Funnily enough, I first saw Steven Edginton making hour long discussions for The Sun, and was extremely surprised to see these types of conversations coming from there. Been following some of his work since, especially loved the JP interview with The Telegraph.
Having served in the RAF for 24 years, and witnessing the outrageous positive discrimination, ( I left 18 years ago), it was getting so bad even if I could have served longer, I wouldn't have. I left and feel more of a racist than I was when I joined up. Obviously I'm a white British male, so racist anyway.
I am racist too, I believe God created different tribes for different lands and never intended on mixing different tribes from different parts of the world. Otherwise the world would have been created that way in the first place. The idea that racism, or belief in your tribe is a bad thing - is something the empire and its money worshippers propagate. It is not a Biblical opinion thus has no basis with the truth. Love your enemy,. but be true - the foreigner should go home. Have a holiday is one thing, but moving into a foreigners military - is only done for money worship and deception.
"WE NEED DIVERSITY!" Point to even a single institution where your ideas gained traction that DIDN'T immediately suffer as a result. "YOU NEED TO CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE!" Here's my poor rural immigrant genealogy. It's potato famine and subsistence farming on one side, and fur trapping in the woods on the other. "YOU NEED TO STOP USING MICROAGGRESSIONS!" The longer you speak? The more I realize you're right. I should be much more explicit.
My Mother worked at a coffee shop for near minimum wage and caught a bus to work over an hour a day each way. My Dad worked as a bowling green keeper for what was even back then, barely a living salary - and he spent most of that on booze and was often unemployed due to being sacked for his drunkeness. We wore hand-me down clothing from our cousins, lived in drafty, leaky old houses, and if it wasn't for my mother, some weeks we'd not have had enough to eat. For a lot of my childhood we lived in non-white neighborhoods where as a white kid, I was bullied and abused constantly. Both my sister and I have managed to claw our way out of our poor background to the middle class. Guess that's not due to hard work, but all that privilege we had growing up right?
Yes and those of us that watched those interviews a number of yrs ago were called conspiracy theorists we are not because its all true. World wide Marxism leading to a one world govt.
I 'dun' my 22 and been out 10 years but still have plenty mates who are in and we talk about it. It scares the crap out of me how awful it is. I'm not going to amplify.
I was working for a large television company a few years ago in the UK, and I was partly hired on the basis of being from a ‘diverse background’, or so I understood. After my contract ended, my manager was keen to keep me on for another project. After my department manager vouched for me, senior management told me it was not in my best interest to be part of the next project. I later heard from colleagues that they intended to hire someone who was from a ‘more diverse background’.
All our institutions are the same. The Universities are cutting back on subject areas, yet ring fence all this stuff as a priority for 2030 policies. Go figure.
If I repeated my chosen education path, this would happen to me I'm sure. I got Arts Council funding to do a Masters at Cambridge (fast track PhD entry, basically). I got in mostly cause I'm damn good at what I do/did ;P ..... but there's definitely some degree of quota bullshit at work here because I'm a lower middle class woman from a Yorkshire state school. If I applied again today, with even better exam/degree results (which I'd be likely to have cause well.... standards are way lower now than in those days ;oD) I have no doubt I wouldn't get the scholarship, and so wouldn't be able to do the course. Because I'm 'not diverse enough' i.e. I'm WHITE.
Followed Steven since the days for The Sun, the only content of theirs I've seen for 30 years. He did well and deserves the progress hes made and making. Good on you lad. Excellent work again. Bravo!
I can see a satirical sketch showing UK soldiers of diverse backgrounds celebrating their unity and appreciating their ability to be together … moments before being effortlessly overpowered by the enemy
That's the funny bit. The saturation point has already been reached, and the only people who don't know this stuff yet are the ones who watch Cable News. And those people cannot be helped.
I'm not a Christian, but I completely oppose any suggestion that the British government should be required to make _any_ of its activities non-religious. America is _not_ a Christian nation, quite on purpose. But the UK is literally a theocracy. The head of state is God, who has anointed the King to rule, and parliament serves at the pleasure of the King. The UK _is_ a Christian *kingdom.*
My Dad was a 22 year career soldier in the Intelligence Corps. Thank God he died in 2019 before The Long March Through The Institutions broke out in earnest. He told me nearly 50 years ago that this moment was coming. He would have told me earlier had I been a bit older.
@@immortaltyger1569 Yes. In the 60s and early 70s, we lived as a military family in Germany. In essence, the "Long March" was just one of many threats monitored by the military at that time. Like so many societal threats, those who talked about it were dismissed as nutters. Now, of course, the enemy acts openly and brazenly. Always ask who benefits from besmirching someone who questions the narrative. There are quite a few articles about The Long March on the Internet now which I can't reproduce here but, in essence, The “Long March through the Institutions” was a phrase attributed to the Italian communist Antonio Gramsci (1891-1937) and then coined as a succinct mission statement by Marxist student activist Rudi Dutschke in the 1960s.

About Polish people. Many of us got to UK with high hopes, started their own businesses and were looking into a future with a smile. Of course not every Polish is like that. We don't complain mostly, just get through obstacles day by day. Last few years shattered that view. When you speak with natives most are ignorant or just don't care. Health care is one of the worst BTW, when I was leaving Poland 15 years ago few doctors warned me about it. Didn't believe it, sadly my daughter experienced the most incompetent and careless behaviour.
Or they feel they can't speak up because we are called racist . People have jobs and families to keep, I would say like you said just don't want to know how screwed we are .
When you guys started coming over here, the exchange rate was £1 to 6 Zolattas. Then it went much lower. I read an interview with a Polish women, at the time, who said that , the UK was a great place to visit. To travel or to learn English. But that living here was a no go.

I left the army in 2006, the idea of anybody being ‘offended’ in the army is hilarious. Part of the camaraderie is or was being able to rip on your mates with insults so close to the bone others wouldn’t understand. But under the insults and the banter was a deep brother hood, I will die for you and you will die for me. The unspoken mutual agreement. When I looked left or right on the battlefield I didn’t care what colour, religion, or anything other that the person next to me was, that was my brother and we fought together.
The real question is not "why this is happening in our military", but "why is this happening in ALL industries, in ALL the western countries, at exactly the SAME time?" Do you really believe that's a coincidence?
Thank god i done my 24 year service and left 2 year ago … the army has changed 100 fold over the past 12 years and not one way for the positive. Love the army but so glad that i am done !!!
This stuff keeps me up at night. If the decline in our birthrate wasn’t enough, the added misery of hundreds of thousands of migrants and then the trans, woke, lgtbfqzy and BLM nonsense has made me genuinely question if my country that I was raised in is doomed to become a steaming mess of Middle Eastern mixed salad with a sprinkling of English on the top. Because living in London, as I have my entire life, that’s how it feels and looks right now

If ever there were institutions that I wanted to be ruthlessly meritocratic, they're the various armed forces. It's appauling that DEI has infected it.
The army has never been a meritocracy. Posh people are officers and state school kids are squaddies. It was based on class when I was in it 10 years ago. My mates still in tell me now that more squaddies are becoming officers

As a post-grad medic specialising in the U.K. in the 2000’s, my generation were told to step aside for the non-indigenous minorities. As a parent in NZ my son’s generation is being told to step aside for the indigenous minority. I’m beginning to think it might not be a problem with me or my kind.
I did my basic training at Deepcut and then served in admin company. This was back when female soldiers were all in the WRAC or QARANC. The biggest scandal during my time was girl on girl. Female junior NCOs befriending young females straight out of recruit training and on trade courses. They would then persuade or bully them into gay relationship's and then they were handed up the chain to gay female officers. This was covered up because the army wouldn't accept officers could be gay. Throughout my service being gay was illegal. Men who were found to be gay usually got beaten up and sent to MCTC Colchester before discharge. Females were ignored unless they were openly gay in public. As for Remembrance services, we were never forced to go into Church. Those who weren't Christian would parade outside the church during the service.
@@tdeo2141 It absolutely happened. I was in a mixed Signals unit and our females were bullied mercilessly at Guildford. I later ended up running an ex WRAC unit that had been taken over by Serco but still employed the same females. The worst bullying I ever saw was by lesbian NCOs grooming newly posted girls straight out of training. In 15 years of military service I only saw 1 blatant example of male bullying, and we ostracised the Sgt who did it. He was a first class tosser and still is. By comparison, it was widespread in the WRAC and almost always sexual grooming. One of my recruits was sent to Guildford and turned her smg on herself and the bullying instructor. Both survived, which says plenty about the smg!
@bruceknights8330 Yep, same here. For every case of male-female bullying I came across a dozen or more female-female. HQUKLF at Wilton was bad, SIB came in and another cover up. Big one at QEMH Woolwich involving the Female Personnrl Officer and JNCO's getting their paws on student nurses. A male major brought it to light and it was investigated. Nothing happened of course but 11 years later I met him in Lisburn at HQNI. He'd been posted from Woolwich and kept in N.I and no promotion. The QARANC senior officers made sure he paid for uncovering their gay sex ring.
Do agree, ignorance is a bliss but 8f we are ignorant they win so, I prefer to learn and fight. I may not win but gosh I would have tried 😉. Best regards
For years Britain has played down Patriotism and Nationalism, but we have much to be proud of, and those things are part of British Culture, if they are having a hard time recruiting it's because they have played down Nationalism who do they think is going to want to fight for a country that is persecuting Patriotism on our streets in favour of people who came here illegally in many cases in the first place. Patriotism is not a hate crime.
The Home Office (as Steve Knows) have a Muslim Employee Network. Muslim employees are being promoted at an alarming rate and speed regardless of their abilities or proficiency. It is replicated throughout the Home Offices departments, the police, the immigration service, the Visa issuing office. It is absolutely astounding and they aren’t promoting one or two grades but they are jumping 4 or 5 grades It is called ‘social mobility’ and is a smokescreen for pushing ethnic minorities into very well paid roles regardless of their competency The police pioneered this as they pioneer so many aspects of social engineering So now the military are going down this route. Unfortunately the meritocracy that once was a hallmark of a highly functioning society is being eroded. From soldiers to pilots and also in the medical and education systems We are going to see less and less white men in positions of authority. Most police briefings are now conducted by women in the main, but it will permeate to more working class jobs. We are seeing this in headlines about lack of representation in train driving I genuinely think society is being changed and it will become harder for working class white men to get a reasonable job anymore in any public sector organisation
Someone is taking the piss out of Britain, big time, but they are getting away with it, and whose fault is that. You men have to stand up and be counted.

As far as Israel is concerned, as the front line troops how they feel about it. You might find that 10% or 20% of women are fully capable of fullfilling front line roles and the remainder are just as capable of fulfilling support roles. As for men, not all of us are fit for front roles either. This gender Bullshit has to stop.
Thank you for sharing this with us. It's not just concerning; it also raises the question of whether some individuals actually desire the downfall of their own nation.
They do. Mediocre people who can't be successful in a meritocratic competition want to change the balance of power to advantage themselves. And universities have taught them to hate Britain. That's socialists for you.
Get Alek Yerbury an actual ex military man on, he can tell you everything you need to know about the politics within the army. He resigned & told them everything they need to hear in his discharge meeting as opposed to the gentleman handshake 99% give just to get out of there. He’s an interesting guy and if you really are the alternative media you won’t bother judging him on the daily mirror headlines… If you do, then you’re just like the rest of the mainstream then aren’t you.

All this from the McKinsey study, that turned out to be flawed, on the fact 😮diverse companys were the top 25% of best performing companies, these were the most successful companies well before the diversity implementation,so had the billions behind them that them pretty bomb proof when it came to keeping that success.
As an American, unarmed police officers have always appeared as a bit of an oddity, but I can understand the assumption that, if the number of armed criminals in your society is low enough, a simple baton or taser would be enough of a physical advantage in most situations. However, that assumption only holds true for relatively in-shape men of at least average stature, and I utterly fail to comprehend why any woman would ever sign up to be an unarmed police officer.
To be honest, I stopped watching anything about this issue about a year ago - once I gained a good grasp of the ideology now its just a question of how far it advances. All I needed to know was the army are following suit, there's nothing more to say and, in my mind, not worth getting outraged about, just do what you can with who you meet, if the topic comes up, to let them know you aren't in agreement and find something better to think about I say.

I left in ‘96, as it was not the RAF I joined in ‘69.
@@tim-williams Well humans have invented around 50,000 gods so there may be a god tribe as well.
If they are going to treat you as a villain no matter what you do then you might as well be a Super Villain! No incentive not to go full tilt.

"WE NEED DIVERSITY!"
Point to even a single institution where your ideas gained traction that DIDN'T immediately suffer as a result.
"YOU NEED TO CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE!"
Here's my poor rural immigrant genealogy. It's potato famine and subsistence farming on one side, and fur trapping in the woods on the other.
"YOU NEED TO STOP USING MICROAGGRESSIONS!"
The longer you speak? The more I realize you're right. I should be much more explicit.
Diversity aka race to the bottom
@@Beer_Dad1975So - what is your point?

Fantastic comment.
The most painful thing I have seen lately! Look up Yuri Bezmenov to see why it's happening.
Yes and those of us that watched those interviews a number of yrs ago were called conspiracy theorists we are not because its all true. World wide Marxism leading to a one world govt.
Great discussion thanks - Diversity over Quality may be the greatest threat to civilization we currently face.
I 'dun' my 22 and been out 10 years but still have plenty mates who are in and we talk about it. It scares the crap out of me how awful it is. I'm not going to amplify.
I hear you...scary stuff
Steven Edginton!! Yay!!
Thank god for Steven Edginton! A great man
I was working for a large television company a few years ago in the UK, and I was partly hired on the basis of being from a ‘diverse background’, or so I understood. After my contract ended, my manager was keen to keep me on for another project. After my department manager vouched for me, senior management told me it was not in my best interest to be part of the next project. I later heard from colleagues that they intended to hire someone who was from a ‘more diverse background’.
That sounds so creepy to me. Thanks for sharing.
This is the thing that worries me for my two daughters. Its disgusting
I'm WHITE.
"Cultures that prioritize equality over freedom. Usually end up with neither." Milton Friedman.
Totally agree. I am baffled by all this woke nonsense. Thank goodness people are speaking out against it.
There needs to be action though. Along with mass deportations
Excellent interview and great insight from Steven. Fact-based and rational 👍
Followed Steven since the days for The Sun, the only content of theirs I've seen for 30 years. He did well and deserves the progress hes made and making. Good on you lad. Excellent work again. Bravo!
This Armed Wokery is just like the infection that is the UK College of Policing
And NHS..I'm 10 years in the NHS now and it's just constant
With any luck the Cass report should precipitate some changes in the wokery there.
I can see a satirical sketch showing UK soldiers of diverse backgrounds celebrating their unity and appreciating their ability to be together … moments before being effortlessly overpowered by the enemy
Even better: they're all getting along swimmingly... in an enemy prison camp.
I think you almost just described this...!
Monty Python called it-years ago... 😂

What a good interview. The UK army situation reflects, in parallel, other western armies.
I've heard it all now. Is DEI a great filter and how civilisation ends ?
All I need is some popcorn and a hill.....
That's the funny bit. The saturation point has already been reached, and the only people who don't know this stuff yet are the ones who watch Cable News.
And those people cannot be helped.
@@ephraimwinslow Even if we cut off all immigration overnight, Britain is still so full now. Those people will have children and multiply.
One of, if not the best, interview that triggernometry have done
My Dad was a 22 year career soldier in the Intelligence Corps. Thank God he died in 2019 before The Long March Through The Institutions broke out in earnest.
He told me nearly 50 years ago that this moment was coming. He would have told me earlier had I been a bit older.
50 YEARS AGO??? What were the signs back then?
@@WaaDoku the sexual revolution. That was the first sign of disintegration in society.
Did you Dad tell you why he thought it was coming?

Then we recruit and give them weapons lol 😂 you can’t make this shite up
Successful invasion
This is closer to the type of conversation on dei that should be held.
I love Steve, thank you for having him on
About Polish people.
Grant Shapps ordered a review but a week later said women were the future of the military
I am not sure Shapps was telling the truth
If his mouth was moving....
Grant shapps is an odious little cretin
Heard Steven speak before on this but great to have him on long form. He’s correct that the two sexes are different (best to use sex not gender). I disagree with women being on the frontline. Plenty of other worthwhile jobs they can do in the forces. Great to have actual journalist doing journalism and presenting it engagingly! Thanks Steven & Triggernometry.
This country's doomed
I’ve been watching Steven’s interviews for a few years now and it’s great that he’s been given an opportunity to be on the other end! He doesn’t disappoint. Thanks guys.
Cringe
@@Tokyodisco1 exactly to my point others will not understand.
We need competence and loyalty. Standards are out the window.
Another great conversation❤
The real question is not "why this is happening in our military", but "why is this happening in ALL industries, in ALL the western countries, at exactly the SAME time?" Do you really believe that's a coincidence?
Same in Canada. The last Minister of Defence declared the Canadian Armed Forces too masculine.
She also said that the forces were too white.
See how that lasts with the Russians.
Russia, the Muslim countries etc are salivating 😂😂😂
They should be. Who wants to defend wokeness?
And this is why I want nothing to do with the government or any public entity... ever
Steve Edgington is a fantastic guest and journalist
Thank god i done my 24 year service and left 2 year ago … the army has changed 100 fold over the past 12 years and not one way for the positive.
Love the army but so glad that i am done !!!
WHAT A DELIGHTFULLY WISE YOUNG MAN
This stuff keeps me up at night. Because living in London, as I have my entire life, that’s how it feels and looks right now
german here and believe me we dont laugh about you or anyone - we are ashamed that our political parties made an toothless tiger out of our Bundeswehr by believing we will live happy ever after till the ends of times and dont need them any longer! the money we investing is mostly help for ukraine and the rest gets lost in beaucracy
So if anything it's more of a meritocracy
It's never been about diversity. It's about dehumanizing white indigenous Western people.
The United Wokedom of Great Broken.
It's very sad what has happened to our armed forces.
He'd basically saying "we're all fucked!", but that English monotone humming voice is what makes all the difference. Love it.
I've come full circle. I discovered Triggernometry back in 2020 after the RUclips algorithm nudged me here after watching an interview Steven Edington did with Andrew Doyle, and now Steven is here as a guest. He hasn't aged a day!
You don't really age much in your teens
As an undergraduate inSouth Africa in the 1990’s my generation was told to step aside for the indigenous majority. As a post-grad medic specialising in the U.K. in the 2000’s, my generation were told to step aside for the non-indigenous minorities. As a parent in NZ my son’s generation is being told to step aside for the indigenous minority. I’m beginning to think it might not be a problem with me or my kind.
Go Woke go up in Smoke 🔥
This is still pretty bad… young female officers being forced into lesbian relationships with senior officers? That’s horrific.
Great from Steven
This is less than one minute long and I m sick to my stomach... Dont think I wanna know the truth 😂
It is absolutely astounding and they aren’t promoting one or two grades but they are jumping 4 or 5 grades
It is called ‘social mobility’ and is a smokescreen for pushing ethnic minorities into very well paid roles regardless of their competency
The police pioneered this as they pioneer so many aspects of social engineering
So now the military are going down this route. Unfortunately the meritocracy that once was a hallmark of a highly functioning society is being eroded. From soldiers to pilots and also in the medical and education systems
We are going to see less and less white men in positions of authority. Most police briefings are now conducted by women in the main, but it will permeate to more working class jobs. We are seeing this in headlines about lack of representation in train driving
I genuinely think society is being changed and it will become harder for working class white men to get a reasonable job anymore in any public sector organisation
Bang on
Someone is taking the piss out of Britain, big time, but they are getting away with it, and whose fault is that.

Of course they do. Marxist underpinnings.. anti nation state and massive government involvement in your life
Wow omg 😱. Great interview. What are locals?

The British Army has political commissars just like the Soviet Army!
To be honest, I stopped watching anything about this issue about a year ago - once I gained a good grasp of the ideology now its just a question of how far it advances. All I needed to know was the army are following suit, there's nothing more to say and, in my mind, not worth getting outraged about, just do what you can with who you meet, if the topic comes up, to let them know you aren't in agreement and find something better to think about I say.
exactly; I found i was getting wound up about things i didnt even think about when i was enjoying myself more , so now i ahve swapped all that internet time with zen gardening, working on my car, walking, even litter picking around my estate,
Also tend to agree. It's politics and beyond our control but as you said no harm in resisting where you can without losing your job
