was understaffed.

I just went to McDonald's to get a breakfast sandwich...I was so sick to stomach yesterday I got to drive thru and totally fumbled over all my words....they put sausage on my bacon egg and cheese biscuit...was actually pretty decent.

Man i wish the UK still had big breakfast. It was basically the same as yours but with a muffin instead of the biscuit or hot cake, whichever it is.. I always enjoyed the egg, but you can't get that egg in mcd's here any more. think its basically just round ones now. i think maybe the breakfast wraps have something different but i miss the big breakfast.

While I was impressed with the speed and efficiency, I was disappointed with the cross contamination with egg allergens. It seems like the warming cabinets are already divided by meat vs egg, and you even have left and right tongs. It would only take a small adjustment to ensure you aren't contaminating non-egg sandwiches with the bits of egg left on your tongs. Customers with egg allergies may order things like sausage and cheese sandwiches, since the nutrition facts don't include egg allergens.
