- - 2:42 I made the threads in the aluminum tube just using a bolt. There's no need for a thread tap;
- I did not use substances to sealing or any type of glue. The parts are simply fitted firmly;
- Only the burner and part of feeding tube get warm. The reservoir remains cold all the time;
- Pre-heating is needed;
- The cotton wick limits the alcohol flow;
- All the parts are basically garbage - an empty deodorant spray, tubes of an old aluminum antenna, a cotton rag or wick and bolts.
I liked your idea about how to build a burner. Can refill and reuse the alcohol instantly. Smart. Made one today.

Interesting idea of using a bolt as the tap. It looked like a hardened grade 8, so it's easy to see how it would cut threads into an aluminium tube. With this setup, I bet you could use any volatile fuel; from petrol clear to mineral spirits.
Even trimethyl borate and diethyl ether!/j
I would certainly like to see people try that (safety, that is)
Petrol’s a bit too volatile for my thinking 🔥🔥🔥but there’s a variety of the usual fuels that this could use.

How about using the nut at the end as a flow regulator? Tighten to lessen supply, wind out to increase.
And an old plastic bottle can be used as a cover/peep for the reservoir to prevent evaporation and allow checking of fuel level.
Talvez a própria tampa do spray possa ser usada no lugar da garrafa de plástico como sugerido por @old Navajo Tricks

Oh yeah baby ...once the preheat went off and the flame cleared up it reminded me of my leaky Coleman dual burner camp stove wow does that thing leak and start burning out of the box and pushing your nerves it's a real good heater but you got the basic problem figured without the pump and the pipe that preheat the fuel .

That is cool! Idea, a thick aluminum bottle with a wide mouth with screw on top. Place a presure valve close to the top on the Aluminum bottle that you can connect a hose to feed a burner. Design a craddle for the Aluminum bottle were you can place a candle and place the bottle on top. Connect hose to burner and bottle fill with alcohol and light candle place bottle into craddle so the candle can heat the alcohol and build vapor that is then released at a steady feed to the burner were you can adjust the flame. Even a soda can stove for the bottom of the presure vessel would work way better. Been thinking about this awhile do you think it would work? 😊

Not really worthless, this could prove useful for camping, road trips or (worst-case) in a SHTF scenario where you might not exactly have access to normal stoves. Plus, it’s always neat to learn something new, and to make something for yourself.

Rather effective only thing I would add is a flame holder like just a washer two thirds of the way down the tube with a smaller pin hole will make it hotter and more efficient 😁great video 🤙

@@MateusSilva-gh9se Por isso eu falei em uma malha de aço, como a lanterna Davy, que serviria pra impedir o fogo de chegar no álcool sem gerar a pressão necessária para uma explosão.
Até porque uma tampa pura iria criar vácuo e impedir o álcool de passar pro tudo menor.

Uma sugestão de melhoria seria deixar este tubo da chama ligeiramente cônico, com a abertura superior mais larga que a inferior onde entra o ar, assim a queima do fogo geraria uma pressão de sucção maior, alimentando melhor a chama. Um tubo mais comprido poderia funcionar da mesma forma.
мы берем крышку от банки, наливаем спирта(первак-отходы 95%) и поджигаем на столике в беседке, далее в щели стола вставляем по обе стороны пару раготуль из веточек, одну веточку по толще чистим это шампур, нанизываем на него куски сосиски/сардельки/мясо мариновонное и крутим сидя за столом. шащлык готов))))

it looks very efficient, can the screw at the end of the antenna be used to control the flame if the screw is made longer to cover the holes?

لكن احتراق الكحول هنا ما زال : "إ لهبه أصفرا ، يعني إحتراق الكحول غير كامل " ،

Quando o caninho esquenta, fica vazando álcool pelo furinho e não da fogo como o do vídeo.
Tbm occoreu isso comigo, daí resolvi vedando com epox, ficou incrível.
Tenta diminuir o recipiente usado como reservatório, ou tente aumentar o tamanho do tubo que liga um ao outro. A pressão pode estar criando isso, ou talvez a mobilidade com que o alcool está tendo para chegar do outro lado, pela temperatura o alcool sai rápido devido a pressão que aumenta, mas não era pra sair tão rápido a ponto de sair em forma líquida pelo furinho 🙄

A válvula do encanamento do queimador do fogão e o caninho d alumínio da certinho, o caninho já está pronto cm a válvula é só conecta no recipiente e fazer o queimador...
