- In this video, I'll show you a secret location below Diamond City. It's on the ground floor but kind of underneath the stadium seating. It's a very freaky place to explore. So let's have some fun with a little glitchy Easter Egg area that was probably never meant to be seen...

This reminds me of a similar glitch that existed inside the Citadel in FO3. There is a small opening in the Citadel's wall that puts the player outside of the rendered world and in to an environment exactly like this one.
If anyone’s curious, I know two super easy ways to glitch into walls and climb.
To climb you need a random trash can. Either a fully aluminum taller one or a short one with holes in it. The short one is much better. You carry that and push up against the wall (back to it) repeatedly jumping until you reach the top. It’s how I got on top of diamond city.
To glitch through a wall you’ll need power armor. In third person, keep walking against the wall and hold the button to get out of the armor. As soon as you start getting out keep pressing the button to enter again and turn your camera just enough to target the power armor. When you enter it, you’ll be inside the wall. Also, make sure you keep walking the entire time.
Somethings you might want to avoid are falling to your death with the trash can method and leaving your power armor while inside of the wall and walking out. So basically quicksave before attempting it.
Practical applications:
1. Glitching into external places or through doors that you can open when you’re inside.
2. Glitching into rooms that aren’t able to be entered ever for some reason or another.
3. Placing water pumps in settlements that are blocked off by structures or buildings (hangman’s alley)
Of course you can click through the walls and place them without using this method, but you won’t get as much out of it.
4. Placing turrets in settlements that can’t get attacked because one way bullet proof walls
5. Curiosity
i know an easier way press the '~' key and type 'tcl' and go nuts

With a jet pack there is a smaller space like that in Hangman's alley and Goodneighbour. I saw little worth seeing though.

btw, you can't open the gate in the VR version. I spent like an hour trying lol
You can still get up to the area, and there's an action indicator - but it just tells you it's jammed or inoperative (I can't remember the terminology it used)

You could use the wall climb glitch to get to most of those spots as well
reminds me of the mountain range in Skyrim. if you climb high enough, there is a glitch that lets you run and them swim all the way to Cirodil

I think but not confirmed that in the upper stands The Upper Class area was going to be developed more. And those loot chests areas where probably going to be for a balcony area in the upper stands. Just a guess but more than likely diamond city was going to be a lot bigger. The entire upper stands was going to have housing is what I heard but was scrapped due to something.
nice little find, always love exploring little things like this, like the glitch under the citadel in fallout 3 just a shame you can't explore anywhere near as much. btw I presume the loot crates on roofs will be intentional seen as the jet pack let's you get to these areas relatively easily tho i haven't looked at your loot crate room yet I'll be watching in a min lol
Looks like that exterior stairwell was meant for use with a Power Armor jet pack.

what happends if you load into diamond city before speaking to piper when the gate is locked?
Good question, but... Why would anything different happen? I don't remember anything special happening when you meet her. Oh, wait... because the gate is shut and locked and she's talking to some dude on the other side! Whoa! Yeah, that would be interesting to see! I mean, probably nothing happens, but it would still be cool to see! :D

I done this, It makes the diamond city gate [inaccessible] from both sides..
I done it as soon as I went to close to the gate it opened it casue I was trying to fast travel to the back ally and then bam in diamond city then as nomal it has dialogue
I found this last week and when I left I was walking past the front of diamond city and everything was open and I could walk where the walls should have been.

At least when you found the secret passage you didn't bore some DM by searching every section of wall for secret passages.
That glitchy stuff happens every time I'm either on the second or third floor of Medford Hospital (I think it's that medical institution, and I know it has Super Mutants) and it tripped me out the first time. Does every time I go there for whatever side quest. 🤔
None of that stuff you see looking into diamond city is actually diamond city. Diamond City is in it's own cell.
Loved your video and followed your example. If you stand off to the side when hitting the elevator button, the elevator appears. If you are standing where the elevator is supposed to be when you hit the button, it does nothing.

Simple thing it is those staircase along with that little sports bar / thing that looks like it's a was going to be something up on the roof That was supposed to be the Fallout players Diamond City Clubhouse except it's called cut contact meaning those staircase used to go to our clubhouse sitting up on the roof instead they changed it around somewhere along the line and just gave us that tiny little apartment inside but if that's what you're wondering why it's up there that's the answer there are mods to revamped it or reactivate it I don't know if the mods reactivate the staircase or not but that's the whole purpose of that just a heads up sir
jsut under the map like people seemed to do a lot in gta5. i don't think you can get out from under as easy as you think you can too. there is still walls a lot of places that are supposed to keep you from going under but they keep you from getting out
Do a video on how to get lots of ammo, just picked up the Overseer's guardian, and have no ammo...
Buy as much .45 ammo as you can, and focus on one gun at a time.
You can also get a perk to increase ammo found in chests, I forget what it's called, but it's under Luck.

Hey Michael, if I did a video on that it would be about the Scrounger perk which others already mentioned. But if I were you, I'd upgrade the OG to use .308 ammo and then just keep buying ammo after every quest from Arturo in Diamond City or Kleo in Goodneighbor.

It's possible to find a 10mm pistol with a similar legendary effect, but the Deliverer itself is unique. Why not just create a new character and play a different faction this time? I mean FO4 is worth the replay. ;)

you do realize the freefall boots are easy to get and you don't need exploits the only hard part is getting the jetpack
It is possible to get onto the back stairs with a jetpack equipped power armor, I have managed it.

I've built a vault under Sanctuary using the glitched chair down by the river. Good luck damaging the power now, attackers.
I'd be interested to know if yours ever gets damaged because I buried a generator in the wall at Vault 88 in a place where no attacks ever occur and it still got damaged and needed repair after an attack on the other side of the complex. So it might be a random factor no matter where your generators are located. 🤔

I always thought that the secret treasure room was just a story that Billie no-nose had come up with as a reason or excuse to go on to that Big Dig mission to try get into Diamond City. But there really actually is a secret treasure room how fascinating.
It's how developers make their games alot of them are like this like Battlefield , COD etc but this is mainly the reason why Bugthesda games are so buggy and they don't fix them .
For me it was i got in secret stash room from the stairs

Have any modders leaped onto the roof of diamond city yet
they put all those things there for when you're jetpacking with power armor, not cause its unfinished or whatever content...

SkooledZone, the DC area is meant to be accessed by jet packs. Bethesda said there's secret areas that only jet packs can access.. Well, GJ Bethesda but it failed.

All these people saying it's from a scraped quest are wrong.. it's the same as using TCL on skyrim and going through walls.. it's just poorly rendered objects and buildings..
