Yo Jedd in the shed …That opening tune was..SWEET 👍. .It would go great with a margarita..while sitting back and looking at the white sand and the blue water at Mexico Beach …Keep on keeping on 😎🌴🎸
I thought of that Tom Waits song as soon as you started playing. There os an awesome interview on here with Joe Gore on how he played his guitar parts on Going Out West, well worth a look of you're interested. Awesome playing Jedd. All the best
It’s so strange that when growing up a lot of us owned those old Teisco or 70s Teisco made Silvertones because our parents couldn’t afford to buy us anything else. But what we didn’t realize was that they were so unique and cool. Instead…if you’re like me I’d fall asleep looking at Fender Strats and Teles in catalogs. But those old budget affordable guitars are becoming useful tools with their own tonal character.
In my guitar playing life Japan had a big footprint in it. In the 60s it was under the Christmas tree guitars. In the seventies I was drunk. And in the 80s Japan gave us poor peaple a chance to own great guitars.
Ahhh killin' me, used to have an SS2 in a crazy cool bronze/gold metallic original finish. It was beat to hell and needed frets so I launched it a few years later for what I paid. One funny thing about these fiddles that I remembered.. the headstocks are so long that when restringing you almost don't have enough length on the high E to get 1-2 wraps around the peg post. It's a great triumph when you get it on there 😂
You’ve become my favorite player. Everything you play has a vibe and is creative! What’s three records you would suggest to listen to for the killer vibe instinct?!?!
That Teisco sounds as funky as it looks. Definitely unique sounding and contains what may be Teisco's 2 greatest contributions...the goldfoil pickup and the square pole pickup. You are using them to great effect. Cheers Jedd!
That guitar sounds great Jedd!! I have 30 something I just can't let go! LOL Everything doesn't have to be 59 LPB-ish to keep. Took me awhile to realize that, and I let some pretty nice ones go. 8( Thanks mate!! 8) --gary
One of the coolest looking guitars I’ve seen. Some guitars can end up kitsch when trying to pull this kinda look off. Any plans on visiting Europe to do any gigs. ‘The states is difficult for me. I’m from London England, but anywhere in Europe I’d certainly make it. Amazing guitarist. Only recently found yourself Guthrie trapp, and uncle Larry. I’m 52 and I thought I’d seen great guitarist, thought also that ilk of class, had disappeared. Then you three come along, and best of all give it all out there. Ya all transparent, about how ya play, open freely give advice. Can’t praise ya all enough.
Hi, I hope your spirit is strong. I just picked up two of those goldfoil pickups and I'm searching for a body, neck, and electronics for a low C tuned slide guitar. Great playing!

Jedd has a unique style that is connected to his soul. Man, I wish I had that. It’s dark, sweet, and dreamy. Love love love his sound.

That would have been the most amazing and congenial Joe Gore who played on Hold On.

Tricky little thumb strum. It adds nicely to the vibe of the tune. Cool thing to share. Thanks
Great playing, as always, Jedd! Thanks for that. Ian

Great video Jedd! Thanks for sharing 🎸🤘😎🤘
As always, thanks for posting. 😎🤓
Now that's a really cool tone. Great sound Jedd
Wow. The type of tone that transports you..Ethereal. What effect are you using for the Chorus / Vibrato Jedd?
Always good to hear you play. Interesting guitar!

Thanks for the new strumming technique
Nice one dude, beautiful playing again... You will kill the gig no doubt
That's a cool thumb upstroke technique. The Teisco sounds good but it would look right at home next to a flying squirrel.
Greazy Frisell
Good-day Jedd! :)
Is a spiritual battle brother. Some players want you but you’re already taken;)

What amp are you playing through? Is all that retro tone coming from the guitar? Thanks!
This sounds so cool! What kinda tuning are you using?
Ambidextrous are we??!
That guitar could use a bigger head stock.
