One thing I have to note is that unfortunately this is essentially just the downloaded Twitch vod and not the recorded/edited version I originally planned on uploading. That means that quality isn't as crisp as usual, and I wasn't able to balance and process the audio the way I normally do. For whatever reason my software just COULD NOT render the footage. It froze over & over again no matter what I tried so I had to settle for this. Hopefully you guys enjoy anyway and are able to take something away from it as well!
I mean there are worlds of skill difference between blue and red ranks. One is achievable by newbies and the other only with over 1000hours of grinding
i think that in tekken you really don't feel like you are really good until you reach the highest tier of ranks. Because the more you rank up, the more you realize that the world is a big place and that there are a shitton of strong fighters out there. You might think you are okay, decent at the game. To someone else you are an ant and for alot of others you are a elephant. This is something i have come to realize over my 3 years of playing tekken. Started very late in t7's lifespan and got to fight alot of very experienced players early on so i got a feel for what makes a player good and what makes a player bad. After all that it's just practise until you get it, it takes time and we are in no means in any hurry. Let it take the time it takes and enjoy the ride, because if you happen to fall in love with this amazing series of games you got alot of learning and fun stuff to do ahead of you.

Just a little tip (for pad specifically) for those who are struggling with Just Frame Sky Rocket If you want an easier method rather than trying to force both of your hands to coordinate it, you can bind 1+4 to one of your left side shoulder buttons (whichever you prefer) and this will make it significantly easier. It's much easier coordinating timing with one hand rather than both Keep in mind that this method isn't free, and you will still have to time it properly, this is just an easier method
Seeing Asuka as Gojo made me realize that Law would make a great Toji. Love the video btw bro, very new to Tekken so watching RUclipsrs like you helps motivate me to pick up the controller when i can and try my luck. its slow but i'll get there eventually.
A total treat to get this collab, especially for a Hwoarang main. A lot of great insight that I can't wait to implement! Hurt my wrist learning all of K-Wiss's combos though, so waiting for my leverless to arrive so I can get back to the climb 💪
Id love to see this as a weekly~ish thing! I was able to take a lot from this to apply to my own game play that took me from yellow/orange to red, so i'd love to see more.
Kwiss is one of the greatest tekken players in history. You heard it here first. Once this game is fleshed out, I think he's gonna dominate the offline scene.
Nice video, alot of tech I didnt know, I had issues with feedback with my inputs on ps5 controller, my savior was the controller settings button test feature, you can see exactly when the game registers your down forward input, now I can electric uppercut pretty often

I landed the just frame sky rocket thrice in a row and drop it every now and then. Yes, blue sparks and everything on both player 1 and player 2 sides. All I did was press the kick button on the neutral input and do it as fast as possible as if I'm attempting a perfect electric.

But you are a better hwoarang than me in regards to defence, reads, your combo and wall damage. I’m away at my mums this week so cant practice 😢 you will be well up into purple ranks after this and I’ll still be stuck trying to get ruler and learning arcade stick.
F 2 is plus 9 and puts you in mix, why is kings 2 1 any different? Because it’s a grab? Like you can’t break or duck grabs though, it’s the same amount of mix as other characters but instead of a full combo it’s a grab which if you guess right or mash 1 on most kings you won’t even have to deal with it, you guys say king is sooo great but in reality he’s as good as everyone else
They need to fix the ranking system. I am Raijin atm but i am very well aware I shouldnt be in this rank. Demote should bring you back to start point at previous rank and promo match shouldnt give too much points. We also should be obligated to finish the best of 3 sets so people cannot do one and dones. If you accept the match and leave after 1 set, you should lose the bof3.

Keep at it and it will click watch Kwiss videos he has a prior training video with someone’s that’s a begginer probably orange/red ranks at a push. Failing that check out a streamer called frontier (search frontier hwoarang) his cheese videos are insane he’s taught me a lot from complete novice (didn’t know about d34 strings) it’s only tekken seven techs coz he’s not released anything for 8 yet but I think a lot of it translates

I ended up going stick coz playing pad for a year has given me carpel tunnel and trigger finger that wont heal
