Wooden furniture makes me feel so good when it comes to this kind of thing. I've been around workshop wood for years growing up with my late papa, and now I work around wood in a fixture company. So thanks for this kind of video
I live on an old Norther California Black Walnut orchard. The best of all walnuts. So I bought a wood mill. Every tree is like candy. Like a pretty girl. The colors and figure are always a surprise.
Even though I love all things tactical black, there's something about wood on a shotgun that does it for me...classy....
My first shotgun given to me by my dad when I was 14. A Remington 870 Express combo with slug barrel and standard barrel which has had thousands of shells through it! I'm now 60 and I'm sure it will continue to shot like a champ when I pass it down to my grandson!

The wood makes the gun look a lot better. Adds a lot of class to it imo.
I was recently in a gun shop that happened to have a Woox stock on their wall.
After being able to pick it up and handle it for myself, the workmanship is superb and entirely justifies the price.
If you can afford their products, you won't be disappointed.
Just checked...that's not a bad price at all! I recently did a full restore on an old Browning A5 and had to replace the stock and forend. Just the stock and forend was over 600 after shipping and tax.
@paulis7319 nice! If you browse around their website, rifle stocks tend to cost you quite a bit more than a shotgun refit.
Their 10/22 stocks, for example, enter the "luxury" price range, but I suppose that's just based on the difference in amount of material used.
Either way, this is the opposite of mass-produced garbage and is made to fit properly the first time - and it shows.
I have the 590 retro and the stock is not too comfortable on my grip hand. Is the woox stock more ergonomic?
@@RighteousJ Yeah I really like the look of this one. After growing up with the traditional shotguns for hunting, this look is far superior in aesthetics. Knowing my dumb ass I'd probably try to hunt with it once just to see if I can get through the woods without scratching it. lol
This has nothing to do with the video, but you should make a class action lawsuit against the federal government, since the eeoc , has declared that background checks for employment equals racial discrimination, the federal government can no longer require background checks for guns since according to their logic it disproportionately affects minorities, also since part of the democratic party has claimed that I.D. laws fir voting is racist because apparently black people can't get federal i.d.'s according to them , than requiring an i.d. to purchase a gun is racist and keeping minorities from there constitutional rights

Hes only interested in the sponsorship money for pushing new products and making videos to outrage gun owners into buying more guns😂. None of these influencers will step up even tho they have millions of people they could coordinate to take real action to fix problems but they never do. If you had a few million people who you could tell to help with some rights related things you would doit if u really cared but they have been distracted by the money and forget the cause

100% the perfect balance of tradition and modernity. I've been eyeing their chassis for my Savage 7mm rem mag.
Doesn’t look bad but to me as I was raised with them, the best of all time was the Remington 870 wing master and the 1100. My dad only hunted anything with one!
I am 65. I have my Wingmaster 12ga I bought a lifetime ago it seems. I mostly use it for turkey and doves. I love it. I have a Mossberg 590A1 for the house, keep it by bed. About 10yrs ago, I picked up a 870 (the one that was their basic model, matt finished) in a pawn store. It became a project gun. Found a used 18.5" barrel for it. Refinished the wood. The receiver is humble looking. (someone had really treated this gun poorly and it was exposed to water). It is a decent defensive gun.
I had the 870 Wingmaster and the wood on it was heads and tails above this WOOX stuff.
Oldsmobile Rocket 88, haha. My Dad had one of those and I drove it in high school...
I miss 88/98, impala, etcetera. Such good cars, extremely underrated performance for the upgraded models, wide bodies really handled sharp turns on embankments well (wild driving on curvy country roads).... and they were attainable because they were flooding the used market.

I built a target rifle on a WOOX Exactus chassis, I have absolutely no complaints, it fits me well. My shooting has greatly improved my accuracy just from getting enough cheek weld height.
Installation might be a bit challenging, but the end result is definitely worth it.

Not many use a sling or strap but a good idea so you can keep hold of your weapon when someone tries to grab it if they get to close.
The length of pull that you have there looks absolutely perfect. If it was too short you're going to wind up punching yourself in the face under recoil. Ask me how I know!

Sounds like the pull on that stock is just a little long for your preferences. I'm positive you can find a gunsmith to take the stock down a bit for you. I've had to have that done twice for a youth clay shooter.

I usually prefer a tactical look, but I don't deny that the aesthetics on that wooden furniture is beautiful, especially that pump grip, and now I feel like I want it 😍
I've been so down with wood on modern firearms lately. Even the factory Mossberg 590 retrograde, the Mini-14 with the Samson reproduction A-TM stock and Hannible rail, AR ranch rifles like the Fightlite SCR the wood furniture ARs like the NCR Service Rifle for my New Vegas fans out there. And Woox definitely making some of the best looking modern wood furniture out there.

I have e the Mossberg 590S Tactical...doesn't have the wood fur iture but I still love it+ my 500 has the wood furniture!!!
Working on my own version of the 590. began as a basic 500 that came with a rifled barrel and smooth bore ive swapped out the furniture for black instead of wood ,I put a bushnell red dot on it next I need a light.

I have a mossberg 590m with magpul furniture that I love, and dont ever plan on changing. But I do one day want to get a Remington pump for competition use, and when I do, I will be putting this furniture on it.
I'm new to shooting and realized the reason I was missing so many shots at 50 yards was because I was having a hard time getting a good cheek weld with my red dot, in my search for a stock with a higher comb I stumbled across this review and I'm definitely picking one of these up!
For now I'm back to bead sights and working on my form!
Highly adaptable, with classic utilitarian vibes! Hopefully they're going to offer one for the 870's.

As an amateur gunsmith I have customized several old wing guns and turned them into home defense beauties. I’m pretty sure we could take another inch off of that stock. I like a short stock and cut them regularly, applying new recoil pads and other options.

That is some real nice looking wood furniture for a shotgun. You might check to see if they make a "youth model' stock which tend to be a bit shorter than a normal stock.
Looks beautiful. I'd get this furniture if didn't already have the Tactaload Flash-5 stock. It's like those old Speed Feed stocks, only better in every possible way.

I would try to put special munitions on the right side of the forward pump and all buckshot onto the left of the receiver. Buckshot on receiver for easier reloads. Special on the pump for quick special shot while still having the tube loaded with buckshot. Pump back, breach load special, pump forward.
Wood furniture is the best ...I always keep my wood in my hands
I heard that if a gun has wood furniture its not as powerful as when it has plastic or composite. Also if its black it is more powerful. then you can install a pic rail or a bayonet lug - they also make the gun more powerful. then you add an adjustable stock or a red dot that makes it even more powerful. Hey - you can put a light on it then it really gets powerful. that's why some people have about a dozen things attached to their AR it gets more powerful. Everything I know about guns I learned from NPR and CNN so I can speak with a great deal of authority on this matter. The wood furniture you showed will make the gun much less powerful. Good thing its a pump because some of those are machine guns - i think they call it semi auto because it can machine-gun a semi to little pieces.

look into the knoxx Blackhawk recoil reducing furniture...honestly it's amazing with one caveat.
the top slide safety on a mossberg is awkward to operate with the pistol grip models....get a beater maverick 88 from the pawnshop, use the receiver and trigger group with it's trigger ring safety, and keep the spare parts.
Dang, I just put on the Magpul furniture on my 590 a few months ago but now I want this...

I have slings on both of my M590's.
And again, Colion has me spending money but, on the up side. 10% off softened the blow. I doubt tarting up my 40 year old 870 is the best plan, but she'll be beautiful!
That would look good on my 590A1. Went to your link for the Woox furniture and my antivirus flagged the site.
Go online and get a "Limbsaver" recoil pad. You look like a big dude... Put the butt of your stock into your elbow. If you can't pull the trigger comfortably, then the stock is too long. Maybe cut the stock on your SG. I did that on my Remington 870P and my Remington 11-87P. No problems. Thnx Louie Awerbuck, "The Master of the Shotgun" (R.I.P.). 😢
