I am so glad you have been strong in fighting for getting the testing that was needed and have a plan for taking care of your health. I know you have a very supportive family and together you will get through it. Thank you for sharing your journey I am sure it is helping other ladies. Sending love and prayers to you.
Lots of prayers being sent. So happy to hear about the results of the genetic testing. I cannot imagine what a relief that was to know. Kudos to you for being brave enough to come and tell your story to all of us. Big hugs 🤗 ❤️🙏🏻
Sending you positive healing vibes. ❤️ My friend recently broke up with her uterus and her quality of life drastically improved. You are so amazing for taking your health in your hands and being your own advocate. Such a great example for your kids.
Hi Kimberly, My prayers will continue for you. You are a strong and so smart when it comes to know body. I’m so happy you took the steps you have and shared them with all of us. Take good care. You have a terrific support system, with your husband, your family and friends and the entire RUclips community. God bless you and your family.
i am so sorry you are having to go thru all this. but you seem to be handling it well. prayers are with you and your family. sounds like you have a great doctors and that is very important.
You’re a very strong woman! I’ll be praying for strength for you Kimberly. I had positive experience with hysterectomy and a very favorable outcome with it. I feel I made a very good decision.
Kimberly, You have been in my prayers ever since your last health video and I will continue to pray. God’s got this my friend. You got this! You are strong and sounds like you have some really great Doctors. Thank God that you listened to your body. Mammograms are so important! I’m so glad you are sharing your story for others to hear. Thank you for the update because I have really been wondering how things were going but didn’t want to ask in the comments. Sending you hugs and prayers! 🤗 🙏🏻
Thank god you fought so hard for yourself. I had a lump removed about 8 years ago. They weren’t concerned about it being cancer, but I was 32 years old and being told I have a “mass” in my boob that shouldn’t be there….yeah get that out of there. My biggest tip for that recovery is bags of frozen peas…the mold perfectly around the breast. I also just had a hysterectomy last year at the age of 40 due to heavy bleeding and pressure from multiple fibroids. My tip for that is to talk to people you know well and your drs, don’t go on websites and Facebook groups, they will scare the crap out of you. I had my uterus, cervix, and tubes removed. Due to the large size of my uterus because of the fibroids they had to do the abdomen cut. My recovery was smooth with no issues and I have not regretted it. Unless people have dealt with the heavy bleeding they do not understand the toll it takes on your everyday life. You are in my thoughts and prayers for all that you are going through
You’re going to be just fine! So many are praying for you! I had my mammogram on Friday. Abnormal because of calcifications, have to go back in six months. I went because of YOU! Thank you for your voice! So, just get all your Holiday/Christmas shopping and decorating done in November and sit back and be pampered! Lol! You got this!!!🙏🏽💯💗
I am so happy you got yours done!!!! Sending you prayers. Yes we were talking about it and I might push it to the new year. My husband said christmas is your favorite holiday. So let’s just enjoy it and do the surgery at the start of the new year. I agreed with him. 🤗
@@_KimberlyHalle I think that sounds like a wonderful plan!!! Christmas is my favorite as well! I have adult children and small grandchildren, but I go all out. Normally 4 Christmas trees and all the other indoor/outdoor decorations! Enjoy!!!!
Hi Kimberly... so glad to hear that you are being well taken care of by your doctors. Having such a great team of doctors, family and friends by your side is the name of the game. Wonderful to hear about Nevaeh, as well! You are much loved by your community of viewers. Stay strong and positive. Prayers continue and you got this! Thank you for the update. Hugs to you!
Praying for you and your family, in particular your kids. As a child I went through a similar situation, and I know it’s a scary time for them. Glad you’re taking such good care of yourself and not putting anything off. God bless.
Sending positive thoughts your way. So happy you found a doctor who listened to you, and is as proactive in your healthcare as you are. You have good kids and a wonderful husband. Please let them take care of you after your surgeries. I had similar issues as far as the super heavy monthly period, which was caused by fibroid tumors (not cancerous). I was lucky that it was only one, but it was so bad that I couldn't leave my house for days. I had a partial hysterectomy (19 years ago) where they leave the ovaries, and haven't looked back. One suggestion I have is to discuss with your GYN what your HRT options are afterwards. There are several over the counter alternatives. It did put me into menopause (had just turned 43), and the hot flashes and night sweats were non-stop.
You will be fine and in my prayers I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago for the same thing you were going through it’s the best decision I’ve ever made I feel great don’t feel anything wishing you blessings upon blessings you got this beautiful 🙏🏼💗👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
GOD is with you hermosa Kimberly , Im 40 and had a hysterectomy 5 months and is the best thing I ever decided to do. Only one advice señorita Kimberly you are not cleaning or anything for whatever time they tell you and you will recover good , lots of blessings!!!!
Sending you lots of prayers of healing. Any situation no matter the what it is all sounds scary. I had a hysterectomy at 28. I had a great experience for the situation it was Adenomyosis. It sounds like you have a great team of doctors working with you. You got this !!
Anybody that I know that has had a hysterectomy has had no complaints. The only complaints I’ve ever heard are the mental block that you really can’t have more kids. And all of these are woman that are past that point. Like WAAAY past…. Lol I think you have such a wonderful outlook, and obviously a great support system, no matter what, things are going to work out great. I do not understand why the genetic testing isn’t just a requirement at a certain age. I would think preventing would be way cheaper, long term, than treating it. What do I know? I am so glad you are happy with your drs and they are listening to you. I am also so glad all your testing came back good. I am sorry you will need surgery, but I am so thankful you can be proactive with it. It’s always scary to go under but the alternative is way more scary. Thank you for the update. I know you are helping so many to advocate for themselves. You do not have to share but really do help by sharing. I did have to laugh at your “don’t tell me your horror stories”!! I would think people would know not to do that! I am praying for you! 💙
I think because I had a procedure for no more babies when Nevaeh was 1 years old I am in a different mind set than most. But I do hear that though that it’s hard for women to come to grips having no more babies even though they were actually done having kids.
Yeah I can see it too. I knew after mine I was done too so don’t think I’d have that issue either. I do get how it’s hard for some though. I giggled because a wonderful lady I worked with was having a full hysterectomy. She made a huge production that her baby making days were over and whatever will she do. She was 64 years old. She was obviously making a joke but I do think deep down she did have to come to terms with it in some ways and that is why she tried to make it “funny”. I think you will do amazing no matter what happens. You have a lot of folks praying for ya and again, such a positive attitude. 💙
Oh Kimberly, hugs to you. I could have written this myself. I went thru the exact health situations. Sending positive vibes your way. If I got thru it so will you.

Sending love and prayers. You are an inspiration to so many, prioritizing your health and well being is the best thing you can do for you and your family. Thank you for sharing with us.
Hi!! I wanted to encourage you regarding the hysterectomy. (Back story: I had thyroid cancer in 2016, and treated…which is how I found your channel) In 2020, I began to have very heavy periods and was absolutely miserable. I was put on low dose birth control to ease my bleeding, but doctor said it was only a bandaid. I needed a hysterectomy. I had my hysterectomy on Jun 15, 2021. My surgery was robotic and only had three small incisions. I was able to go home that same day. I’m so grateful I had it done. It has been a wonderful relief. He said it would eliminate the chance of ovarian cancer, as well as uterine cancer. Two helpful tips for after surgery. 1. Take a stool softener right away, so you don’t hurt yourself. 2. If you get the gas in the belly (I think it’s CO2), use a heating pad on your upper back (NOT on your belly) and I also used a compression garment (like a belly bandit for after you have a baby) to help hold me in. It all helped with the gas pain. Aside from the CO2 pain, that was all that bothered me. I rested and took my pain meds. Now that I’m healed up, it was worth it! I hope and pray your surgery goes well! I hope my words have encouraged you! Hugs from Tulsa, OK!
Hello I was listening to your health update and wanted to give you the following information: I was having heavy periods that lasted seven days + days and the my gynecology suggested to do a uterus ablation. That was the best thing I ever did, it’s been over 10 years and never had a problem again. I hope this information helps. And good luck, hope all goes well.
I don’t usually leave a comment when there is already so many…but just wanted to say how pleased I was to hear that your genetic results came back great…we feel so responsible for the things we may pass on to our children …you continue to pass on only beautiful things.❤️🙏🏻🤗🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕jane
Are you able to do an ablation to help with your period? I’m 31 and after my last baby my periods got heavy and painful I ended up getting this procedure last year and I have not had a period since. My dr had told me it would either lessen it or completely stop it. My opinions were a hysterectomy or the ablation
Praying for you! I went through the same thing in may. I had to have 3 masses removed. Just like you it wasn’t cancer but it had to be removed. You will be fine!!!! You’re strong and smart! Good luck from the bottom of my heart!
Thank you for the update! I want to commend you for putting your story out there ❤️!! Stay strong Kimberly! Sounds like you have wonderful doctors and are getting the best care possible.
Wow, this is a lot to go through. So glad to see how strong you are, which show how united you & your family are. ❤ Plus you put out your meal planning book! Awesome job.
Thank you. Yes I have had a lot going on. The planner, youtube, Instagram, health and every day life. But I am here and smiling and enjoying every day. 🤗💖

Love you 😍💗
Thank you for sharing your story. Prayers for continued good news! My friend who is in her mid 30’s just went through the same thing as you with very positive results. Take care of yourself!
I have to go for a second mammogram soon because they are watching the dense tissue I have. Watching your video has definitely sealed the deal with going for it. I wasn’t gonna go because I’ve already had so much going on. I had two surgery’s last year. I’m just over a lot of it. I had an ablation for my period issues back when I was 35. Never listen to horror stories because it’s not your body. You know what’s best for you. You got this and thank you for sharing your story.
That is great news you will now be going. That is all I hope these videos do is give that push to anyone to get checked, follow up or find doctors they love. 💖
@@_KimberlyHalle awww thank you!!! And bless you for being so proactive in your situation! Fortunately our university here in Utah has an amazing 3-D imaging machine for mammograms and we get the results immediately. It takes a lot of worry out of waiting. I get mine done yearly, in memory of a girlfriends mom in the High Desert who had stage 4. 💕💕
Thank you for the update. Hoping everything goes well and praying for the very best outcome! It sounds like you have some great medical people watching over you.
Hello, thank you for sharing this. Did the Doctor give you any insight to whether the heavy periods contributed to the mass in your breast? I recently had a mammogram during my period and there was a nodule then at the ultra sound the following week it was gone, At the 6 month follow-up mammogram I had my period again and there was a nodule. The Doctor was not concerned and I will go back again in 6 months, but I am curious if the period is contributing to this.
No it’s a mass mixed in the calcification cluster they found. So they tested the mass and the calcifications. Because the way the cluster is it looked like the start of breast cancer
BRCA genes also get passed from fathers to sons and daughters and mothers to daughters and sons. Females are not the only ones to get breast cancer so make sure when we discuss this with our families we make sure the men in our lives know it is important to know to look for signs in their chest area and to make an appointment with their doctor as well. This is such a serious conversation to have with our family and friends and it might save a life.
Sounds like you have good doctors, that is half the battle. I too have strong family history of breast cancer. My genetic test was negative, but my insurance pays for alternating MRI's and mammograms because I'm high risk. You did a great job explaining everything! You're very proactive with your health, so I feel you're going to be just fine. 🙂
Sounds like you have a great surgeon. I have had both a surgically removed breast biopsy and a hysterectomy, you will do just fine. You have a wonderful family to support you and that is half the battle. Positive mind set is the key. The bra they put on me after my breast surgery was like a front closing sport bra (front closing is very very helpful).
@@_KimberlyHalle I would say couple of weeks. It is turning the bra around. Pulling the skin under the band. My stitches were in for 10 days. If you wear an underwire it may be a little longer. Plus I just reach back to unhook so the stretch the arm back also hurt the surgery cite. You will quickly know what movements you will be able to make with little to know pain. I’m not a pain pill user so a little Tylenol for a few days is all I took.
You will be ok I know you will your a strong person kimberly. Glad you found a great doctor that’s going to take good care of you . Keep us in formed on what’s going on from after your surgery ok. I have a doctors appointment October 22nd at 10:30am I have going have a full check up on me so I totally know everything is ok. Have a great day 😊💕❤️💖💗
@@binteyusuf1317 oh ok i mustve missed that part. I had mine for heavy clotting periods and fibroids. Laproscopic robotic with vaginal assist. Its three tiny incisions in the belly. Takes about 1 1/2-2 hours
@@_KimberlyHalle yes i had ten days then it went down to 7 but almost everyday clotting. June i had two periods and that was my last one because i had surgery in july. Good luck! You will be relieved you did it
Will be saying prayers for you girl...I just found out i need a spinal cord surgery tomorrow i just found out last week so I understand the craziness of it all and all the emotions along with it...So I hope all goes well with what you have going on and i know God will take care of this so keep us updated and sending care and love to the fam and strength thru this time..
It is definitely Better To Be Safe Than Sorry in deciding to get any test that you or your physician thinks you should do. MRIs are really amazing in being able to see what they may be looking for. MRIs are used a lot for different health situations. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so this is a great video to help people do what they need done to be and stay healthy. I think it is great that you got BRCA gene test to know where you stand and that you won't pass breast cancer on to Neveah! Alleluia! It is so important to know your genetic background and this is one reason I feel bad for people that have been adopted if they don't have access to the medical history of their biological connections. I had a Hysterectomy when I was 42 and have nothing but positivity about having it done. I had both my son and daughter and had my tubes tied prior and was having bleeding issues along with my hypothyroidism possibly playing a role in the bleeding issues so a hysterectomy for me was a Godsend. My daughter who was in her late teens at the time wanted to know if she could take my place in having the hysterectomy and I told her she couldn't because she had to still pay her debt to society!! LOL LOL Interestingly, she had a hysterectomy around the same age I did. We are all sending good vibes and prayers your way! I know you will keep us posted when you have your surgery in December! 💕💕💕
My prayers will be with you. I had a hysterectomy at 37 and it was the best decision I mean. But do want is best for you and I hope all goes well. Are you going to vlog your recovery?
Thank you. No I don’t think I will. I think I will take that time to just get better and focus on my family. I will have videos already pre-recorded to go up. I will do a after thoughts on it all video but won’t record the actual moments.

Thank you for all the tips!!!
The reason I can’t do that is because I have metal coils. I explain that in my first video
Even if there are a lot of comments I read them all. 💖
Thank you. Yes I was very happy to hear nothing got passed on as that was one of my fears
I'm glad your getting some answers. I will continue to send you my prayers
Thank you
🙏🏼you got this! Positive thinking is key.
Absolutely
Continued prayers for you and your health. I'm glad you have found comfort throughout all this and I'm glad everything will be ok ❤
Thank you so much
Are you able to do an ablation to help with your period? I’m 31 and after my last baby my periods got heavy and painful I ended up getting this procedure last year and I have not had a period since. My dr had told me it would either lessen it or completely stop it. My opinions were a hysterectomy or the ablation
No because I have metal coils in my tubes.
Praying for you! I went through the same thing in may. I had to have 3 masses removed. Just like you it wasn’t cancer but it had to be removed. You will be fine!!!! You’re strong and smart! Good luck from the bottom of my heart!
Thank you so much
Prayers!!🥰🥰🥰
Thank you
All this is so informative. Thank you for sharing. Can you share the birth control you started using to regulate your period?
It no longer is working. Going in for my hysterectomy in a few weeks
Bless you and your family Kimberly!

Hi Kimberly. Good luck on your surgeries, sending prayers🙏 by the way wanted to know if you take vitamins?

Thank you for sharing your story. Prayers for continued good news! My friend who is in her mid 30’s just went through the same thing as you with very positive results. Take care of yourself!
Thank you so much
I have to go for a second mammogram soon because they are watching the dense tissue I have.
Getting my “pumpkins squished” this Thursday. You are in my thoughts…. 💕
Sending you lots of positive thoughts that your pumpkins come out looking clear 🤗
Thank you and yes I do
You will do fine. Your a very strong person. God bless. Many prayers coming your way.

@@_KimberlyHalle Your very welcome. Everything will be just fine.
I’m glad everything came back ok, we will keep you in our prayers. Sending good vibes your way! 💕

You are in my prayers 💕

Prayers for you 😀❤🙏
Thank you
Girl, you have been through a lot! I will continue to remember you in my prayers!
It has been a crazy time for me for sure 🤣. Thank you
Sending u my prayers and a great big hug 🤗 I know that everything will work out again lots of ❤️🤗❤️

Very good point. My husbands side of his family is huge and male breast cancer has never been a issue. But you brought up a great point.
I love you and you and God had got this. I will and have been praying and thinking of you and your family.🙏♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️
Thank you so much
Sounds like you have good doctors, that is half the battle. I too have strong family history of breast cancer. My genetic test was negative, but my insurance pays for alternating MRI's and mammograms because I'm high risk. You did a great job explaining everything! You're very proactive with your health, so I feel you're going to be just fine. 🙂
Thank you so much. Yes I just want to make sure I am around for a long time for my husband and kids
You will be fine… all the way around! Yay for Braca! And if you have the hysterectomy- you will be so happy! My gut feeling…but God has you in this!
Thank you
Sounds like you have a great surgeon. I have had both a surgically removed breast biopsy and a hysterectomy, you will do just fine. You have a wonderful family to support you and that is half the battle. Positive mind set is the key. The bra they put on me after my breast surgery was like a front closing sport bra (front closing is very very helpful).
Oh thank you for the tip. When where you able to wear a regular back closing bra again?
@@_KimberlyHalle I would say couple of weeks. It is turning the bra around. Pulling the skin under the band. My stitches were in for 10 days. If you wear an underwire it may be a little longer. Plus I just reach back to unhook so the stretch the arm back also hurt the surgery cite. You will quickly know what movements you will be able to make with little to know pain. I’m not a pain pill user so a little Tylenol for a few days is all I took.
That was very informative, thanks for the info.
You’re welcome
You will be ok I know you will your a strong person kimberly. Glad you found a great doctor that’s going to take good care of you . Keep us in formed on what’s going on from after your surgery ok. I have a doctors appointment October 22nd at 10:30am I have going have a full check up on me so I totally know everything is ok. Have a great day 😊💕❤️💖💗
That’s great news. Praying everything goes good for you
@@_KimberlyHalle thanks let you know how my appointment goes when after I have the appointment ok
Hi i had a hysterectomy at 37. All went well! I am confused on why they are asking you to get one though? If its a mass in breasts
For her excessive bleeding
@@binteyusuf1317 oh ok i mustve missed that part. I had mine for heavy clotting periods and fibroids. Laproscopic robotic with vaginal assist. Its three tiny incisions in the belly. Takes about 1 1/2-2 hours
Yes I had heavy periods, twice a month lasting 10 days each. Right now birth control is controlling it but in the end I will need a hysterectomy
@@_KimberlyHalle yes i had ten days then it went down to 7 but almost everyday clotting. June i had two periods and that was my last one because i had surgery in july. Good luck! You will be relieved you did it
@@_KimberlyHalle and i declined birth control because after 35 risk of blood clotting is higher and side effects
Having a great medical team is so important.
It really is very important
Will be saying prayers for you girl...I just found out i need a spinal cord surgery tomorrow i just found out last week so I understand the craziness of it all and all the emotions along with it...So I hope all goes well with what you have going on and i know God will take care of this so keep us updated and sending care and love to the fam and strength thru this time..
Oh I am so sorry to hear about your surgery you need!!! I will send you all my prayers it goes well and you have a fast recovery

You got this lovely ❤️Will keep you in my prayers 🙏
Thank you
Praying for you ❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you
Prayers you got this!
Thank you
It is definitely Better To Be Safe Than Sorry in deciding to get any test that you or your physician thinks you should do.
Thank you so much
@@_KimberlyHalle You are very welcome!
