When I was 19 I left the logging camp to go to Half Moon Bay... North of Wrangell.
Managed to survive in a tent 3 months.... Lived off fish and edible roots and vegetation...
Totally alone... With the exception of two wolf cubs ....of which I gained trust....

Discomfort is much more tolerable in a group. Imagine pushing yourself through that discomfort as an individual. It's awesome that you guys have a group. You have an instinctual recreation of the primal hunting party.
I was SO HAPPY when you turned the corner and the cabin was still standing, roof and all. I nearly cried when you started disassembling it knowing what you went through!

I watched the episode last year and have been wanting to see this. I was so excited the cabin was still standing and couldn’t believe you disassembled it but bravo on the rebuild and improvements. It was great to see except for the incidents but glad you weren’t hurt too bad.

Incredibly wholesome. Guys who can be themselves 100% around eschother, goofy or stoic, doesn't matter, no comments on eschother, just teamwork and support and having a good time unabashed. Just love for eschother and brotherhood all unspoken, rare and awesome and you guys cherish it!

This is exactly what I have wanted to do for so many years. Since I was young. I have property, and have a camp, but modern. I would like to build a log cabin for my father before he is gone, and I think I am going to use your methods to build. I was going to try to do it easier, but the process is the big thing. I am so glad I stumbled on this channel and clicked. Best decision! You boys rock, and act much the same as my buddies. Cheers, and thanks for your service (I am Canadian). I respect you all.

you typically want as much roof overhang as possible on the log cabin especially in the wet climate like Alaska. it push back roof splashback away from the lower courses so they don't rot in a hurry

That's awesome. I did 8 years in the Navy and got out in 2016. My last duty station was the Roosevelt. This was an awesome video! The first video I watched was the initial cabin build. I knew right off the bat I was watching some fellow vets at work. With all the different accents from English to Canadian I just knew it. Eh? And the slightly off dark humor? If you know, you know.
I did wonder why I didn’t see anyone strapped with a Glock or wheel gun on Episode 1, but then when Dash got lost, I heard the “the gun”. Navy guys and land nav??? Sketchy at best. I think these videos and I’m on my 2nd one, Episode 1, are no doubt the best and most hilarious, awesome videos I’ve watch at least today. Ok so they’re the only videos I’ve watched today, but they are the BEST!!!!!! 😂. Outstanding camera work, editing, narration. Out-freaking-standing across the board my brethren.
