I have less vertical lip lines than some, however, I am wondering if i could use this regimen on my nasolabial folds and marionette lines...They are not extremely deep but noticeable. So do I!! I don't even notice it until my jaw and teeth hurt from clenching and I look in the mirror. I 'feel' like I am trying to keep a gentle smile on my face, but with the over strong face muscles, my chin is dimpling and my face just looks mad! It's embarrassing and sad when people want to stay away from me due to RBF. Thank God for my good friends who see right past it and know my heart, ❤️

I was looking for something I could do at home for the fine lines I am getting around my lips and found this guide! I am 39 this year and noticing wearing lipstick or gloss it runs spreads into the fine lines. I already use a derma stamp for a scar and roller for my face. I was struggling handling the derma pen around my lips though. I didn’t know the derma pens by dr Pen move like a tattoo machine quickly and thought it was just a sudden stab. I also didn’t know about using my serum for slip. This is very useful and will look at Dr Pen options.
Your videos are amazing. You are an amazing teacher. In addition to this protocol would you recommend at home radio frequency and/or laser for the upper lip lines and if yes, which ones. Your advice will set me straight!!

Great video. I've been microneedling for awhile but wish I had started younger, before the lip lines started, due to my genetics. My grandmother and mother had liplines and I do, too, unfortunately.

I wonder how this will work on light scars (from shingles). Yes, I had shingles on my face of all places, the only saving grace was that it was less painful than having it in a spot that is constantly being rubbed by clothing or any touch. It looked absolutely horrible, but it is key to never mess with shingles to avoid deep scars which are why mine are very light. I you get shingles near the eye or on the face, it is important to see a doctor - and if you do have shingles get to a doctor as early on as you can because they have a medication that seriously lessens the duration if taken right away. Signs of shingles are bumps which become painful on one side of your body or the other - mostly anywhere from the waist up. Mine started as bumps on my scalp ("I dont remember bumping my head!") And erupted in a line from my crown to my eye left, the end of the "line" was where it turned into blisters. I was going through the most stressful time in my life - which is the main cause of shingles incidents and can happen at any age - especially to baby boomers who are now concerned with battling aging! It lies dormant in nerve cells in anyone who has had chicken pox, no matter how light or severe the case. A shingles vaccine is probably your best bet if you have ever had the chicken pox and over the age of 50. Shingles is quite painful. It is like a burn that will not stop, or a bee sting that will not stop. And although the pain will momentarily come and go wont subside for weeks. Thankfully, I got to a doctor as soon as I realized what it was and the worse it got, the more I imagined it was something terrible - which it wasn't! It also makes one contagious to people who have never had chicken pox or the vaccine for them. It is especially dangerous for women of child bearing age and the elderly.
So - using retinol products and glycolic acid peels have made the scars much less apparent, they are still there, like divots in a golf ball and I really really want them to go away already! It has been 20 years already! I used to be a "test subject" at a cosmetics testing firm, and I noticed great overall improvement after administration of 30% glycolic peel treatments once a month. Talk about smooth skin! The feeling was weird, but the results, my oily skin, sunscreen use since age 24 and using which hazel to cleanse rather than any soap are why I think I look much younger than I am (mid 60's). I love these videos on how to do these treatments the right way! You look great - and ageless! If I had to, I just could not guess your age! That you are mid 40's is just crazy, you look maybe 30 at the most! My daughter is almost 40, I need to get her on board with this! She is still young looking, but mentioned how she is concerned with the fact that her skin is not quite what it used to be. Anyway, sorry for the long post, but I imagine shingles has to be a concern for more than just me! Maybe I should start a youtube beauty channel...I am a beauty product addict, once a year I look to see what is new in the industry, then I stock up and try everything because I cannot decide, so I buy one of everything! Don't get me started on fragrances! I could have been a successful "nose" in that industry! If I worked at Sephora, I would NEVER get out of there with a paycheck! In fact, I would need another job to support that job! I also can't leave walgreens or cvs without more than a few goodies even if I just went there for toilet paper! The internet is a great place for beauty bargains and hard to find items but I like to see and touch what I am buying, want to take it home NOW, and like to return items in person - and that is why I love places like Sephora, Ulta, TJMaxx and Marshalls. For me, going there is such a treat! 😊❣
