Lon is one of my favorite NSF hosts. He is awesome at leading the discussions in these streams. Keep up the awesome work everyone
Yea all the simple questions like... where are we and what's going on.......
Great Team. Lon is an excellent host. Trevor and Sawyer provide balanced analysis. NSF, thank you for the podcast.
Right on! I love the Countdown to Launch episodes that lead up to the Starship launches. Let the pre-game tailgate party begin!!!
Great Countdown To Launch NSF, And thank you Lon, Sawyer, & Trevor. BUT I have a problem with a statement that Trevor said. He said that this is the largest object ever to fly. this is incorrect the largest object ever to fly was the DLZ-129, with a length of 245m, & Diameter of 41m. Now Starship is the largest most powerful Rocket ever to fly at 121m in length & 9m in Diameter!!!
Fair. I think heavier than air is what they were probably thinking
Go for launch 4!
The long NSF stream intro is sooooo freaking good!
Buzzing for this flight, really hope they can ace that re-entry and nail the booster soft splash down!
Yahoo!!! Here we go!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Awesome episode thank NSF!
Lon is an amazing host, keeps things on point and engages everyone.
Trevor and Sawyer amazing insights as usual!
Counting the hrs with my fingers crossed that they nail every step.!!❤
Week from Today!
🤞🏻
Last Falcon heavy that went up the coast was truly a sight to see even from North Carolina
Super exciting 🎉🎉🎉
Starship 26 I am here and here to stay!
Other Starships I guess we're are all toast!
😂😂😂
So exciting!!! Can't wait for the launch! Saw IFT2 & IFT3 live. Unfortunately will have to watch this one from home (Alberta, Canada) as we won't be back to Brownsville until mid-October.
My best assumption would be that the slots in the hot stage ring had unexpected aerodynamic consequences. Perhaps was a cause of the extreme vibrations in the grid fins.
💃🥰🥳❤🔥Ship 26 ❤🔥🥳🥰💃
(Love your work Kevin!)
Is it me or many times Lon started talking he was cut off and or had music playing over top him. 🤔😆
D-Ultimate Super Cool ! Guys. We Dig It Yeah ! Alright !!
I miss the O G presenters
30:41 star hopper is like: we’re bidding aloha sn4 😮
What was up with the 2 random music clips lol
Put a parachute on the HSR and recover it... bingo.. fully reuseable.. just syack a different one on the booster for next launch.
Only brilliant xx
Texas is ready 🎉
During a recent stream I remember the question "flying by" (not shared by hosts) asking: WHERE IS LON? ... I guess this is the answer. Perhaps Chris B & Das have decided he "fits" as a One-Week Preview (aka "countdown to launch") Stream MC.
i'll be damned if i would fly on that rocket with leak in helluim vaule dontt they remember challenger and columbia not being flight ready
32:50 XD
what do you think about spraying some sort of glue on the heatshields that becomes a thin plastic film over the entire shielded side just to hold the TPStiles during launch?
It would have have to keep its material properties at 2000 degrees.
You misread his suggestion. He's saying only to hold the tiles in place during liftoff so the ship can start re-entry with all it's tiles in place. @@undertow2142
@@undertow2142 it could burn up during reentry and get reapplied for next flight
surely at some point the hot stage ring will either become part of the booster or a recoverable design? at present wasn't it an "afterthought" they put on for IFT2? i forget.
Flight 4 may even be considered part of the resolution of issues on Flight 3. After all until you actual test a fix you only have a theoretical opinion that it is the fix.
go go 26!! ;) the silver bullet ;)
It's all people freaking out on intercoms.
It's nice to see how quickly talking about impossible things changes to talking about day-to-day happenings ... for some. Of course, over time, some flat earthers will linger.
Damian aw muatation kartw huyw
Wen hop? 😶
Say What Dude ?
These long talks get boring !!!
How did you do that?
