I saw Cliff and The Shadows at the Forum in Liège, Belgium, on the 8th of May 1964. An excellent performance that I still watch from time to time on the belgian TV archive site.
What a joy to rediscover Cliff in 1965. I was 17 and he was my dream singer, a real british treasure so elegant, wonderful sweet voice, very kind with his public. I loved his sense of humour too and these songs we could hear on french or belgian radios. Then, a great period of silence. Why ? But now you send me your clips and video and I am so delighted to go every day on RUclips and look at you. Quality is great too. Thank you. God bless, Sir Cliff.

I did not discover his Move It (first hit) until after the internet and RUclips became available. Great artist and is the same for the Shadows... Hank B Marvin is an awesome guitarists to in his own right...

My friend and I along with hundreds of others outside the old Carlton Hotel in Eloff street, Johannesburg, we stood hours waiting outside their hotel,only for them to wave and go back inside, Eloff Street, was blocked for miles, with teenagers screaming for Cliff & the Shadows, they were talented and their music is evergreen
