it's definitely expensive, and I'd have probably liked to see them undercut fanatec on this one - not that I'm in the market for one anyway 😅 I personally also liked the bronze circle around the center, not super in love with the colouring of the buttons though - I think it would look better if they were either a bit more muted or in complementary colours to the yellow accents
I don't mind the buttons. It looks like the 911 gt3 r steering wheel. I definitely would have liked to see them priced a bit more competitively though.
I know your comment is 5 months old, but same! I have had 3 wheels over the years since my DFGT died and I will forever miss the horn button... well, until my RS arrives ;))
I like it, the design reminds me of the early 1990s Williams F1 design. It amazes me how many options sim racers have today compared to what was available in the end of 2000s.
Hey man absolutely loved your video, keep up the good work. I wanted to ask you something, I have been playing on a logitech g29 for around 3 years now and im looking into upgrading my setup to a belt driven wheel and wanted to know if you could do a review on the t300 rs gt edition from thrustmaster, I hear its a very good wheel but I want to know your thoughts on it as I honestly think you’re one of, if not, the best sim racing review channel on the platform. Once again, keep up the good work, and a big hello all the way from Chile
Hi Ignacio, thanks for the comment! The t300 is easily the most heavily requested wheel on my channel. I’m trying my hardest to get my hands on one 🤞 stay tuned
The AccuForce has a horn. The flex on this wheel shown by Boosted Media is crazy. Sure all wheels have some flex when really tugging on them but that thing looked like it was made out of cardboard.
Think of it this way: You can spend a few thousand on a sim racing rig, or you can spend yet more money on an actual car, a trailer to transport it, track day fees, transport costs, repairs, maintenance, tyres, etc., :) that's how you justify expensive toys :)
Can't wait for more rims. If the make rims like TM I'll be elated. Also, I like the bits where you talk while you drive. What're your thoughts on the Moza controversy? The people on r/simracing have been bashing them like crazy and it sounds like other RUclipsrs have had issues with Moza's gear.
Thanks for showing me something I can't ever afford or justify the cost. OK.. rant over.. Very nice review. It looks expensive and I'm sure it feels great to drive. I like the way the dials are part of the wheel.... but those joysticks look funky.
I may upgrade my wheel in the future after I overhaul my sim setup. But definitely would buy if it goes on sale, a used one is available or a price drop in the future.
Hey mate, thinking about getting it. I primarily play ACC, how do the thumbsticks go activating things like the Pit menu for example? keen to hear your response, thanks for the indepth review.
I'm new to paying attention to moza so it's suprising that their wheels have dropped in price while not only looking better they offer more features. am I missing something?
Hey @OC Racing, love the content! I’m looking to get my first wheel and was wondering what your thoughts on the thrustmaster t300rs gt are. Do you reckon it’s a decent wheel that will last for a while or are there others that are more worthwhile or that I’ll have a better experience with that are roughly in the same price range? Thanks!
The biggest reason I've seen is depending on the type of car it is in, you can have a larger diameter wheel from the 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock position, but leaving it round would get the wheel pretty close to your legs, so flattening the bottom to make a d-shape increases the driver's leg clearance. Basically the same reasoning behind the GT/F1 style wheels, get a large diameter but in a small, more comfortable package.
Hey! I Want to change from Logitech, beacuse i have 2 Logitechs, G923 and G920. And the Clutch, Brake, Throttle is flickering, but its nevermind to how big deadzone i use, my brake is the worst on the two pedals. And for now i own Logitech Steering wheels for 4 year. The G920 is 4years old, the G923 is 2. And i want to change. I like this Moza, but it's not my budget. Yesterday i started to watch reviews, etc. And i very like it. And i want to buy it, but i don't know how i'll use it, beacuse i can't attach it to the Desk. And my only question is, can you use a H Shifter to it? If yes, which and how? If you readed this comment to the end, thank you :D
Hey, thanks for asking. First off, you’ll need to invest in a high-end sim racing cockpit in order to use this wheel. The moza r16 is very powerful and thus, needs a very sturdy cockpit to hold it. Using a desk will not work. Although moza racing does not currently offer any H-pattern shifter, assuming you’re on PC, there are tons of other shifters that plug in via usb. As a result, you’ll be able to use the moza wheel with an h-pattern shifter. For example, I use mine with the Thrustmaster TH8A.
Good things: Your video quality is great. Moza coming on to the competitive scene. More choice for consumers. Bad things: The colours are just ugly in my opinion. The price is targeting high end simucube etc but really should be undercutting fanatec. It looks like a toy! And lastly, you never mentioned the flex on this wheel. My god did you see and feel the flex like other reviewers have. For $500, it's unacceptable.
Thanks for the comment Phil! In terms of the flex, I didn’t notice (and after months of using it) still haven’t noticed any noticeable flex in-game. Perhaps it flexes when purposefully trying to bend it (like boosted media did) but when you’re properly using it, it’s not an issue.
the horn is worth 500
Making the entire setup 1k🤣

They could have definitely been A LOT more competitive had they undercut everyone else :(
I don't mind the buttons. It looks like the 911 gt3 r steering wheel. I definitely would have liked to see them priced a bit more competitively though.
I think it’s great, though it costs more than my entire setup
We all start somewhere... thanks for the comment :)
Great editing! You're improving every video :) my go to source for non mainstream wheel info
Haha, thanks :)
i love how this wheel costs more than my wheel, wheel base, pedals and stand lol. but it does look pretty sick
🥲
got to admit your video presentations are evolving. great job!
Thank you! I've been trying extra hard recently lol
Logitech Driving Force GT had a horn, that's a thing I really missed when I upgraded to a T300
I know your comment is 5 months old, but same!

Glad you think so :)

Thanks Keithan :)

Video and wheel look sick, as always
Thank you very much, Marti :)
will this wheel work with the wheel base that comes with the t300 and what is the max rotation of the wheel?
when parts for a SIMULATOR cost more than the REAL THING , wtf world
It eeez what it eeeeez

Im in love with that alcantara D wheel
😅
Wow! This wheel looks so damn nice and premium!
Great video brother!
Thanks for the comment :)
Great content by you brother, thanks and keep going 🙏🏻
Thank you very much :)
Why your videos so good man? You only have 17k but care about your subs like you had 20million subs.
I consider my RUclips channel more of a portfolio than a "business". Hence, I like to put my biggest effort into all my videos.
Never did I expect to be enjoying the sounds of a steering wheel that only works in video games
Starting an asmr channel asap 😂

I haven’t experienced any issues with it so I really can’t agree with the hate.
A part of me was really hoping you meant the wheel base too. I was about to sell my tx leather lmao
Wheel + Wheel base for $500... imagine :p
Dfgt also has a horn button
Woah! Are we getting real time commentary soon??
I'd love that
Haha, i'm still debating on it.
Thanks for showing me something I can't ever afford or justify the cost.

Glad you enjoyed the review, thanks for watching! The joysticks are actually very decent! I recognize that I didn't touch up on them much...
I may upgrade my wheel in the future after I overhaul my sim setup. But definitely would buy if it goes on sale, a used one is available or a price drop in the future.
For sure! Will be interesting to see what the prices on these go for once they enter the second hand market
I would use the leather round one cus it would work for drifting to and the leather would hold longer
I’ve never been good at drifting :(
WIth videos like these, you'll easily get 100k subs by the end of 2022.
Time will tell 👀

Hi there - I’ve never owned the T300 however, I have heard very good things about it.
@@OCRacing Ok, thank you for your reply!
Logitech g920 is my current wheel , brilliant wheel in my opinion
reminds me alot of simagic. same qr and connection on the inside of the qr
Interesting...
Oooooooooooooooo weeeeeeeeeeee I got a new video to watch!
You got it on Friday by accident. It was supposed to be posted tomorrow LOL
Hehe! LOL😀
id buy it but i have no moza wheel base good vid oc
Yeah, it would be cool if you could use this wheel rim w other wheel bases…
but does it comes with pedals?
i'd probably go with the round alcantara
Good choice 👍
Have you heard anything about the GT omega ART sim cockpit?
No… but I am hoping to check out some of their cockpits later this year
@@OCRacing ok, good to know
This looks like one of Fanatecs wheel rims
Yup, I briefly mentioned it in the video
Oc racing im big fan
Thank you very much :) hope you enjoyed.
Anyone here I need some help am playing on a ps4 and I have the pxn v900 and when am gaming it disconnects every few minutes
Any solutions??
What was the flex like?
Not noticeable in game.
Should you use gloves if using an alcantara wheel rim?
Yes! Which is why I’m not a fan of alcantara wheels 🥲
I think i prefer the D-shaped alcantara one
I like how alcantara looks but I despise wearing gloves :(
FYI: The new Formula wheel is worth it...partly cuz you have no choice with Moza. The RS shuld be $399.
Nice!
Nice!
also oc can you tell me the price of the full setup
Of my full setup or the price of the entire moza ecosystem?
I am just wondering, what is the benefit of a D shaped wheel
If you ask me: Because it looks cool. However, I’m sure there is some better reason.

Can u stick this on a thrustmaster t180?
No
Is the moza wheel only compatible with pc?
Yes
