complicated adoption emulsifies the quirkiness of the map as it is a one day map after all, this really brings to the scale of the architecture in Zimbabwe.
The Zimbabwe Dollar (ZWD) was established to replace Rhodesian Dollar and to signify the nation’s independence from the UK in 1980. It was redenominated 3 times until its eventual collapse in 2009 due to hyperinflation caused by unregulated printing of money, the Land reform program, and government involvement in the Second Congo War under Mugabe. Today, Zimbabweans rely on a multi-currency economic system set in place where money (especially US dollars) from around the world has become legal tender in place of Zimbabwe currency.
I remember playing this map, probably sometime when it came out or sometime in 2022. Unfortunately I didn’t solve it cause I’m not terrific with puzzles, perhaps I should give it another go. Cool to see that it was made in a day though! Fastest I ever made a map was in 13 days, it was for a 2 week competition
I mean, the naming process makes sense. Not only did you make a solid map in the map editor, you also had to enhance it in hammer. By the time you were naming it, you had already deflated
what. You made THAT in one day? In my standards as a hammer map maker, that's IMPRESSIVE as it takes me a WHOLE YEAR to finish a single hammer map.
