You guys are the kings of understatements! DAMN!!! I’m literally drooling and I’m not even a pilot yet. My heart is THUMPING! God!! Amazing! Amazing!! What did it cost?? Six packs now look repulsive 🤮 🤮
Calum and Advanced Aviation did my panel upgrade. They did an amazing job. Flying the Dynon Skyview HDX has been a game changer for me. Worth every dollar. I saw your Bonanza when I picked up my Flight Design a couple of months ago, the paint job was amazing. Congratulations, you guys are going to love it.
Former Bonanza owner here, that panel is awesome! It makes for safe and efficient flying. CONGRATS! But it's not as fun as unfolding a sectional and plotting radial intersections. 😀
I did a discovery flight out of that hanger, got to see it first hand. I was amazed on the quality of the paint, and the whole interior. Congratulations guys! It's a beautiful bird
Inspiring! Beyond the upgrade your enthusiasm and genuine thrill of sharing this is infectious. For those who mention cost I'll say they have likely spent more on less. My heartfelt congratulations!!
Nice F33A, I am from Brazil and also I have a Bonanza F33A here and We use here to calibrate the suspension putting more air in the mains landing gear, the plane became more confortable for we enter and leave the interior, congratulations
I'm happy you all bring these fine Bonanza's back to life , I started with Tripacer, it had its purpose but I was young and wanted Speed I found a 1950 B model in back of a hanger in pieces and it was missing wings control surfaces that in 70 I just got back in country took 3 1/2 years got my A&P building it, unfortunately I wanted more speed!!! I found another project 1976 V35TC-A that in 1980 still have it love my Vtails , I'd love to have your panel I'd live in it, I hope you all put 100 hours on it in a week AT NIGHT!!! it should be loss of words Great job guys WOW
Wow, you have the best Bonanza in the sky!! Everybody talks Garmin Garmin Garmin. Avidyne has way better features and situational awareness. Congratulations guys. The plane is just AWESOME!!!
Been at Beechcraft/Textron for 27 years. Love the Bonanza! You’ve done great things to the F33! I did accident investigation for years at Beechcraft. Before you do a Tornado Alley conversion, do your research. Just keep in mind, those engines are only built to be normally aspirated, not boosted.
My word, what a dream come true right there. Avionics are absolutely NO PLACE to skimp out on.. It's SO worth it to go all out. 12 out of 10 all day here.. Wonderful to have that now, you guys are going to absolutely LOVE this setup, how nice it is to have that.. Wow.. I'm super impressed with that system and we're probably just scratching the surface of what this is capable of!! Great video!
THIS is the JR flagship-- Well Done! I'm sure the plane got excellent maintenance when it was a busy trainer; just be sure your landing gear motor and linkages are in top condition. It's a simple and reliable system, but it does need to be properly maintained. It's not as glamorous as P/I and avionics, but your entire investment literally "stands" on it!
I'm very very stoked to see this extraordinary all glass pannel!!! Jeff, Christian, and Owen I can't wait to see you all in person! I have an incredibly huge passion for aviation!! This plane looks truly spectacular, extraordinary, astonishing, beautiful, lovely, incredible, awesome, legendary, and stunning. I most definitely would like you all to be a part of modifying, designing, and making the aircraft look amazing.
OMG that's so exciting. As a 50 something who didn't pursue aviation beyond a checkout in a complex due to "life", I've been an avid reader of aopa mag and kitplanes over decades. You guys are truly living the dream. I didnt realize avidyne was so advanced, given that garmin has been the defacto. My eyes are opened. Subscribed. Good luck w the channel.
A lot of people give you guys crap for not even having your licenses yet and I can agree to a point. It’s a lot of money for not even being a pilot BUT you guys are passionate as hell and making good investments/content. Keep it up. I’m excited for the future.
My wife was right: Don't sell the plane. But, alas, with the post 911 issues and insurance not really loving older airplanes (Beech G35, 1956) and older pilots (70 back then) and not flying more than 50 hours/year it was time. But we excelled at using the steam gauges (no autopilot) and BDS tip tank upgrade (90 gal fuel, 7 hours with reserve, 1,200 mile range). Flew most everywhere west of Pacific time zone. Loved flying AngelFlight. Oh well... now I fly vicariously. Thanks for the rides.
I put 4 of CIES senders in my RV10, one of the top mods I did. Talking to the engineers are CIES the accuracy is actually 1/100th of a gallon, much more accurate than the number shown and more than the pixels on the screen can show.
Dunno if you guys are fans of sushi, but one of the things I miss the most about Reno was the affordable all-you-can-eat sushi lunch! Not sure what they are charging these days, but my cousin was also a GA pilot and we took a trip up there one day for sushi. It’s well worth checking out if you like sushi!
I'm such an odd duck. I geek out on all kinds of tech...except in a cockpit. At 68 yrs old I just like it old school. Steam gauges. VOR, DME and RDF. There are so many people upgrading to glass I was able to stuff my kit-built plane with top of the line 1960s tech for $260.00 . My favorite thing is to request flight following and request "ride the Whiskey Lima Sierra beam into Chicago. I've had more than one controller have to ask me what that means. I have even used AM radio stations and a chart to back up "seat of the pants" navigation. I really enjoy the challenge of finding tiny mountain grass strips with a chart, E6B, and a stop watch. Thats how I get my kicks, flying around like my grandpa did it. back in that day they put physical structures on the ground like giant concrete arrows and such. They painted ads on the roofs of barns that you could follow between large towns. You want to have a fun week. Buy a STOL and go find those old route markers. many are on public land so you can land nearby and go exploring. STOL can get you into places you can't even get to on a mule!
Hey guys are you going to be going to OSH in this? I will be flying my Turbo Arrow III from DVT to OSH and will probably be leaving on Saturday the 22nd. Might be fun to do a loose formation flight to there if you're interested :-) Love the F33 she is a sweet machine!
Hello aviators from Sydney Australia. The Bonanza is magnificent, both inside and out: hands down. Looking forward to seeing the images of the PFDs and their features. "Slippery pistons until the end my friends"🌏🇭🇲
JR Guys, There is nothing wrong with a six pack, There is less stuff to confuse the pilot and much less buttonology. I fly a six pack V35B with a KN-170B and 175B, a JPI 830 and a GTX345, plus IFly. My head is out of the cockpit most of the time and I fly two-three point five hour legs, all had flown.
A little late to the party here but in my opinion (A&P in 1982) the best safety improvement with this avionics upgrade is you got rid of the POS vacuum system which has killed many pilots when it failed!
Well done guys, I like the job you’ve done on this Aircraft. Airline Capt here from Italy…I will be asking for recommendations soon to where to go for my own toy soon..RGDS
Beautiful panel. is the audio panel and headsets stereo? Com 1 left side, Com2 Right side? Plus is the traffic warning in 3d audio? I enjoy your videos. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing you and your brother actually flying these planes.
Back 18 months ago I tried to get Dynon installed in my Arrow. I was told over and over Dynon is shit. Now I have Garmin G5’s and 275’s with 355 GPS/COM. I wish I had the Dynon but still to this day I am told Dynon sucks. They need to stop the negative image, I was robbed, I wish I had Dynon, listened to my gut. NICE SETUP YOU DID GOOD.
Calum and his team knocked this one out of the park. Nice work everyone, been having a blast flying out new and improved Bonanza!
Advanced Aviation Reno is a great partner of Avidyne!
You guys are the kings of understatements! DAMN!!! I’m literally drooling and I’m not even a pilot yet. My heart is THUMPING! God!! Amazing! Amazing!! What did it cost?? Six packs now look repulsive 🤮 🤮
All that you need now is turbo normalizing and Osborn tip tanks. It's first-class guys, congratulations.
Congrats guys, that plane looks like a million bucks now. Hold on to it and enjoy it❤

Great looking plane. I thought Dynon was only for experimental. Learn something new every day.
Dynon is an awesome product. Love your panel and the entire plane. Nice job!
Also, if you ever want a tour of Beech production, let me know. We can make it happen
Looks so great. Can't wait to see it fly!
That's some stunning work by Advanced Aviation Reno... Bravo!
Indeed it is!

That’s one way to put it!
i LOVE the dynon HDXs.. we have them in our school planes and they're so much easier to use than anything else
Very Well Done Gentlemen!
Amazing video. Say, do you have any dream planes you wish to own one day? Maybe a PC-12 or some smaller jet other than the Citation you have now?
Hey guys are you going to be going to OSH in this? I will be flying my Turbo Arrow III from DVT to OSH and will probably be leaving on Saturday the 22nd. Might be fun to do a loose formation flight to there if you're interested :-) Love the F33 she is a sweet machine!

It's refreshing to see a panel upgrade that's not crammed full of Garmin stuff -- congratulations and safe flying!
Very sick!
