the developers of this game are the worst trash I have ever seen
Does anyone have a problem with the game crashing as soon as you load a household? 😢
Ive also been having this problem and have no idea what's causing it
My game crashes already when it's just on the loading screen.
@FlabbyAbi Yes this kept happening to me it would let me edit my sim and everything but every time I went home it crashed. I moved to another house and remodeled the new house. I found out it was the house I was staying in! 💯💯 I hope this helps 🙏🏾 Happy holidays! ☃️🦌🎄
What I did that fixed that was disable all my mods and restart my computer
@@pineappleman8210 I tried that and it didn't work for me.
I honestly want to cry, I didn't manage to properly save my sims that they are all gone, and I am back to where I started, I did try to check my files but I only have few households available, this frustrates me because I've been working so hard for months to build my ocs only for them to disappear

I’ve just lost an entire generational household that I have been working on for ages and it just randomly vanished from my computer 😭

Also, I would rather get my house back like I wanted so I can just fix it and make it better and literally I was almost in the game and then it crashed. I literally can’t the first time I died from starvation because my game was bugging just randomly go in the game. It didn’t say continue it said new game 😭
And my last question is, am I supposed to hit save or say that because I really need help to save my game and make my character so my character was saved and everything I do in the game because I don’t want to have this problem of losing everything again because I’ve only been starting this year and I’ve already had so many problems and had to start over again and if I had any more problems and have to do it all over again I’m like gonna quit the game because it’s supposed to be fun for me, but it’s just making me like terrible inside because I’m not mods won’t work and I’m having this issue

Hey!! Do we use any mods or cc in the game?
If we use mods, then we can try this!
- opening the mods folder
- searching in the search bar ‘ts4script’
- writing down each name of the script mods
- deleting all those files that end with ts4script (those ones in the search query)
- searching each mod’s name (from the list we’ve written) & deleting the files that have the same name (if some show up, bcs some mods also have files that have the same name but end with .package instead of .ts4script)
- going into the sims 4 folder
- deleting the game’s cache (called localthumbcache file) - this is a temporary file, so it will show up after opening the game, but it’s good to delete this file in case those broken files pile up in that file if I made sense 🙏

Could you help me because I started playing this game this year? I had so much fun with it. The first time I die from starvation because my game was bugging out that was fine. I tried just making a new game that worked really well for me. I saved everything the only thing I forgot to do was save in the character selection household that thing I’ve got to do and I forget how to access my gallery and I literally worked so hard and had a kid in the game and I really wanna get my house and character back so I can get my house character back or if that’s not possible could you tell me the proper way to save , so you will not lose it like ever because I want to start this over but I do not wanna lose this again because if it happens again, I’m gonna be done the game so can you let me know make my character and save everything so it will not delete

i cant press the save button it says loading and i dont know what to do D: haaaaaaaa does anybody know how to fix this?
We can try to cut + paste the mods folder on desktop (keep it there, don’t remove it) & also removing the localthumbcache file from The Sims 4 folder (this is a temporary cache file)
Also, if we want to use the mods folder, we can try to remove all the ts4script files from the Mods folder & look for updates for them & only install the updated mods, then putting back the mods folder into the sims 4 folder
