Yes A Modern Day Version of Love is a seriously great tune. Infact it is very much of the time. The sound is tremendous on this tune...If you ever want to know more about neil Diamond and some insights you can reach out to me...
The Bang Years were great, a lot of highlights. I think the disputes with Bang didn't help things but the Just For You album in particular is excellent. Very tough to get hold of that album on LP given it wasn't released here in the UK.
Velvet Gloves and Spit, IMHO, was highly underrated. And it is the best album name ever!! (The only ND song I won't listen to is The Pot Smoker's Song--awful, awful song.)
Got them all mate
Another great video! Deep in the Morning would definitely have made my list , my favourite deep cut from this period
Cheers! A great track, I agree

Thanks Edward! That offer is greatly appreciated and I may take it up sometime
Glory Road was featured heavily in the Paul Newman film, WUSA.
I happen to have liked the bang years they tend to be over looked after that I liked klackerflerg on velvet gloves and spit
