@ 40:50 So I've got something to counter this, because I think this could be an interesting discussion and yes you are right in that if you take that statement of "oh you could buy house if you don't have that £5 coffee everyday" at face value it is ridiculous, and of course we all know money went a lot further back in the 70's and 80's etc. But I feel like people are completely missing the point when something like this gets said. The point being that if you cut down on unnecessary costs then you can start building up your savings and eventually get your own place, get a nice car, have a nice holiday, get whatever big, expensive thing that you want. Now obviously everyone's situation is different and you can't always cut those costs down, but I wouldn't be saying this if not for my experience the last two years of a particular colleague of mine. So, with that said, it's story time: I am 34, about 2 years ago I was out of a job and at the bottom of my overdraft (around £500 in debt to the bank), thankfully I managed to net a job before it got really bad. The pay isn't great but enough for me to cover my monthly costs, buy the occasional "nice thing" and save up for a house, which is my current goal. In 2 years I have saved up enough that I can start seriously looking to put down a deposit on a property, I've still got a ways to go but owning my own house is starting to become a real possibility. My colleague, 20 or 21, is on roughly the same wage as me, doing the same job and he started about 6 or 7 months before I joined. He was in his overdraft when I joined and 2 years later is STILL in his overdraft at the end of every month (before payday), some months he is in overdraft even after getting paid. Here's the kicker, in the time I've known him, he's bought several expensive items of clothing (we're talking coats, jeans, shoes etc, costing over £100 each), two brand new drones, a new (very expensive) rucksack to carry said drones, a water bottle that cost £60 + a monthly subscription for flavoured water, a new phone (his old one didn't break or anything, he just wanted a new phone), he gets takeaway multiple times a week (in addition to his normal meals), goes to a smoking lounge at least once a week, he's always playing the latest games on Steam, has spent a ridiculous amount on mobile games and wants to go on a holiday this year that he tells me will cost about £4k which he absolutely does not have the funds for. By his own admission, he sees his money (including his overdraft which isn't technically HIS money) as money that he can just spend every month, he doesn't even think about trying to save any of it. The point of this rant is that some people really do need to stop spending money on extravagant things that, sure they can afford in the moment, but only result in them not being able to put any money into their savings later on. And that is the impression I get when people make a statement like "if you stopped spending money on X you could buy Y".

I swear watching him fight completely fatigued hurts my soul. But I guess this is what he gets for completely abandoning alchemy. You don't have to abuse it but maybe having some restore fatigue potions would make your combat experience a little less crappy. Also I'm just kind of shocked that he's playing it in the most vanilla way possible. I have not seen him once even think about charm spells, disintegrate spells, blind or silence. Or anything fun! For instance, and especially for the stream casting levitate on target is hilarious. Morrowind at its core is about player expression and we're not even scratching the surface during this playthrough, kind of disappointed. Instead, even on the 8th video I'm watching him swing wildly while completely fatigued, and half his equipment broken because he refuses to use repair hammers when he picks them up and never repairs in town. For the love of God please play Morrowind like it's Morrowind and not like it's Skyrim.
