Hey Zooko, how's it going? I just wanted to say I, like many other viewers, appreciate your videos, techniques and demonstrations you share with the rest of the Marvel Rivals competitive community. I truly hope you are not letting the negative comments rattle you too much and understand that it simply comes with the territory of putting content out on the internet where it is meant to be judged. Receiving criticism is a natural part of the process of interacting with the public and while it is easier said than done, should never be taken personal. With that being said, I hope you do not take it the wrong way when I say that I think the sentiment you shared at the beginning part of the video about ego, working hard, and "getting good", may be you projecting some of the negative emotions you may be experiencing onto the viewers a bit. I say this because as far as I am aware there are not many, if any, higher elo comp players using most of these combos with Spiderman in their games, including Necros. I understand that the game is still new and this may change as time goes on but for now, the viewers are rightfully skeptical about their effectiveness in higher elo games against the very skilled players that reside there. I think the perfect way to put this question to rest would be to simply upload full games of you using these combos to win matches in mid to high diamond and above (preferably gm or eternity) against some of Spiderman's biggest deterrents such as Hela, Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Namor, Luna, Mantis, and to a lesser extent Punisher, Psylocke, Star Lord etc. If you are not able to or simply not willing to then I understand, as you are not obligated to prove a point. However, I suspect that until there are demonstrations of these combos being used in higher elo games, the competitive community may not be fully convinced of their effectiveness. Again, hopefully you do not take this as a personal attack since this skepticism doesn't just apply to you btw but also to all the other content creators putting out videos every other day with new Spiderman combos. Wishing you the best in your Spidey endeavors.
I approach everything in life with positivity and curiosity over cynicism, pessimism, doubt, or skepticism. I’m already d3 from 2 days of ranked doing only solo queue. I’ve gone against these helas and counters and this tech solves the issues people are having. This tech was formed from my experience on spiderman and me forcing a character I enjoy into being better. If there’s a will there’s a way type logic right? Also, I’d have to disagree, for the first time yesterday I watched necros play spiderman and he’s doing exactly what I’m doing but just unoptimized. As far as uploading full gameplay. Solo queue rank is not good gameplay where I can showcase the full power of Spider-Man with comps built around me going off. Most of the time in ranked im flexing for the sole purpose of actually winning the game after insta-locking dps and we get 3 more dps. Because of that same said skepticism I’d only want to upload gameplay in a full stack vs another full stack where variables are out of the way but also so I’m not at a disadvantage to the other videos showcasing lower execution play but pocketing and dmg boost, with mantis and squirrel with Luna ice and healing life orb from mantis. Which is what you see from most of the current clips on the best spiders out there. Being put in environments of success changes the outcome. I’m much more worried about winning and climbing by flexing rather than forcing my will on the game. I’m a teammate before everything. I don’t play with any players except my bnl. I don’t have a fanbase or community built up enough to showcase the power of this character. Nor do I have the time to fully master him with months of experience before everyone else such as necros. My goal is to enhance the spiderman mains and be a Jack of all trades in Marvel Rivals. Which has been my role when I did go pro in other video games. Being good at everything but not a master of all. Master of a few. I have much more characters to explore and release content on I’m still building my base of knowledge for this game to eventually choose my main and be a master of that character. At the end of the day my rant was about. “If you want to apply yourself… then do it and reap the benefits. If you don’t try the tech, and it looks hard then that’s a personal issue with what you believe you can execute.” The fact that I’m showcasing it after not as much practice shows it’s not that hard to execute. The moving bots are going to be a thing moving forward for all of my content so people cannot be so stuck in their doubt or lack of application. Ninjakilla became a pro off of execution alone. Bringing his brand of fg play. Spiderman is one of those characters. Again necros is doing some of what I’m showcasing already. I’m just optimizing the Freeforms and inspiring those who actually want to apply themselves. And the moment I showcase these combos no one says a word or swallow their pride and ego. I’ve dealt with people like this in my life A LOT. So that’s where my frustration came from. I’m a small YTber who uploads tech. Even in MK I was able to help pros be better in mk1. Since mk is a hardcore fanbase the community understands execution. Marvel Rivals is a free to play game where everyone wants to play it for fun but are at least interested. That’s good for content. But I’m not going to change my style of content which is teaching, for some other peoples egos or lack of ability to practice it themselves. There will be at least 100 people that master all of this and put it to use and that will be my reward. Helping those who apply themselves. I owe nothing and need to prove nothing to anyone on my content. You either apply it or don’t. You either win or lose. You either see it or don’t. But when you come across those who have worked hard, they’ll see that it’s optimized and unstoppable especially the fact that I can jump over mantis sedation with that grapple tech I showcased. If I’m given the opportunity to be apart of a 6 stack in comp. Spider will def be who I pick unless I need to flex for the team. I already know the best team comp for this character I just need people to help. It’s a 6 player game. Not a 1v6. Hence why I showcase the deaths as well. To show I’m human and still mastering the character and that when people focus you there will need to be levels to your game I simply haven’t been able to put that much time into the character just yet. I’ve been playing this game since launch with about 6 days off. I’m new to the game still unlike the people others would want me to be compared to. That’s a recipe for disaster or feeding others who’s. I’ll do things on my terms because although growth is cool. I only target the audience of like minded players who apply themselves and grow in experience and challenging of oneself. I care not if people agree or disagree apply or don’t apply. I upload tech, but I will always stand against energies that are currently ruining the beautiful world we live in. Those same energies make so many people miss out on their potential. Or miss their opportunity. The moment I can get a game where I don’t have to switch off spider to flex. You’ll see the tech. Also it’s xmas time and I’ve been dealing with life issues rn that are making me take extended breaks from gaming to focus on those situations. It’s up to the people to apply themselves if they are inspired. If not so be it, if so, reap the levels to the game you’ll have over your counters and peers. I love the way you approached with respect and honesty and sincerity. I love people like that who can voice their opinions or thoughts without being so negative and ugly about everything in life. It’s the way of this world where it’s cooler to be negative and dirty rather than clean and positive. It’s easier to blame rather than look inward. It’s easier to right off than to apply yourself. It’s easier to ask someone else to do it for you out of convenience, than to diy. I have my own goals with content and my own inspirations. Seeing necros play only validated the tech I’m using and will make me dive more into the character over time. But also it’s showing me I have to make my guides even better for the other characters I’m trying to make better than what is already known. I have a will, and I have my way. I'm honestly so glad they made spider-man by far the hardest and most technical character in the game because I agree you simply don't deserve to be playing spider-man if you're not going to put the hard work in. People don’t understand that you need to learn techs and using it in different situations. The thing is you are not doing that combo in any character and in every situation that doesn’t mean is not useful. Thx for this things.

My only question is what’s the route of u start with web to them into uppercut but they are too far to continue the normal route. Bc sometimes you’ll be so far from them even before the overhead can come out.

I been loving these vids wondering how u approach playing against peni? Also do you have tech for being more accurate zipping onto people? I was in the range and found when i used the ground swing if I do the regular cancel to bunny hop but do it before i hit the ground i lose a decent amount of momentum and enter double jump ani state while still moving toward where i zipped. Do you think this could be tech to get into the new big burst combo faster? Lmk please
Yeah possibly so. Spiderman is so advanced you’re welcomed to your own playstyle of the character as long as it works or it’s intended. For peni I get above her…. Overhead jump web overhead is perfect to make her CC miss. Being grounded against any tank is a recipe for disaster but someone’s necessary with cooldown management. Peni is the strongest character in the game when played correctly by a tank. It’ll be you making the right plays and making her miss and your execution that give you the advantage. Also venom is great for mitigating CC and dmg reduction if she throws mines into CC
My dude I play spiderman a lot and this stuff is great but the hitbox of him when he jumps somebody is 2 large to jump hela and hawkeye. If they know u are coming, they will kill you. I play in gm lobbies and spiderman is free with good hela or hawkeye or namor or punisher
@k4rma13 i was at top 500 ;) I dont play spiderman because venom isnt picked usually otherwise spiderman is 2 risky 2 play. Its the same with iron man. Without hulk he is not that good. Spiderman with venom can do one thing very well Jump in super agressive try to get support and comeback in 13s and do it again since symbiote is reset after death. Thats the strat to blidnly feed with him. Which ia funny but it actually works.
I love this videos and trying improve this techs to console (hard as f) because I'm console player Ps. I watching many necros Spider-Man gameplay and he don't using much of hard techs on Spidey 😅
I think it would be interesting if miles morales was in the game. He would be spider man with higher damage so that you wouldn’t need tech to kill but with lower health so you have to master his movement and getting in and out. Still a high skill character but in a different way.
