I often lose my mojo and find myself in a rut so I turn to youtube and watch some videos. And, l have to tell you once I watch one of your videos I find myself crafting in no time. You inspire me so much. Thankyou. I love your style of crafting. It is just perfect. Cheers.
Wonderful idea! I tried it with old letter stickers which weren't adhering without adding glue. Now I've been able to make a great background for a page that I know will turn out great. Thank you.
I really, really love the way you talk through the project steps. I'm a beginner and you explain basics and how to boost them to the next level. Mine never come out exactly right but always enjoy the process - thanks for your work🎉
I believe she is using a matte medium gel. I use liquitex or ranger brand. It's like modge podge but with a thicker body. Spreads beautifully and can also be used as a sealant top coat. Enjoy
Absolutely LOVE this page! Would love to see more videos just like this from start to finish simple, easy instructions, and not too many complicated materials or techniques! Just fabulous!❤❤❤
I agree. When I lose my mojo I think of you first. I don't know how I get distracted but then I remember you and your beautiful work. And it makes me so happy thank you for sharing
I love your teaching style! You get right down to business without telling us your philosophy of life. You mention alternatives to what you’re using. And you show everything at normal speed with a great explanation of what you’re doing! So thank you so much for these great lessons 🥰🥰🥰
I am very very new and have just been shopping for supplies. I made my first page which is an 8x12 and it is plain and simple. The next page, not so well. I got lost in the color matching and layering and lost my vision; so I ordered more supplies! After I watched a few of your videos, I realized I am trying to fill a large page and not using a smaller page for my design. I love how you don’t waste time guiding your viewers and you just play and not over think the goal. I over think everything so this is a hard trait to over come but you have eased the strain. I forget all of the tools I have to create and you have refreshed my ideas. Thank you
Going to have a go at my version of this page today. My Mother and I are going to have a crafty day together. Thanks for sharing your videos as always :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you for mixed media videos. This is truly a page done in Vicky journal style and at the same time very unusual with the bold block letters and ephemera. What a lovely combination! A great page! I love your mixed media projects.
I’ve missed watching you create gorgeous pages. I’m eagerly waiting for your Wanderlust 2024 lesson to come up. How overjoyed I am that I came upon this tutorial today. I will make a page because of this inspiration this weekend. As usual GREAT JOB ☑️
What a fun and marvelous idea. I bet your creative mind is working overtime. This would make an original birthday card, putting "happy birthday" letters this way, but possible for the recipient to easily read it. You are such an inspiration to me, and I bet to so many, so keep it coming. Bless you😘 PS. Just as I posted my comment, I thought of putting all kinds of letters, but making "happy birthday" letters in different shades.
Again another spectacular design page. You never fail to create gorgeous layouts. You’re my inspiration when I find I’m lost at what to create. Always come back to watching you. So glad that you’re doing your journal layouts again. Keep up the creativity and awesomeness.
Hi Vicky! I love Mixed Media Tuesdays! I love when you do art journal layouts! I love when you use a new technique or a twist on an old technique or even your trusted day-in-day-out stand by techniques that are iconic Vicky… TODAY… your fun background technique is perfect for something I’ve been thinking about (I couldn’t tell you how often that’s happened over the years!). I’m going to use the valet parking tickets and wristbands I’ve been saving recently to use as the background texture for a journal layout. I’m hoping to do it sooner than later. Thanks for all you do to encourage and inspire creativity. Have a great day! 🙂☕️💕
Oh Vicky, I love that grid stamp! It has became one of my personal favorites for backgrounds. I've used it for screen in a house, for a background when a chicken was the focal point and when I just want a little texture here and there in the background. It is so versatile.
Hi Vicki I’m glad to have mixed media Tuesday in my life. I started a new journal your 5x4. This gives me an excuse to just start play without needing a card at the end. Thank you.
Thank you so very much Vicky for such wonderful tips! I enjoy watching you so much and think you are an excellent teacher dear!! I greatly appreciate your inspiration! 😍🥰☺
I am so happy that mixed media Tuesdays are back. I have been struggling to get back into my crafting after an extremely hectic festive season but you've made this look doable and fun so going to play around with the techniques you've used today. Thank you for always inspiring me with your art ❤
Love this Vicky you are such a blessing to us all with your beautiful sharing of your techniques and ideas and creativity, iv been in a lack of mojo lately and i think this my pull me out, so thank you ☺️
This is really cool!! I LOVE the colors you used and the ephemera is perfect! Can't wait to try this with all kinds of die cuts!! I think different basic shapes could be fun!
I love the letters for texture in the back ground! You always have such great ideas. I really enjoyed this today as I do all of your videos. I'm so happy that mixed media Tuesday is back...makes my day!🌻🌞
This is such a fun page? Im so inspired to try it for Day 6 of 100DayProject - I already had my plan for today mapped out, but I have such a great idea I want to try - totally sparked by this tutorial. You are so talented and inspiring. Thank you. ☺️
I love your channel that's why I subscribed but now I found out there's a bonus. I just saw that you will be teaching Wanderlust 2024 Week 13! I can't wait for the class although I will be traveling, I'm so looking forward to seeing what the class will entail so I can see if I can do it on the road!! If not, then for sure when I get home. How fun can't wait!💞💞

Do you know what glue she's using also is that firm jessop the white paste im beginner fed up loosing money buying wrong glue.

Glad my video helped you! As a beginner try a smaller journal, make a 6x6 one. My last journal videos are on one of those showing my basic process.

Отличный результат! Спасибо за идеи!
Love this mixed media layout. At first glance it could be embossing folders that you used instead of die cut letters. Really arty. Thank you Vicky. x
