I have the VideoMicro II, happy to see it stacks up in these tests. I wonder how the Rode NTG55 would stack up.......might be an eventual upgrade for me.
Yeah I use it for my more chill days for a more discreet mic with pretty good audio. Haven't used the ntg5 but I really like the Sennheiser mke 600 and mkh 416 for my boom mics.

@@PeterSu Ended up picking up the NTG. Seems to be working well, but just trying to optimize the right settings for my Sony A7c.

Micro II sounded best outside rejecting noise ,even better than NTG. Maybe because of fluffy windscreen?
