Man speed is such an amazing coach. I'm way lower rank/level than Lotus but these coaching sessions have been so valuable to my improvement, a lot of the stuff applies to any level and Speed explains it so well and makes you realise concepts that seem intuitive and obvious once you know them but, are really hard to actually stumble onto on your own. I was thinking of booking a coaching with him myself but he's on a break right now, def gonna be one of the firsts after he opens it up again. Great video!
Honestly this was some of the most helpful advice I've picked up. One thing that's bothered me since I started this game is that even when I'm doing really well I seem to choke at the end to someone I know is much worse than me fundamentally because I let my foot off the gas and try too hard to think or worry about what they're doing instead of just executing my game plan as mercilessly as possible. Every opportunity I give them to fight back can go south very fast so this really made me lock in on my pressure. Turning my brain off and going on autopilot until the next round legit has worked absolute wonders in fixing my habits of overthinking myself out of an easy win
I'm actually the opposite I focus to much on my game plan that sometimes I don't pay enough attention to what my opponent is doing I usually adjust but still I do need to pay more attention also I play to calculated sometimes so I might get clipped before I can execute my game plan cause some just whiffing on the air so now I've started just whiff punishing alot and it's help I never win the spacing game I'd say that's my biggest weakness right next to reactions

These have been helping out so much! This and phiDX's videos have been rounding out my gameplay. I've been practicing my JSFR more and even though I've stagnated rank wise, I feel like i'm getting better, thanks!
No matter what age i am Tekken will always be a part of my life don't matter who uploads if its Tekken imma always be around i enjoyed watching previous matches this was a good idea to be in the video
Man literally yesterday I had a realization I was being too passive in this game. I’m only Tenryu rank with Leo been back and forth to almost purple but I went on a slump got demoted down to Shinryu almost Genryu losing to people I know I can beat. It got to me and I just said F it and started giving in to BS people do on me so I started pressing buttons, getting way more aggressive and abusing that db 41 and going into lightning glare every chance I got and next thing I know I went on a 12 game win streak, highest streak I’ve had yet on this game….all that defensive humble ish is done in this game
I know this is a long shot, but if you ever wanna just play some long sets. Id love to play a higher level Hwoarang.. I’m a Bushin Leo main and would love the MU help. I’d say I’m pretty casual
When I first started with tekken tag tournament which was my first tekken hworang was my first character then eddy after him was yoshi i like the characters i don't see too many people using because you will love to confuse players mixing matching unorthodox combos 😂😂
