If one doesn't use MS online services (Office, cloud storage etc) then one should be able to opt out of forced MS account login yet local login is not possible in Windows 11. The fact that they don't allow users to operate without being logged into MS account breaks user trust. It Doesn't really matter what Microsoft says they do or don't do with user online data when people cannot trust what MS says.

MS will be sued if this was the case - so think clearly.
Microsoft never said that officially. It was an engineer at Microsoft, who spoke out of turn.
