I've probably watched 20 reaction videos to this track and this is the best yet. I love how shocked you were by their musicianship...I was with you all the way
His shirt by itself already qualified him as the best reactor I've seen so far haha. He actually understands what he's witnessing and how insane it is.
Loved your reaction ~lol~ I have a degree in music and toured and worked in the music industry most of my career. Yeah, these guys are above and beyond talented. Glad to see you appreciate them as much as I do. They are truly amazing.
Your reaction was very genuine. Your stank face was exactly my reaction when first listening to this masterpiece. Everyone is displaying a masterclass on their instrument. Usually, a sad song would make me cry. Still, I get emotional listening to this epic performance because the level of musicianship and the dedication to their craft is so humbling. I want to thank and hug them all for inspiring me to improve my game.
They've said that when they set out to write a song they don't bring their instruments - just pad and paper. Once they've designed it, they add the instruments. All of them are world class. Amazing.
Interesting, ey? I always think that even on their paper pads, their songs would look more like a jazz-rock-funk SYMPHONY! 😉 Especially in this track, -or their Samsung Galaxy ringtone version!!
Yes it's real. Arron writes almost all the music including Henricks BASS lines. Jonah usually does ALL the vocals. They are mates from the Royal College of Music Stockholm where they studied composition and Jazz. You need to dig much deeper. They are musicians for musicians but accessible to all.
I saw them on Easter Sunday and it was one of the best concert experiences I've had. It's incredible hearing this song in particular live, ESPECIALLY the bass. Henrik was definitely in his bag that night, as all of them were.
Amazing to them live! I was lucky to see them last week in L.A. I saw an interview (not sure from how long so) where Henrik said this is his favorite song to play live. Not sure if that's changed, but I imagine he still loves it.
@@JodiKurland well he gets to chill, just a little bit 😉, and listen to his friends doing some amazing solos! It would be such a buzz, performing this piece live on stage… 🔥💥🔥
This was a complete refreshing surprise 😮 I thoroughly enjoyed the music 🎶, lyrics and of course your enthusiasm and reaction to this song 🎶. Once again perfect reaction from the king of reaction influencers ❤❤❤❤❤ 9:17
The string instrument you hear almost all the way through is a Brazilian berimbau. Great reaction to one of the greatest bands in the world. A Swedish group of friends playing together since grade school, through their time at the Royal Music Acadamy in Stockholm. They blew up about 10 years ago when Quincy Jones added them to his management team. They produce everything themselves. You are just beginning a wild, unreal ride down the Dirty Loops rabbithole. Enjoy! 💙💛
I never get tired of the DL first listen reactions ;-) ...and this is prly my most loved song by them - btw... they perform this stuff live, no problem lol
It’s so funny to listen to your reaction 😂😂😂. But I see that you appreciate the music of Dirty Loops, and this is the most important thing 🎶🖖🏻🫶🏻. These three guys from Sweden are so talented - and funny at the same time. Thanks for your reaction and greetings from Germany. Peace 😎💚🌻
Pro level? Dirty Loops are Post Pro level, man! 😂🤣😂 Yeah, loved your story about THAT maths genius kid. That’s how it really feels, for most of us… And after being blown away by Hit Me, you’d thing that was the ultimate, but a few years later they come back with having worked shit out ;) Wonder what your friend, the producer, would say to this ;) Hope your headache wasn’t there to stay. Check out their track “World On Fire”, a mad flirt with MJ ☺️ as well as “Breakdown” and “Rock You”. Or for some light relief “Coffee Break is Over”, -I’d love to see your face when listening to that one 🤣 Cheers bro 👍🤘✌️
Oh yeah and that instrument in the background, going all the way through, it’s a Brazilian berimbau. Dirty Loops have an excellent percussionist on board, Andreas Ekstedt, who might be responsible for coming up with a lot of Latin-style percussion on their tracks. Just guessing.
@@ishort0967 thanks, and looking back I now remember seeing and liking all of those reactions! Too good ☺️ Will have to dig for some of the tracks he hasn’t yet done ✨
Also interesting: you’ve said the way Jonah plays the keys is like he sings, almost like an extension of the way he sings his riffs. I’ve heard other people feel the same way about that. And someone guessed that he’s swallowed a keyboard, the way he sings such clean riffs ;) But to me it’s more how he expresses his emotions in the same way, whether he plays or sings…. Great comment 👍
This is my first of your vids and I'm already hooked. Love ya man. Keep up the good work. "I don't even know what I'm listening to bro" Freaking hilarious 😂😂😂. Already in my top reaction channels
Aliens :D Thank you for being appropriately mind-blown by this. That comment about Jonah makes a lot of sense - that is exactly how a lot of good Jazz musicians write melodies. Sing it in their mind and then play it at the same time. I bet you could sing any however insane melody to him (and likely any of them 3) and he'd play it back to you exactly, probably making it better by adding improvised stuff over the top in the process lol
I saw them in Salt Lake City the night after they played Denver. At one point Henrik asked the crowd how many are musicians and about half raised their hands. 😀
"My brain was searching for other songs to forget this shit!" xD lmao man, that's too relatable. These guys are a mix of utter bliss and utter depression to me whenever I listen to them too
As THAT guy in the math and science class... Pretty much. They're too good for their own good and I lurvs them. (Btw, if you don't know Bela Fleck & The Flecktones, I recommend. Another fusion of everything group with top technical musicians and an inhuman bassist, just like Dirty Loops)
Check out all Dirty Loops reactions 😊 :

I saw them do this live a couple days ago - it's pretty surreal to watch them improvise at this level while throwing in surprises for everyone.
I saw them on Easter Sunday and it was one of the best concert experiences I've had. It's incredible hearing this song in particular live, ESPECIALLY the bass. Henrik was definitely in his bag that night, as all of them were.
am very jealous sweetness, glad you had an epic time!
Whoa Jamila, that’s awesome to hear! Yep I’m jealous too, but super glad for you 👍✌️🤘👍
My dream, to be hearing them live one day….
He ALWAYS is in the pocket like all 3 (4) of them live!!!
Amazing to them live! I was lucky to see them last week in L.A. I saw an interview (not sure from how long so) where Henrik said this is his favorite song to play live. Not sure if that's changed, but I imagine he still loves it.

You can make your own copy of the score sheet. Take a fresh, clean, piece of white paper. Spill ink all over it. Voila! Dirty Loops Sheet music!!
😂.... annoying kid...that totally cracked me up!
They're unbelievable good, talented musicians & funny guys!
Imagine a whole concert!
Muchas gracias y saludos desde Valencia ✌️💚

LOVE the metaphor, "The annoying kid in class, who knew more than the teacher". Touchdown, thats them😮
Great man, keep it up :)
That song is a clinic.🤯🤯

Great reaction 🔥
The 'banjo' sound you are alluding to is really like the berimbau (see Nana Vasconcelos). Great reaction!
You are so right with that analogy! 😂 Except it's hard to be to annoyed, because they are so damn nice & funny!
You get 5 out of 5 for that analysis! A.
☺️‼️
That constant you hear is a Brazilian Berimbau. A single string instrument!
Nice reaction, i eas the same first time😮😮
Love your reactions to Dirty Loops
☺️‼️. Thank you for the appreciation..
7:15 - Your reaction! 🔥
This is 🔥🤯…I think my brain may have hemorrhaged! Thanks for posting this fantastic reaction ☺️❤️‼️

The harmonies are soo exciting, too little said about that. I think i know why. It's haard. To hear and understand.
The piano solo reminds me of an old 80s song written by Rodney Franks called Felix Leo as it has the same jazz vibe. These guys are great musicians.
Tower of power of our time?
I watched them murder it last night in Denver, I'm a 50 year old musician, and they are some of the best musicians i have ever seen PERIOD!!
I saw them in Salt Lake City the night after they played Denver. At one point Henrik asked the crowd how many are musicians and about half raised their hands. 😀
"My brain was searching for other songs to forget this shit!" xD lmao man, that's too relatable. These guys are a mix of utter bliss and utter depression to me whenever I listen to them too
They were just jamming...
You need to watch and read the whole credits section in full-screen size - there is some hilarious stuff in them!
Not a banjo. A berimbau. Brazilian instrument.
It's Pat Metheny, bro,
As THAT guy in the math and science class... Pretty much. They're too good for their own good and I lurvs them. (Btw, if you don't know Bela Fleck & The Flecktones, I recommend. Another fusion of everything group with top technical musicians and an inhuman bassist, just like Dirty Loops)
The intro instrument… I think it’s a ukelate.
