Excellent video. I really enjoyed watching that. I've been tying bucktail flys for a couple of years now without much instruction and a lot of trial and error. I will definately be incorporating some of your techniques into my flys. I really like how you taper and blend the hairs with your stacks and get to utilize different length hairs. Thanks for sharing. Cheers
Thanks. I use mono because it is the best choice for bucktail. Builds cones the best, bites the best, no cording...threads only need to be super strong when doing things that require it. Like deer hair, belly hair... Bucktail is a completely different material. You don't need to pull hard, just hard enough. Thanks for watching.
The ability to laugh when the thread breaks is great. Love the color combo. I learn more each vid you share 🔥
Cheers my friend!
Great looking bug brother!
Thanks man!

Likewise my friend!
Cool video. Funkadelic this time. Sabathia last time, I like your style.
Haha, I love all different types of music. Thanks for watching.
Why do you choose mono rather than using a stronger thread type?
Also…great videos!!
