Of course it sounds better! all turbo engines muffle the exhaust because the turbo acts as a muffler so that's why some turbo cars don't even use a muffler (fiat 500 abarth) because the turbo itself quiets down the engine.

I totally agree with Maximilian, turbos and other boost stuff are for performance, not sound. I think youtube is polluted with those "AMAZING BOV SOUNDS EARGASM" and other jet engine sounds. I don't care about the sound of boost, i'm just looking for the best sounding exhaust. Sometimes the turbo spooling is so loud you can't even hear the engine smh.

Now... how mucb power is that car putting to the ground? Love the sound. If it has about 200hp, then it would be the ideal swap into an old Triumph Spitfire.
Yep 2JZ GE (non vvti) making 225 crank HP from the factory. This motor can withstand about 700hp safely with a thicker headgasket and new head studs. Although getting it to run on a standalone ecu is more difficult than the already boosted from factory 2JZ GTE

i think you are the only person who has ever said that, as an owner of an NA 2jz I would absolutely prefer boosted sound
