I’m going to get the 2 person Ashcroft for use with 1 person. Great value. Thanks for the thorough review of this. I’m glad to see that roof vent for sure
Awesome information! I used this same tent on a backpacking trip around Mount Adams with my 9 year old daughter. I have no idea how this tent performs in wind and rain. We had absolutely calm and sunny skies. Also a big fan of the easy setup and takedown.
I bought this tent last summer, just test set it up in the yard. Preparing to go camping with it next weekend. I think its going to be perfect for me and my gear.
Nice tent pal, love kelty, I have the 2 man kelty military tactical tent, the kelty eagle 128l backpack and the awesome kelty varicom sleeping system all great gear and for me a great quality brand
Nice video.. especially knowing your height & weight (I'm 6'2" 215#) since I'm in the market for a tent for some upcoming motorcycle camping adventures this saves me a lot of time and groundwork. *subscribed
Yeah, the sleeping pad is really comfortable. It’s by no means a backpacking pad, but it’s great if you’re camping with a vehicle. The R-value is 6, so it’s super insulated and will keep you warm. And it has foam inside, so even if it gets a hole in it, you still have some padding under you. It’s called the Cabela's Ultimate XL Sleeping Pad. 🤙
Man, I really like Kelty tents for their weight and sturdiness; however One door for 2 person is tolerable but for 3 person is definitely a deal breaker for me!
Got a used one of these with no instructions, and was feeling lost as a beginner. This review was a life-saver! You rule. Love this tent now
Hell yeah I’m glad it helped!🤙

I think I’m also going to go with the two person for solo motorcycle camping.
Good call-I think it’s a good fit for that.
I just picked up the 2 person today for just me back packing on a small scale. Thanks for the video.
Glad it helped!🤙

4:28 are those loops for a gear loft? I like the design.
I’m not sure if they were specifically designed for one, but they would probably work just fine.
Do you recommend your orange sleeping pads?😊👍

Would you recommend a footprint be used with this tent?
Yeah, the material on tents like isn’t very tear, puncture, or abrasion resistant, so having a footprint underneath will help.

Do technically correct😇wondering if you could
Possibly set up a wind fan
And a sprinkler, in you’re room for storm evaluation, while lying inside?????!
Haha that would be the best review ever
