Didnt know Managua was this hilly my paternal grandma used to live in Bolonia before she pass thats the lowest point of the city and hot as hell..........................My bad lowest point would be everything that is close to the big lake
Yeah, SO hilly. It's extreme. The whole city is defined by the hills. There's a decent amount of flat-ish areas downtown, but everything is hill visible.
Totally off topic question regarding in-country transportation. I still do not know my first destination upon arriving in February but in another video you mentioned flying in and stay at the BW as an option since it is across the street. That said, any reliable resource on buses from that point to various spots in the country? Will all of them likely first head to the Mercado Huembes in town? I gather from many of your videos the internet is not the best source of info so such things and Moovit and Rome2Rio seem inconsistent in their results. I am sure I will figure the system out but really hope to have a plan for that first overnight then where to head next and how.
Huembes has some buses. The only place I've ever gone from there is Rivas / San Jorge. For Leon, Chinandega, Masaya, Granada, Jinotepe and many others, the UCA Terminal is far better.
