Andrew McKenna is joined by the former England bowler Alex Tudor and the former IPL batter Abhishek Jhunjhunwala to look back at the second T20 between India and England in Chennai, as England go 2-0 down in the five-match series with a two-wicket defeat. They discuss more problems for England with the bat, an unbeaten match-winning half-century from India batter Tilak Varma, and they hear from both Jos Buttler and Suryakumar Yadav.

Condition didn't help england but still they bowled 19.2 overs to india so its moral victory
Harry brook said that due to chennai weather and sea beach noises English players faced problems in batting😂
Did he really said that?
@lonewolfe2502 understand the sarcasm, but he had similar excuse after 1st t20
@@lonewolfe2502🤦
Array bc.... yeh kya DP 😂😂
Did he complain about the horrible stench and smell from koovam river?
generational talent prook dancing on spin 😁😁😁
He is an amazing batsman brother.
But yea we just outspun him.
Funny thing is when any ind batsmen Score runs in ind everyone says let's see how he play in Aus, Eng but called Brook Generational talent who didn't play in ind or Aus only perform in flat deck
@@snehalkhatri9357Basically Gill ≈ Brook
He is a good batsman who just needs to play good against spin
That prook got that 'Generational' tag after amassing runs on flattest of wickets in Paxtan and NZ😁
Varun Chakravarti is the main player who gave breakthrough each time
Jofra archer gave away 60 runs. People need to realise high pace doesn’t mean good bowling
Dear england don't import foreign coach import foreign captain 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Eoin morgan 😂😂😂
Ya😂@@-abhi
Liam Plunkett was a great player with bat and ball skills in the team and was a smart cricketer
No offence but the discussion where Jarrod is involved are more interesting than others.
Its a weird analysis this, but then again this is talksports. You are bowling 150kmph short balls when the straight boundaries are 55m , you can't really be surprised batters are looking to top edge it for 6. Its a valid shot in 2025
Chepauk straight boundary is 75 meters .
@ not both sides. And it was always easier to hit straight
@@Sree99441 mate 55-60 meter sixes were easily clearing the boundary. I've been there. Stop waffling
@@Sree99441when you say straight boundary is 75m. It’s from the crease. So when calculating the back boundary remove 20m pitch as well. So back would be 55. Simple maths
Exactly it's a part of T20 cricket now. I don't understand commentators fixation with use of words like unlucky around these situations.
It's not unlucky the batter took a risk and it worked out decently the bowler needs to do better.
Same for inside edges on the stumps ,the batter failed to meet the ball from the middle and will pay the price.
BROOK AND GILL BOTH FLAT TRACK BULLY TOTALLY EXPOSED CARRER END LOADING 😂😂😂
They send THUNDERBOLTS
Apart from Duckett and Salt I don't think any other batter can do anything different. Brook and Livingstone are incapable of reading leg spin. One strategical change could be to exploit middle overs with Duckett who plays spin well and new ball with Brook. India is playing 1 specialist pacer they can exploit this in death overs with wickets in hand.
Rajkot can be different.
Indian team might take shami.
@@Yeaahh2 I think we should save him till champions trophy. Because India already won 2 matches. So we have almost won the series. Why risk him giving injury before champions trophy?
@@lonewolfe2502 he hasn't played international cricket since 2023 and needs some matches to get back in rhythm.
@@physco4641he should play the ODIs not the t20s . We need him in 50 overs . If ,it is an if ,if india is not playing too much series with other infernational teams then he should play every match that he wants to play regardless of format,so he will be ready to play with international teams till champions trophy. He is doing his best since he cameback from injury, he is actually performing like good all rounder that make his team win the matches.
Moral victory for the English again i guess!!😂😂😂
They should have use spinner more..... Livingston would have easily do more overs..
Required rate should be 8.3, no? And not 8.8
It has been bothering me why it showed 8.8
The mystery of Adil Rashid - His parents were born in Pakistan. Which means extraordinarily high scrutiny for his visa, and they could always deny it. So maybe teams don't want to go through that drama
carse should have been played for england 10 years ago
NO PAK ROADS NO 300 FOR BROOK 😢😢😂
People rate Brook really high but I just don’t see it. He dominates on flat pitches but the moment the pitch does something especially spin iv seem him be clueless
RASHID performs his worst in IPL
This is exactly England's problem. If you have the best players, how do do you never win. England is like the arsenal of the cricket world. Best players, apparently and always an excuse.
And in my all honesty ,they don't have best players.
Butler and rashid is the only 2 who would make world 11.
In t20
No team is choosing wood or archer in their world 11.
Salt can be part too
@KICK839 that's my entire point, you overrate your players. Be it football or cricket. If they're so good why do they never win. My man here is comparing Rashid with Rashid Khan who is infinitely the better player. Wood and archer have nothing on the best, be it Cummins bumrah or anyone else. They're just average, no problem there. But no point calling them the best in the world.
In Rehan Ahmed Enhland may have just found a like for like replacement for Rashid
he got small fingers
Adil rashid problem is fitness. if he run around saved runs , he will be automatic pick in IPL. Its not substance that count but appeance of substance. he bowl like he is not there
England will never learn that their bazzball batting won't work in India. Indian spinners playing in IPL are trained to control and take wickets against such Bazzball batting. Didn't they learnt anything from last odi worldcup? If i was a coach, i would just tell the top order to take their time till 15 overs & score atleast 120-130. After 15 overs, take your chances against pacers & try to score as many runs as possible. Things get easy once batsmen plays enough deliveries.
Moeen ali was picked, Not only picked but he is top all rounder spot. So its not muslim issue. India pick anyone who has talent and become USABLE.
Huh? When did any of these guys said it's a muslim issue?
@@Am-zf3gq You need to bring two dimension. fielding and bowling.
Some indian bowlers only bring like chahal but he is indian. He has more spots.
Foreign player has 4 spots so you need to bring more.
if he hit more 6s then he will be automatically picked.
England need to replace top 3 batsman. England almost won. if not Tilak england could have won by 50
Ifs and Butts
If not for buttler...eng would hve been all out fir 140
2nd game was great. Mainly because so many balls were 150kmph. we saw abishek and sanju cant handle 150 kmph.
Also carse born in 1995 means he is a kryptonite for SKY. That means sky will do nothing in this series.
It's T20 Gents. Get over it. Move on.
Not when England wins it I guess…get over yourself
As if England is a great ODI side or a test side outside England lol
