    Thank you! Is it possible to make adult hat with the addi king size? And how?

    • @DaysCrochet
      @DaysCrochet  2 года назад +1

      It is! I’m sorry I missed your comment 🙈 You would need to go by length measurements of your tube. Most people do at least 135-150 rows if they intend to double up the brim. It’s best to use very little to no tension because it needs to be able to stretch. Good luck!

    Not sure how you made baby hat with addi king
    I have seen people made on addi 22 needles and after watching video I still am not sure how you did this
    I’m just guessing you pulled tension tight to make smaller circumstance

      Worked great with addi but way to stretchy opening would not fit babies head. What type of yarn did you use in video

    • @DaysCrochet
      @DaysCrochet  Год назад

      @@melissamclean1660 I used regular worsted weight acrylic (medium weight size 4). I haven't tried velvet yarn for any newborn hats but I imagine it would be too soft

  • @justdi3347
    @justdi3347 2 года назад

    Hey Dana! Can I ask what size yarn you used on this. I tried making one using an acrylic #3 yarn and it is kinda big with the 75 rows. It looks like it would fit my grandson who is one. I still very new at the Addi King, mostly the casting on part seems to be my most difficult part. Such a cute at this is. I love the plaid heart. Oh yes, I forgot to say, I love the way you reinforce the ends, it's like how I would do a crochet hat.

    • @DaysCrochet
      @DaysCrochet  2 года назад

      All the supplies are listed in the description box below the video (for future reference), but I tend to use a worsted weight size 4 yarn on medium tension. I believe it’s usually about 5 rows to an inch in my gauge

      @@DaysCrochet Hello, can we use every size of yarn and can we set the tension depending on how thick is our yarn?

    Please how many rows for a brimmed hat for 3-6 months. The little one I made for my sister won’t fit my 3 month old. That one was 35 rows of main color and 45 of brim color

      They are included in my printable pattern. It includes templates for the heart and the soles of the crocheted baby booties. You can either trace them and cut them, or follow the instructions for the Cricut I’ve included in the pdf. You can purchase the pattern here if you’re interested: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bailey-boots. It’s also on Etsy.

      They will vary in price due to the high demand for them. They can be anywhere from $200-$300. I bought one off of Amazon and one from an independent seller who no longer sells them. My machine is a 46 pin Addi King. There are several models, so be sure to pay attention. Good luck!
