im all for these deep dives, but they somehow just completely omitted the actual key factor just to spin a more grandious narrative. the bucs objectively stopped being underdogs when everyone knew KC was gonna be without both starting tackles. which meant the bucs wouldnt need to blitz to get pressure and wouldnt need the safeties in run support at all. that wasnt a brilliant game plan it was just the logical adjustment to make in that situation. and it was no surprise to anyone that it ended up being the correct adjustment to make. the bucs defense was the MVP of that playoff run, but everyone knew they were going to eat going into that super bowl. if anything, i give them far more credit for the games vs the saints and packers.
Lmao bro are you delusional?? Everybody was predicting a chiefs win, in fact some were calling it a possible blow out. I don’t remember seeing more then maybe 10% of people saying that the Bucs would win. Cut the crap and admit that Brady and the Bucs D proved you wrong

@jared, THANK YOU! Not taking anything away from the Bucs because they still had to show up and play, but their defensive line definitely had a much easier time going against a backup offensive line that four out of five were backups, which in turn severely threw Mahomes off his groove, and their secondary definitely capitalized on that. Am I saying the Chiefs would have definitely won? Absolutely not. But the game would've definitely been much closer, with the Chiefs potentially having at least ONE touchdown or, at most, winning.
Even with those tackles, it was gonna be the same, chief fans like to forget that the regular season game was only 3 points, in the second half Bucs defense Made some adjusts and kinda dominated the chiefs offense.
@none of your business ho My friend, don’t lie to yourself and say that it was the refs to make yourself feel better that the Chiefs lost. Don’t ever lie to yourself. Accept the truth. Be real. The Chiefs lost this. Why? Not because “the refs were making bad calls.” They lost because their Offensive Linemen were getting babied by the Buc’s front seven all game long and, on top of that, safeties we’re playing DEEP to counter the deep threat offense that is part of KC’s offensive scheme. Specifically, Shaq Barrett and JPP were up against tackles who were only in the game to replace injured starters. Do you know how many yards Patrick Mahomes scrambled for in that game? And these aren’t yards gained. These were yards he ran from scrambling from the pocket. He scrambled for nearly 500 yards. He was pressured in almost 30 dropbacks, and the Buc’s defense blitzed only 6 times. Other times, they had only four pass rushers. What does all that mean? It reassures us that the Chief’s O-Line was getting absolutely demolished and the Refs didn’t have to do anything. I’m sorry, friend. But the refs didn’t win this one for the Bucs. That defense was stellar, KC’s offense couldn’t catch, and the O-Line was as miserable as a dead bedroom.
Heres how, it aint rocket science. They dropped 7 guys into coverage and got massive pressure from the front four because the chiefs oline was on life support. Ez money.
If Jameis Winston was the quarterback they would be having a losing season Tom Brady just know how to win Bruce Arians ain't got s*** to do with it or Byron Leftwich they have a quarterback that's a head coach and offensive coordinator and everything you want in a QB Tom Brady made them look good as matter fact New England always beat the Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts.
Coach Stefanski.....YOU paying Attention ?????....Let's NOT,,,,,, LOSE this one ! You had them last year. Start us Strong !.........Stay Browns !!!!............Ed T
This could have ended only 1 way. The Football gods have a way of working these things out. Hate Brady? Think he's washed up? Think he's nothing without the Bill & the Patriots? Think Arians doesn't know what he's doing? Think the Bucs were garbage? They had more drive than anyone else. They had more reasons than anyone else. They wanted it more than anyone else. They deserved it all.
@@Avafishh shouldve couldve wouldve.. you build a team, whether for the win or loss. Chiefs shouldve had more depth & their front office agreed this offseason. Lets see how this one goes.
If KC would have focused on TBs weak spot (intermediate pass over the middle or that intermediate zone) and had some patience they might have won or made it respectful. Teams ate TBs D up doing this all year and why their pass D was somewhere in the 20s. Cant really blame it on Mahomes when his guys are dropping TDs and 1st downs left/right. The problem teams has with the Bucs is if they build up a lead they tend to abandon this pass/strategy for chunk yards or when teams get the lead they try to run on TBs top rated run D. Both is big mistake. KC being a quick score offense if need be should know this but I guess missing 2 starting lineman didnt help either. They were kinda fkd from jumpstreet really. Js
I’ll tell you how: the Bucs played against arguably the worst o-line in Super Bowl history. Anyone recall what happened 3 months prior when they were fully healthy?
I mean yeah but they also changed their safeties to play deep which also changed a lot. You gotta give them credit they game planned really well even if the chiefs line helped them out
Yes, Todd Bowles caught onto their offensive deep scheming and started running double High safety 75% of the time to limit and minimize big plays, Safe to say it worked
Yes, so? There are still professional athletes out there. The Chiefs never gave their tackles any help by using a TE or bringing in an extra lineman. They didn't try to run the ball till the 2nd Half. Bucs would've kicked their ass anyways, like they did in the 2nd half of week 12, when they had the Chiefs o-line intact.
Simple, really. Hope every one of the Chiefs' OL starters goes down and you _might_ win if every Chiefs' receivers decided not to show up and catch balls. Duh! Easy!!
Don't forget the most important , PAY($$$) OF THE REFS to make calls in you favor. The BUCS should have never made it to the SuperBowl with the help of the Refs, all the proof in below links.

If somebody says Brady's no good, just keep walkin'. No use wasting time talking to that fool.
Just want to add :
Most Super Bowl MVP : 5
Only player wins a Super Bowl with Super Bowl MVP for two separate teams. (Peyton Manning won for Broncos his second SB without SB MVP)
Only man in the history of planet Earth to win SBs in three different decades! (and if things go the Bucs way this year, TB will be tbe only man in history to win two SBs in three different decades and the first one to achieve back to back SB wins in two different decades!
TL;DR
Tampa resident here.
Winfields peace will forever go down as my favorite football memory. It was a thing of beauty.
That defense dominated because kc had back up tackles in that game. If you remember jpp and their edge rushers were on Mahomes quick
Oh it didn't matter who was hurt for the Bucs though. Weak excuse
Brady took out Drew Brees , Aaron FRAUDGERS , and Patrick Mahomes in back to back to back games.
7 rings! Most in NFL history. #GOAT!

Tom Brady is the system.
Watching this waiting for kickoff
Incredible how tom brady went to TB and they win , antonio brown brilliant and no nonsense, Gronk larger than life, todd bowles suffered with the Jets it goes on and on amazing truly amazing
Amazing NFL FILMS !! Thank You
Brady is the undisputed GOAT
that AB at the end of first half just shows you how great he is.
Brady helped put the team together
Players were all in, not too much concern of being hurt amd getting tired especially the defense because with Tom, they know they have the chance and their effort will not go to waste....
Todd Bowles former Redskin Super Bowl Champ
Todd Bowles strikes me as a thinking man. He's soft spoken, and doesn't say anything unless it's necessary.
What he did to the Kansas City Chiefs is legendary. KC still hasn't recovered.
This should be a movie
So awesome to get a living legend like Billie Jean King doing the commentary love from New Zealand
4:53 AB “coach he was outside of me”. Really hope he would have continued to play football
Had no idea Foote and Leftwich were coaches for TB, that's awesome
You can argue Todd Bowles’s super bowl game plan is still being used against the Chiefs this season and it’s working.
Such a great win!
His steps.. Good whip/zig route.. Any other names for that route?
Commented too quickly before they called it a whip too..
Browns taking notes rn
Chief got their ass whooped it wasnt even close like this was a shutdown in da final
what a feel good championship win this was. arians and his whole staff so deserving and yet so gracious and classy too. the chiefs were such a-holes about their victory the year before, trash talking the 49ers and even their own alex smith. very satisfying to watch them get their butts kicked in.
For real? I don't recall reading any stories coming from the forty niner players about being bad mouthed?
yep. google "chiefs trash talk 49ers" and you'll see articles.
@@bhongtastic I shall, thx, cheers.
@@bhongtastic 😂😂😂😂😂 its a smear piece by a 49er fan
The only legit reason ppl dont like the Chiefs is bcuz they are a small market team.
Reid and Mahomes have earned everything and in a classy manner
P.S. google what Arians said about the Chiefs after the SB. Now THATS trash talk WITH swearing 😂
@@mikelitoris312 dont bother. That guy is just biased. apparently “trash talk” is explaining how you beat your opponent 😂 the writer of the piece is a 49er fan lmao
The Karma the Chiefs got in this game was beautiful. So glad The Bucs taught them to be humbled.I hope.
while i agree with that, winnipeg sucks
TB's DL was what 49ers D was supposed to be the year before. Yes they were held, no holding call in the entire game, ik, and it's ironic that a year later Cheifs lost due to missing all the OL that was doing the holding lmao
LMFAO THE #1 RANKED OFFENCE THATS FUNNY......
games are won in the trenches
Mecole out coached Bowles. Told the Opps how to beat Hill and Chiefs 😂
I prefer the previous narrator's style. It sounded like the NFL. Why the change?
Is this part of a documentary or something that I can watch in full?
KC didnt have their O line... wow what a video
Yeah look how great they are with their o-line right now bro wow
@@nickwright4079 Yeah they still dont have it... they traded their best lineman
im all for these deep dives, but they somehow just completely omitted the actual key factor just to spin a more grandious narrative.
the bucs objectively stopped being underdogs when everyone knew KC was gonna be without both starting tackles. which meant the bucs wouldnt need to blitz to get pressure and wouldnt need the safeties in run support at all. that wasnt a brilliant game plan it was just the logical adjustment to make in that situation. and it was no surprise to anyone that it ended up being the correct adjustment to make.
the bucs defense was the MVP of that playoff run, but everyone knew they were going to eat going into that super bowl. if anything, i give them far more credit for the games vs the saints and packers.
Lmao bro are you delusional?? Everybody was predicting a chiefs win, in fact some were calling it a possible blow out. I don’t remember seeing more then maybe 10% of people saying that the Bucs would win. Cut the crap and admit that Brady and the Bucs D proved you wrong

Hi.
Many salty Chiefs fans here in this comment section lol
the chiefs had a swiss cheese offensive line end of story
yup that true
@jared, THANK YOU! Not taking anything away from the Bucs because they still had to show up and play, but their defensive line definitely had a much easier time going against a backup offensive line that four out of five were backups, which in turn severely threw Mahomes off his groove, and their secondary definitely capitalized on that.
Am I saying the Chiefs would have definitely won? Absolutely not. But the game would've definitely been much closer, with the Chiefs potentially having at least ONE touchdown or, at most, winning.
The only reason the bucs won was KC had McDonald's employees blocking
"BLUEPRINT" HA... Or maybe the Chefs were just missing 5 of their starting offensive linemen??
Good luck only rushing 4 against a competent o-line
Simple chiefs had both their tackles out lmao wow what a mystery.
Even with those tackles, it was gonna be the same, chief fans like to forget that the regular season game was only 3 points, in the second half Bucs defense Made some adjusts and kinda dominated the chiefs offense.
4:39 Gronk also wide open
The real MVP's of the Superbowl were the Chiefs tackles.
🤡
@none of your business ho
My friend, don’t lie to yourself and say that it was the refs to make yourself feel better that the Chiefs lost.
@@caydenthao6570 true, the o line was mediocre and Mahomes spent pretty much the entire game running for his life. Good planning by the Bucs though
Tom Brady
Everyone on the chiefs including the staffs let Patrick Mahomes down.
That guy is on another level
Chiefs kinda overrated ngl
true
When theyre playing well theyre the best. That doesnt happen often in the playoffs though. Still better than most teams
No not exactly. They deserve all their glory. They earn it.

"Risk it for the biscuit"
One of the most ridiculous statements I've ever heard regarding football.
it worked, didnt it
Heres how, it aint rocket science. They dropped 7 guys into coverage and got massive pressure from the front four because the chiefs oline was on life support. Ez money.
Who is this narrating? Brings absolutely nothing to this, except a monotone voice and struggling through the script.
affirmative action narrating
Lame narration.
Having half of your O line out helps
Only few HCs in their second year in a NFL team have manage to win a SB, so far I know it's Bruce Arians, Doug Pederson probably few others as well
Lol, they won because of the refs
If Jameis Winston was the quarterback they would be having a losing season Tom Brady just know how to win Bruce Arians ain't got s*** to do with it or Byron Leftwich they have a quarterback that's a head coach and offensive coordinator and everything you want in a QB Tom Brady made them look good as matter fact New England always beat the Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts.
Ummmm....they cheated?
Clearly you didn’t see how much help Mahomes had so at least we could’ve had competition and maybe if Mahomes had a decent o line chiefs could’ve won…
@@Avafishh shouldve couldve wouldve.. you build a team, whether for the win or loss. Chiefs shouldve had more depth & their front office agreed this offseason. Lets see how this one goes.
@@kevinfranco1996 aaaaaand Brady got lucky bc of missed kicks...
@@Avafishh lol never tire of hearing about how "Brady got lucky" because of ... always hilarious.

And yet they Still said we're gonna beat the bucs easy, and then after they lost they make excuses on how they missed two starters
