Not a European football fan, But man Jason and the cast are great
This show makes me laugh out loud and then cry, then laugh, then cry, all in the span of minutes. It’s truly incredible. The funeral episode in season two is the perfect example of that. It’s just so good
i love the fact that it not only focused on those supporting characters creating their own banners with the word "believe" but it also ted and beard's reactions. i was even happier to see that sam, dani, and isaac were given their own moments to create their own banners as i'd like to think that these characters have been promoted to main characters which is a good thing as i loved the arc those 3 had in the second season. i don't want nate to die. he's just misguided and is being used by rupert who is the real villain of the series.
Nate has just lost his way. He’s the Darth Vader to Rupert’s Palpatine.
Time to win the fucking league
I also really appreciate the fact that we just didn't hear anything about the 3rd season for a while and then with no heads up, on valentines day, they put out a 1 minute teaser with zero new footage in it and they're like 'yeah it's coming out 1 month from now'. That's it. They trust the audience, the community around the show enough to not be furious about this sudden, weird marketing move.

Ted Lasso shows why Hollywood was so dumb to ignore soccer so long. It is the number 1 most watched show on Apple by a long way and the first time I have seen a Hollywood production about soccer in a more authentic way. Even Welcome to Wrexham is the biggest documentary on Hulu and Disney+ internationally. If you soccer they have clearly based many of the characters on real players and real stories from soccer. Soccer is the number sport in nearly every continent and is the number 2 sport for Americans under 30. There is a bigger soccer loving market for great productions about soccer. That is why I say it was stupid to remake basketball movies Space Jam 2and White Men Can’t Jump in 2023 when Baseball has nowhere near the popularity now that it had globally in Michael Jordan era 1990s. If they had made Space Jam 2 with soccer players that movie would have been 100 times bigger. You need only compare followers of top soccer players to American sports guys and they yanks have nowhere near as many followers

Soccer is the least important thing about ted lasso. You could replace it with basketball, hockey or baseball and the show would be equally great. It's so replaceable that we barely see them play.
@@bipolarewok but the character and storylines are based on real players and real things that happened in soccer. If you know soccer you can see all the things they took from the real games.

The only thing I needed from this teaser was the release date and it's not far away! 🥳 Loved it because I don't need any trailer spoilers for the new season - I'm gonna watch it as soon as it hits AppleTV! Such a wonderful series.
The ending of season 2 was a shot of the ripped up “BELIEVE” poster.
I was late to the show. Didn't start watching till half way through season 2 airing. Heard so may loving it. I didn't know anything about football. But loved the cast. Especially Juno Temple. Been one of my favorite actresses of all time. But just didn't watch. Then I did. And my goodness do I love it. Made me a fan of football and some of the funniest and heart felt things I've ever seen. How is it possible to not like this show? I get it. Not everything is for everyone. That's fair. But if a show existed that every person on earth would love, it's this show.
The arc of Nate is just opposite of all the others. Rebecca; bad to good. Roy; assh*le to cuddle bear. Nate; underrated to assh*le. But he will turn around. And that is the Ted Lasso effect.
Nate is worse than Theon Greyjoy.
