What a great video! We have both sat here in NZ tonight and watched that and loved it - so enjoyed it! Well done Helen. Love your style of storytelling - and of course so very darn cool to see Kenny looking fine too! ❤️
Well done again Helen…interesting to see how you’ve found what works best for you, and I’m sure others watching. I really enjoyed the extra, hidden, bonus feature .. which was, of course, “always wear a clothes peg”.
I think for laundry, especially during winter in the colder parts of Europe, I'd do a part of it in a laundry: the bedsheets, the towels, jeans that take ages to dry... and the easier stuff in the RV. It must be exhausting, how you do laundry 🙂And yeah, I know it's expensive but some comfort is well worth some money. Switch off the Starlink and other important things: it's amazing how much you can forget, isn't it. Closing all drawers and cupboards, putting everything away in the bathroom, close all windows and hatches, just to name a few things :-) There's much much more! 😀
You are so right!! Its so funny when you drive away and you realise what you havent packed up yet! You know I did just do sheets and towels in the laundromat, and promptly spilt red wine on them and had to do it all again, including on my lovely favourite white cable knit woolen jumper. Still trying to get that dry again. aarrrgh.
And washing - I was thinking to wash smalls daily but it doesn’t happen. it’s more I fill the machine when I top up water so I know I have enough water for everything.
Dieu merci. C'était si agréable de te rencontrer. J'ai hâte d'entendre parler de tes voyages.

Kenny is brilliant!
Great tips!! Especially for those starting out or thinking of getting into Van Life. And LOL at the peg!!
@@nigelandsueadventures hahaha yes, the peg was actually to remind me to turn the starlink off!!!

Hahaha. I wondered if anyone would notice!!! It’s actually a reminder that I need to turn the starlink off!!!!

PS: second time I write laundry, that should've been Laundromat or something like that.

This is fascinating. Loved the peg! Was curious how often you wash; empty toilet etc. weekly? Daily? So interesting
@@felicitywaterford7209 the peg was to remind me to turn the starlink off before it flattened my battery.

Hope you're having a good festive season!!xx
@@CostanzaKid omg having a lovely time. How are you doing?
@@helenwheels4444 Been working and ill, not so lovely time, haha. When you back in Scotland?
I was wondering what the story was with the peg too!
Maybe I should have added another tip! Use a peg to remind you to turn the starlink off, or other important things.
