- The BX1000 and BX1010 series of Citizens are awesome. Sadly, I never hear anyone mention them. I dont think you can find something more practical for daily wear.

Look around for them, I think you can still find them new. They're not in huge demand so you can find them cheap.
Cool, i was planning to buy a similar Berny and looking for a matching steel bracelet, that gives me a perfect idea. Now I have to find bx1010 bracelet.
i always recommend the eco-drive watches as the most practical we have today but these bx models must be the most refined practical movement there is (apart from the radio controlled ones or the HAQ ecdrive movements). heaving that seconds and minute hand align perfectly at the 12 and jumping from minute to minute when setting the time is just the cherry on top. that is what we all do when setting the time, we wait to hack the seconds at 12 and then try to align the best we can the minutes. these movements take care of that too. i can't even think how one could make a movement that's more practical, what other feature could a watch have (apart from external time sync) that would make it more practical for everyday use?
Yup, I think these are so cool (Hence having 6 of them), and I'm surprised there are only the two models. It's so easy to set the time. And normally I don't love watches with a date because it's always wrong. But not on this.
Hi, thanks for the review of all these watches. I’m a fan of both the BX-1000 and 1010 series. Since you indicated at the end of this vid that you only plan to keep the blue 1010 “flieger”, would it be possible for me to purchase the blue 1000 “globe” watch? If yes, how would I contact you? Thanks!
I went and sold all of these already, I'm sorry. I kept the one I like. I think they are still out there for sale if you are patient you can find at a good price.
