I first heard the unplugged version, from the Timeless Sentence album. I thought that was the original. And when I wanted to show it to others, I was pussled, that I only found the hardcore metal version. As a metalhead I liked it, and now i cannot decide which version I like better. Epic.
Yeah, it's still Freddy singing. I'm very impressed with the guy. Jesse, the guitar player, does some backing vocals sometimes, if I'm correct, so that might explain the sound too.
