While there were some similar elements (namely the breakdown and the parts of the chorus) I felt like this song was very different from Demolisher. The riffs had less of a black metal inspired feel and more groove/nu metal influence this time around. Same with the vocals in the chorus too, Alex working cleans into that chorus made it super unique for them and the overall vibe was creepy but really cool, and you can definitely hear the Iowa era slipknot influence in that bit. For this song at least, it felt like the rhythym was always changing despite keeping the same vibe where as with demolisher it was basically the same pace the whole time with a little bit of variation. Idk it just feels like this song has more variety to it than you give it credit for.
Baba Yaga is a character of Slavic mythology and folklore of Slavic peoples. An ugly old woman who owns magical objects and is endowed with magical power. In a number of fairy tales, she is likened to a witch, a sorceress. Most often - a negative character, but sometimes acts as an assistant to the hero.
I enjoy the simple things in life, like Russians being overly Russian in the music video and making generic face punching deathcore. Frick yeah! Just realised at 2:51 chain is sneakily looking at stream deck to think if he should add a funny maymay to the breakdown and then probably be like "no this will be on yt I must show constraint." Haha
@@PenguinzFTW yes but i really dislike the nu(?) influences, just because something is similar to other bands (which i dont think was the case in the first place, StP always sounded unique to me) doesnt mean they sound bad or "generic"
I completely agree with the formula being the same. It's good but when you go from agony which is all over the place to demolisher and then this is its a bit like well that sucks. Really good song but yeah the formula thing is a bit meh
@@Chainbrain Just about the whole the 2 songs sound similar that’s it. Also off topic but your Guitar Playing is really good I checked out a few songs that I would enjoy and it’s pretty good anyways have a good one.

only similar thing is no instruments on breakdown and heavy intro, everything else is completely different
Same melody in the chorus.

Ого русский металл, неплохо.
Мне показалось или он струн вообще не касается)
Hearing Slaughter to Prevail after Darko US makes me feel like I'm listening to Mercyful Fate.
Вау, благодаря тебе,я узнал о существовании такой классной российской группы)
Спасибо!)
Да,классная группа :D
А баба яга то реально костяная нога
I prefer their older songs like Hell and As the Vultures circle
They're going in a really good direction in terms of their sound. They no longer sound like a typical cookie cutter deathcore band and I love it🤘
