You don’t understand how much I need this as an American
Fax my friends started a fantasy league but I know jack shit about football 🤣🤣🤣
Same here, been in Patriots country my whole life but I barely understand the nfl as a whole lol
Same bruh
I feel that
I know right! I've always found handegg dreadfully boring, but I want to pick a team, since my hometown doesn't actually have one
Just imagine how much better the NFL would be if it had less ads and commercial breaks. I enjoy watching football but mainly watch highlights because watching games take too much time, and in 3 hours you only really see 30 minutes of action if you watch it live
Fucked up thing is the games are actually 3.5 hours long.
NFL redzone. 7 hours commercial free football every Sunday
Understandable but try watching the matches
Z4f72u2😮
I get when fans say this , but do yall really wanna watch coaches and players talking on the sidelines when the field is being flipped and the chains are being moved and coaches are gathering the offenses and defense to go over the gameplan for the drive ? That's all you're missing, and even if you speed it up, it's still about a 3-hour game .
Love that you talked about Rogers on Jets longer than he played for the Jets. Most expensive 75 seconds any team has ever payed for
And starting out this season as a Vikings fan,...........THE PAIN BEGINS......
It’s better than being Texans fan
Oh dude you did no research on the Vikings? Cause they do this stuff all the time
@@trevorchyz8693 Don't get me started on the 2009-10 NFC title game or how much I despise the Philadelphia Eagles when the Vikings play them at Philly. But yeah, I have been loving the Vikings since I was 3 back in 2005.
I always thought it was called Football because the ball was a foot long 😅 love the vid
in the past all sports played "on foot" and with a ball were called football... those were the poor people sports. The rich people sports were on horses mostly.
It's called "football" (technical name is American Gridiron Football due to the existence of the Canadian game) because it's derived from Rugby Football (particularly the Rugby League variant). Therefore, it counts as a member of the larger family of sports called "football".
@@luke_cohen1genuine question, do u know if the football played across the world or soccer is under the same bracket?
@@bozoslayer5858 Yeah, soccer/futbol is another branch of that family tree. It's official name is "Association Football" (the "association" part is where the word "soccer" comes from). What I don't get is why Europeans always seem to leave sports like Aussie Rules Football, Gaelic Football, International Rules Football (a combination of Gaelic and Aussie Rules), and Canadian Gridiron Football out of the conversation. If you truly want to prove that you're not being a lazy, Anti-American jackass, then you should apply similar criticisms to those games as well. Failure to do so makes your arguments irrelevant to the discussion as a whole.
@@luke_cohen1 Yeah they just don't appear to care about comparing themselves to countries like Canada and Australia apparently. But yes, Football is a term for an entire class of sports with various rule codes. Gridiron Football has two main variants (Canadian and American), Rugby Football has three types (Rugby Union, Rugby League, and Rugby 7s), there Association Football, Gaelic Football, Aussie Rules Football, Calcio Fiorentino (a form of Mob Football played in Florence), Samoan Football, and International (Hybrid) Rules Football which is a combination of Gaelic and Australian Football.
So there's loads of types of Football codes.
Aaron Rodgers goes to the Jets.... and then gets injured FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON in Matchday 1. Such a Jets thing to happen.
You should make a clueless European's (or American's) guide to college football, bc that sport is WILD. As an American I can't even begin to enter the wild world of basically pro-level athletes between the ages of 18-23 playing for franchises worth billions in sold out stadiums while not getting paid a dime and also trying to get an advanced level degree at the same time. it's a completely broken system and Americans LOVE it. I know so many people who don't follow the NFL but would kill and die for their college football team.
That's a good idea!
As an Iowa State fan. I have adopted the 49ers because of Purdy
I think I speak for most 49ers fans when I say thanks for all y'all have done for Purdy over the years. Those 4 years as a starter has really made him quite the find as a player in the NFL.
I really appreciate how u can tell you grew up with Mexican people! Something about it just makes it so much more relatable! As in you vibe with everyone
The Copa Brasil this year was amazing it was the first time SPFC ever won it and it completed spfc trophy cabinet because they won every trophy possible
I was waiting for your video lmao, I'm not even interested in the NFL, but I like it when you talk about it
Love the vid my dude! Being a football ⚽ fan in the UK, it's tough keeping up with all the NFL teams/transfers/draft picks so this is much needed for the new season
Rodgers has already gotten injured, aged a bit poorly
Came here for this. Hell of a jinx
hello i' m from belgium and the only thing about NFL i knew was this super bowl thing with eminem once in it baahahahahhaha
For the non Americans.... the Aaron Rodgers things went the absolute worst. Tore his Achilles on the 4th play of the 1st game of the season. No passes thrown.
The New York Jets went on to beat the Buffalo Bills in overtime with a return touchdown.
Hell of a week 1 Monday Night Football
Trust me half of Americans needs this video
why
Going back here after the season, and the amount of things that didn't go the way you said they would is funny :D
One of the best recaps I’ve seen to catch me up. Great work!
The Rogers comment about going on McAfee was way too prophetic
it’s funny watching this a week after, seeing how the jets shat the bucket and the giants get blown out 1st game 😭
This was posted right as the Bengals lost lol.
Peak curse work
Giants faired even worse
Chiefs lost too lol
The Bills, Chiefs, Bengals, and the fighting Aaron Rodgers lost this weekends. The Jets won though.
Can’t wait for the Dolphins defence to give me an aneurism again 🔥
This is an interesting watch, after the Rodgers ACL tear. Don't imagine the jets would be getting quite as much time in video were it made week 2
Just a NFL casual here thanking you for your words! this is a great help.
This is my first season. After Robert Whittaker, Dustin Porier and Izyy took L's ..... im forcing myself onto a new sport. Watched the netflix doc too, was sick!
It's nice to listen to you I wish you were releasing more frequently but I understand even if you don't
Football is in reference to any sport that was played on foot, back in the day when a lot of sports were played on horseback. American football is actually Gridiron football. But apparently people are too lazy to do some basic research and will instead say their sport can be the only one called football
What’s crazy is the English changed the name of football to soccer so that is why we call it soccer. They changed back and we didn’t so as always its the UK’s fault.
that just sounds like cope to me lil bro
There still seems to be some confusion of “hand egg”. The origins of football is disputed between being played on foot or the ball being a foot long. Most lean to the former. A town called Rugby in England adapted it to form Rugby football. It’s still formally known as rugby football which is why team names end in RFC. Rugby football spawned Gaelic football, Australian football and American football (gridiron football). So the hand egg jokes are just so 2009 Facebook meme style
Thanks, man! I'm American, but I know absolutely nothing about handegg. I've always been more into football and basketball, but my friends like the NFL, so I was considering getting into it. This seems like a good chance to do it!
This video aged like milk!😂😂😂
I live for these videos, gold
Love your nfl contents more and more
The intro sold the whole Channel to me 🙌🏼
Funny watching this after this crazy week 1.
nothing gets me going like SEVEN HOURS OF COMMERCIAL FREE FORTBALL STARTING….. NOW
very very detailed .....I loved the video a lot
I'm Australian an I mainly watch sOcCEr 🤢 and basketball (pelicans) I've been wanting to get into the nfl for years so having it all explained to me in football players helped. Thanks
J.E.T.S - Jets! Jets! .... Oh shit, that deal with the Devil that Joe Namath made is still coming back to haunt 🤣
need a clueless guide of nfl playoffs
thank you for this perfectly aged wine of a video.
3:52 well about Aaron Rodgers on the jets... 4 plays
When you said that both New Yorks can be good this season i thought it was pretty ironic after just 1 game
The best highlight from Ey-Ey Ron this season was waving the USA flag before the kick off
Pls start the season off with a vid like this every year
I’m a desperate Chelsea fan looking for something else to ruin my weeks than football (I won’t be calling it soccer) and I think I’ve found it
well, the Aaron Rogers segment aged like milk
Hope there is a new 'clueless' NBA vid in the works
Man I would be thrilled to watch this 49’ers team actually win a Superbowl again🥵 been way too long, and all of these “almosts”, year in, and year out is just brutal man…
Hopefully this year is different, Come On San Fran🔥🔥🔥
as a falcons fan HERE WE GO 😭😭😭😭😭
I was looking forward to some Ravens ball. Then yesterday happened.
Yoo... Premier League anthem being put into NFL footage goes kinda hard!
Not a fan of the nfl and will never watch it, but you are so funny i may as well watch this video🤣, and i know i will learn some new things while at it
"Unfortunately, he's about as accurate as Lukaku."
rollin' 🤣
Please tell us about the vikings i wanna be a vikings fan after the Dorktown video essay
No you don't save yourself before it's too late
No you don't, they are in one of the worst spots in the NFL and that's being an average team. That means they won't win enough to do anything special, maybe make the playoffs and lose after the first game, but they also aren't bad enough that they can get beneficial draft picks to improve the team for the next season.
Bro mentioned both Jets and GIants and failed to mention, the ONE, the ONLY, Dallas Cowboys, the REAL BEST DEFENSE in the League. Micah Parsons gonna eat your QB alive,
The real sleeper is Washington. Now that the old owner is gone the vibes are immaculate
He Finally sold it?
@@Stuck_in_the_US I think he was forced to sell by the NFL
The culture there better ACTUALLY be damn good now.
They're an okay to mediocre team with maybe a top 20 QB, but yes, the vibes are all positive if anything.
you missed devon witherspoon for the seahawks
The reason that the same teams always win in football/soccer is that the individual clubs exist outside of a league. If the premier league ceases to exist there will still be a Liverpool FC. Because of this there is no draft to make sure the good players go to bad teams (which evens the playing field) and all players are free to go wherever the pockets are deep and that’s exactly what they do.
Hows the manager of the year just lose 40-0? 😂
Ask Ten Hag
Danny Dimes (Daniel Jones) is uh.... not him. Also the Cowboys are a divisional rival and top contender in the league.
the first nfl match I watched, rogers got injured
RAVENS FLOCK LETS GO!!!
PLEASE DO MORE NFL VIDEOS
Can we get a guide to the NHL please?
No sé por qué me salió este video, pero lo vi completo y ahora siento que entiendo. P.D. Tus videos llegaron a bolivia.
I tried so hard to understand everything you said but I am so lost 😢😢😢 15:17
Ah I see, you must be this vids target audience. O-line is the big guys blocking and protecting the quarterback on offense. The D-line are the people on defense trying to get past the O-line and take down the qb.
"You'd be interested in a league who you didn't know who was gonna win the league.... before the season started."
NFL really do be like that.
I got mad and exited the video when you shit talked my panthers. 😂 but you’re right. 😢
Rodgers to the Jets already has some trouble in paradise. Rodgers is out for the rest of the regular season, and most likely playoffs if Jets can make playoffs with Zach "The Milf Hunter" Wilson at QB. After week 2 loss i heard reports that some of the players went on social media and interviews to say air the dirty laundry, it does not look good.
U should do one of the NBA pls
Lol the g men just got rocked i don't think they are going to make it
Jets fan here!
Watching this after the giants just got rag dolled 😭😭
Rodgers went out for the season the day you uploaded YIKES
“.. all season long”. More like 4 plays -a jets fan
Nothing about the Ravens?? Hmm
0:48 Yadda yadda yadda, it's called football because it's played on foot rather than on horseback and has nothing to due with the actual length of the ball or how you play the game. Americans laugh at Europeans for playing a game that could easily go all 90+ minutes without a goal or even a real chance, and Europeans laugh at Americans for calling it soccer and having a game that stops every few seconds. Let's just enjoy the video.
And, there is a type of person like me who's rooting for the Titans bcs I have their t-shirt form a second-hand store
Can someone show me a video like this for baseball ?
Bro- "Guide for Non Americans", proceeds to say "6 feet 3, £215"
I understand not understanding the weight system. However, from my experiences visiting other places, using customary units for height isn't *all* that uncommon, if not interchangeable, especially in other English-speaking countries which there are plenty of.
@@kidn00b1 I understand what 6'3 means about 187.5-ish, but the £215, that I cannot fathom, why does a wierd system still exists in big '23.
@@KennyFCB Because it doesn’t really cause problems. There’s no real initiative to change it because there is no need too. It’s a valid system that works for our purposes, yes metric is better but it’s not a big deal. Most people don’t need to care or worry about measurements, and for those who do, learning another system of measurement really isn’t that hard. As a grad school physics student, using either or is like picking between Pepsi or Cola. It really doesn’t matter.
@@kidn00b1 It's wierd, I know it's simple multiplication, 9/5+32 here, multiply by 2.5 there. But these little things cause a lot of headaches in both physics and Chemistry. But every equation ever is built for the SI system. I don't get why they don't just change. It saves so much effort. Maybe the height system is fine but the weight, temperature, volume. Like idk what's the vapour pressure of a gallon of water mixed with 0.3 ounces of salt. I am 100% sure it causes you headaches cuz you are a physics student.
@@KennyFCB Well, no, it doesn't. If you are a science, math, or tech student in the US, 99% of the time you are using metric. Again, we learn both, and if you go into science, we're almost exclusively using metric for scientific purposes. Sometimes for learning purposes, you get customary units just to make sure you're paying attention, but I rarely see it and its often very simple conversions.
Some engineering fields are more geared to customary, but when that is the case, let's say for civil engineering, everything is going to be customary. The tools, lengths, measurements, grids, etc so it's not some back and forth shim-sham.
Honest to god, if you're struggling with SI-Customary conversions then you're just not built for the scientific field. It's not like only using metric magically means you'll never make a wrong conversion or alteration. It 1000% does *not* make physics, chemistry, applied mathematics easier.
I've studied with foreign students and at first some of them share your opinion, but once you learn it you hardly ever think about it because it's inconsequential when we're dealing with spin of subatomic particles and the acceleration of a cow through space.
Some corrections : Mahomes is like De Bruyne, the man's ability to find players in space is immaculate. Chris Jones is like the rough handedness of Vidic combined with the speed and agility of Van Dijk. Jaylen Hurts is prime Pirlo, patient, smart and intelligent with his plays. Josh Allen is similar to Jude Bellingham right now as a QB, very versatile and can do a lot.
Akshay you're a superstar brother thank you
Not a word about the lions?! My dude ya need to make an update after week one cause uh it’s a bit wonky
Clearly he made this before the game, but I do agree they should have been on here for a dark horse even before the season started. They have way better tools and utility than the Giants.
Mahomes is the first famous person from my hometown since I've been alive and it is so weird to think about in videos like this that basically idolize him.
Opinion on lions improved slightly but clearly not bought in 😢
No jinx for the ravens this year it’s official they’re winning it all
Rodgers is out for the season, good luck Jets
Oww man, as an American, the NFL isn't really my forte but I hope it's has a story like the premier league. Still called a hand egg ball.
0:15 Most violent sports league? Well idk what differs between a “sports league” and an “sports organization”, if there even is one… but I’d definitely argue the UFC is defiantly the most violent sports league/organization. Lol
Usually we differentiate combat sports from team sports league, but nobody would disagree that UFC, MMA, boxing, are more violent sports.
Is the Super Bowl like the ucl of American football
No, the Superbowl is just the NFL championship game. Only NFL teams can qualify to participate as American Football leagues are isolated and run independently of other leagues. No other American football team or league compares to an NFL team/organization in money or talent.
The Detroit Lions are the least valuable team within the NFL. They're equivalent to Arsenal FC, the 10th most valuable football club in the world while the NFL has 31 other teams. The disparity between any other American football league is unfathomable.
if you did MLB content this would be the best sports channel hands down
as a european Jets fan i am terrified before watching this video
I'm so sorry for you
You didn’t talk about the Vikings?
CJ Stroud had better rookie season than Trevor Lawrence you call a god
My Eagles got the Dub against New England. 🎉
What is the name of the song at 15:58 ?
Aussie rules in finals the rest of the world just starting
Frenkie de Jong playing QB for Bengals
Me an American watching this. 👁️👄👁️
As a Brazilian who is living in America now for...a while...these still pop me regardless. LETS GOOOOOO!!!!
do you watch American football now that you are in the US?
@@GNMbg as a neutral, yes. Been to a few Broncos games in person but wasn’t too fond of the fan base to adopt them as my own.
11:45 what’s this song called
The Patriots rn 😭😭😭
Straight up forgets the jags
Are Jags top 5?
