thank you. most helpful video so far. always been a spinning rod person. but decided in my OLD age to try to master the bait caster. This helped me understand some of the things I was missing with getting the settings right.
I was taught to have the Spool tensioner tight so the lure doesn’t move at all and then to slowly back off the tension until the lure starts to fall letting it hit the ground to avoid any backlash at all while trying to find the sweet spot. But I guess to each his own. Fish On!
