    The narration was not as well received as I expected. I was very happy to be able to easily narrate my video. But this is not the best way. I'm even thinking about making silent ASMR videos or using human narration. But looking at the running videos on RUclips, the silent video performs better.
    But the video brought one great thing. My first Patreon support! :) THX
    @strAwrlD !!!! You are cool! I will also upload content for him! :) Follow his example! :)

      Your original pool video was appealing for many reasons. I think one is your honest, self-made narration. Why doubt yourself? People like to see real things and feel community. I think you overcame the RUclips algorithms by being yourself, you were not created by RUclips. Just my opinion, thanks for the inspiration is what in possible in making things. The English in the other video was good, but I understand that may not be easy to capture again.

      i prefer when you talk, more authentic that way. you hear the text to speach everywhere and it's uncanny

    Hey man, nice to see the continuation of the pool project. I really enjoyed the first video and I gotta say I enjoyed it more because of the natural sounds of your yard and the work you are doing. This AI voiceover stuff is not great. Perhaps a solution is to simply put subtitles and leave the natural sounds on, that way you can have best of both worlds

      I second this. I’d take inspiration from someone like Primitive Technology, who just uses captions to describe what he’s doing.
      That or let us hear your “terrible accent” occasionally. I’m friends with people from all across Europe and without fail they say “My English is terrible” with better annunciation than half of the english speaking world.

      I third this. Where is your voice. The voice you used i thought in the first video was yours. What a let down to know it was not. Anyway I like the other voice better.

    If you plan on doing RUclips regularly you should definitely try doing voiceovers yourself, you'll get better pronunciation soon enough I'm sure

      That's the situation, I'm ashamed, but I don't know English. I understand 80% of what I hear, but I can't form sentences and say even simple things on my own. I've been messing around with Duolingo for a while now. The narration took about 2 days before I realized that I couldn't produce anything worthwhile. One part of this year's plan is that I have to make at least one video with my own voice narration by the end of the year. Although it seems like a simple task, it really isn't for me. I have no sense of speech and languages. Using my own language is also often problematic. However, I learn. The pronunciation of the Hungarian language is completely different from English, and reading a pre-learned text aloud is also problematic.

      I rather hear a thick natural accent than this AI generated stuff as it sounds so fake and not natural at all. The content will speak for itself. And we’re already here, man! 😊

    There's no mesh reinforcement to stop it cracking

    • @kundaniel
      @kundaniel  Месяц назад +1

      We'll see in a few years. :) There was a sidewalk that I made in 2014 that was 2 m wide and 8 10 cm thick. People go there on a daily basis. It rains in winter and freezes. And it didn't crack. If it cracks, it's not that big of a problem. It will definitely move. But it won't be the end of the world if it cracks. However, the price would be double with an iron mesh.

    maybe add an outdoor shower to rinse off before/after pool to get chlorine off and make sure people are somewhat clean before getting in?

    Your Hungarian English was wonderful with its charisma. You shouldn't have used someone else's voice. Why did you use concrete around the pool? A wooden deck would be nicer and cozier.
