The movie is pretty fantastic if you haven't seen it. This isn't an "If you're a fan of anime" recommendation either, it's just a great film that could've been live action. Probably prettier for being animated, though. (Disclaimer: There is some violent imagery)
The monologue that comes afterwards is one of the most emotional that I've seen, I could feel her anger, her hopelessness, a truly tragic scene, and a tragic movie.
