Il fait comme la majorité des humoristes français une fois arrivé à la fin de leur tournée ou même avant pour leur donner envie de venir (Sauf Kheironqui le fait H24) . Et il a bien raison ! Mais c'est pas une idée originale. He aint losing any money either, it only gives him more visibility and to that I say GGWP

the sudden switches from english to french helps out a lot to prepare to be used to switching between the languages and learn

I took French for four years (all of middle school and my freshman year in high school) and I was absolutely terrible at it. Barely passed with a C. So, I just wanted to say that it makes me so happy that you are thriving doing standup comedy in your second language, and it almost makes me have a shred of hope for when I to pick up French again in college.

My dad also took French for a few years in school and was terrible at it. In the end, he went to live with my mom in France and became bilingual in a few months! So learning French is possible even if you were terrible at it at first ;)

I am a French person living in Australia and I laughed so much when you talk about bucolic. I often wanna say it here and once I tried and people were like: what? I had to look it up thinking I was wrong but nope, it does exist in English....Happens so often that English speaking people have no idea what these 'fancy' words mean 😅 Anyhow! You make me laugh so much because everything you say is so relatable seriously. Love having a laugh about my home country 😂
Yeah it's funny. I have a friend who lives in Galicia and they have the same word in Spanish that we have in English. Insorportable/insupportable. I had to explain to him that most people don't know what it means so just use the word Unbearable.
I'm a Manhattanite New Yorker from Greenwich Village and I have lived in London, Paris, Bulgaria, India, Pakistan, Mali, Botswana, and visited 99 nations in total for at LEAST 3 weeks and ONLY if I had good friends or family there to stay with. I'm like a rare zebra in the United States! Truly, I am.... But because my mother was from Normandy and her "noble" family went back and forth between England and France since the actual Norman Conquest in 1066, I grew up speaking both languages and going to the last "classical education" private school in Manhattan, and I was the second to last year there where we were given a true classical education including ancient greek, classical Latin and our days from age 4 to age 13 were taught in High Church of England until lunch in the mahogany carved walled "refectory," and then in either the German or the French that you probably spoke at home for every class that day that fell after lunch.... So you might be learning algebra or trigonometry in French or German some days because the class fell in the afternoon, but other days, you would have to switch gears and learn it in English if it was scheduled in the morning that day!
2 years after my class, they got rid of the bilingual day and they added *GASP* Spanish to the language curriculum, which was just 2 hours of studying your chosen language each day....
And Spanish was the language of the New York City ghetto and the Puerto Ricans and other Carribbeans - but the very early 1980s HIGH Church of England was (and probably still IS) INCREDIBLY BRITISH IN IT'S OUTRAGEOUS AND OUTRIGHT CLASSISM and it's slightly less outright racism, but ONLY because it was masked within the class system from the late Victorian era that was still in use!
I relate to EVERYTHING Paul Taylor says and also his similarly bilingual stand up comedian friend from my Manhattan, Sebastian Marx, who has a DEFINITE AMERICAN ACCENT but pretty flawless French and "New-yorkais" English - and the two of them teaming up for one another's podcasts is AWESOME, by the way.

And I started watching you a long time ago when I was still back home. I studied French in university, but I didn't have much practice after. I was looking for some French content to keep being exposed to the language, so that's how I came across your channel. And I'm really glad I did. Hope you come to Toronto for a show. J'avais vu Paul jouer à Paris dans une toute petite salle et il est vraiment adorable dans la vie aussi. Je trouve qu'il a vraiment énormément progressé, l'humour sur les enfants fait penser à Louis CK sans être aussi trash. C'est la sincérité de Paul qui fait la différence. Plein de succès pour lui !

Très content de pouvoir revoir ce spectacle que j'avais pu découvrir sur scène. Première sortie spectacle après le déconfinement.

Je t'ai découvert grâce à ta première vidéo, et tu avais répondu à un de mes commentaires dans un live.
Je disais que je ne pourrais pas venir te voir, car j'étais trop jeune pour y aller seule mais que mes parents ne parlaient pas anglais. Il y a une semaine, mon père m'a pris 2 places, pour moi et la personne de mon choix.
Je connais le premier spectacle par cœur, je viens de finir le 2eme, et je verrai le 3eme en vrai !!! J'ai hâte de te voir en avril 2023 à Toulon !

En tant que parents français vivant en NZ, je confirme l'accent créole. C'est très drôle ! Ça marche entre autre avec "crème solaire" mais notre préféré c'est la prononciation du mot "marron".

Merci beaucoup pour cette vidéo! J'ai vu le spectacle précédent sur ta chaîne également et les deux sont vraiment géniaux! Merci aussi d'avoir mis des sous-titres, j'ai toujours voulu apprendre l'anglais mais je n'y arrive pas qu'importe les efforts, bravo pour ta persévérance en français, c'est une langue difficile même pour nous et tu t'en sors extrêmement bien.
