One day we're just going to watch one of LRR's streams, and the first thing we hear is going to be "You expected Graham here, but it was I, Waluigi!" and then the stream turns off.
Thanks to your open letter to Samsung, I discovered, after 6 years, that my similar Samsung TV is not "remote only" and actually does have controls on it. Good to know, I guess.
Jeremiah B The other controls do not turn bright red (or any other color) on my model even when manipulated or when the power is toggled. There's a little red led under the "power button," but it's always on whenever the TV is plugged in, and because the markings are nearly invisible, I always thought it was just a status light indicating that it is plugged in. Now I see that it's a "guide" to find the power button, but if anything, it makes the markings for the other controls harder to read because of the glare. I still need a flashlight to operate the "manual" controls. Not that I would - unlike Paul, I was happy to just always use my remote. I never lose it - I keep it in exactly one place, which is right next to where I sit to watch TV

I appreciate that the Paul that did the intro and the Paul at the recording computer in the intro are wearing different shirts. I came to watch the recording so I could rewatch the intro and ending. Didn't notice the cut at the intro the first time through when it was live. Really threw me off with figuring out how the heck it was done. You Paul's and your tricky video editing skills! We better make sure we never make Paul suffer through another horrible eating challenge though, that looked like true torture.
No one around to film Paul doing it :( Unless he also set up a secondary camera set up to the side to show off him setting up and doing it, in which case that would be amazing.

A valiant and commendable effort, Mr Saunders! Great Job! Some noticeable technical delays, but quite forgivable given it seemed literally to be just you there. Though I do find it amusing that the episode entitled "Understaffed" is NOT the episode that consists singly of Paul.

I had a similarly designed Samsung. I had it for six years, and discovered that it had backlit, capacitive buttons on it the day I gave it to someone else when I moved. The backlight for the buttons was residual from the screen's backlight.
See, this is why LoadingReadyLive is my favorite talk show. Conan O'Brien or Jimmy Fallon wouldn't be brave enough to solo-produce their show to an empty room if everyone else were unavailable. Good on you, Paul.
I'm guessing either Cam or Heather were actually there to help with the camera at the beginning. But enough of the crew were out at PAX that Paul decided to do a Paul only Live as a joke. That or clones. Probably clones actually.

My PC monitor is a Samsung model with the same infuriating design issue; the remote's battery attachments have corroded from dormant batteries.
Have you never noticed that when you first hit the power button, and when ever you touch that general area when its on, they light up bright red?

When in doubt, press the light. That's how I found out. Didn't know there were other options until I missed the light though.
