Hi Graham and wendy what a lovely pudding mymum used to make steamed pudding on top of the stove and she used to put a grease proof paper on top before she wrapped in cloth one week she used margarine paper and when the pudding was cooked she unwrapped the pudding and took the margarine paper off it and the top of the pudding the name of margarine was on top of the pudding the ink must of seeped through when the pudding cooking me and mum laughed mum Said oh we will put custard of the pudding no one will notice and we all ate the pudding it was so nice .well I'm still here to tell the tale it didn't do anyone any harm xxxlove fran xxxx❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Fran, I would have loved your mum. I proper mum with a proper sense of humour. My mum was very blunt and it used to make me laugh. The truth is why cry over spilt milk. Thank you fan love graham and Wendy xx
I think ''You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs '' is the quote you were looking for Graham, the sponge pudding looks amazing and good on you for making the custard as well,I haven't had home made custard for years unless they make it in a restaurant, you would think that if you have to steam at low pressure it would automatically default to that when you select Steam, another great video guys, apart from the lemon that is 😂😂 👍👋👋👋👋
Hi Richard, thank you mate it is you can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs. I just couldn’t remember. You’re so right again it should default to low pressure on steam. That would have been making loads of steam on the hob but cooking under pressure is so clean as you know 👏👏👏👏👏👍
It all takes time but the end product is better then the packet custard never used the vanilla pods. And the sponge pudding looks so delicious well done. Thanks for sharing but wish you could share that pudding with me hahaha😂. Xx
Hi Sharon, we would love to share this pudding with you. I’m sure you would appreciate the little extra work that went into it, well so long as you don’t want to much of it 😂😂😂😂😂🥰😍❤️😘👍👌
Hi Pat, this one was really nice, about the right amount of lemon. I usually put to much in. Wendy was a bit more reserved than I am. We were in caister last week ❤️😘
@@pattaylor3555 hi Pat, I loved that reply mi duck. It’s just the sort of thing I might have done 😂😂😂😂, you know we like a laugh. I bet we would have had a laugh over a cuppa 🥰😍❤️😘👍
Hi both ❤ what s was lovely pudding just one of my favourites and real custard can’t beat it - I make fresh when I can - really looked yummy ❤thanks both ❤️👏😊
Hi Julie, that is so obvious but never crossed my mind. I had some the right size but they fit my elastic band gun and me and the kids have shot them all and lost them. 😂😂😂😂😂😂🥰😍❤️😘
Well that looks delicious, and so pretty on that plate. We're paying 22p per kWh, so it would only cost me 6.6p to cook it 🤪 I've cooked sponge puddings in the microwave. They turn out quite well, and are quick, but I bet the cooking cost remains the same. Another great video from you two lovely people 😘
Hi CC. It’s more traditional to steam so we thought why not. It turned out lovely and very tasty. You really have looked at this video with the right attitude and you’re so right about the cost.👏👏👏👏👏👌👍 The only problem for me is I need a longer extension lead to make use of your electric 😂😂😂😂🥰😍❤️😘👍
Love your lovely videos ❤❤❤ please can u tell if your corsori rice cooker cooked rice better that the corsori pressure cooker or does turn the seam .🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi Tracy, the cosori rice cooker has the fuzzy logic. If you put the right amount of water and rice in the machine cooks it perfectly. Because we have the choice of two we tend to use the rice cooker for rice. Also I’ve often got something else cooking in the pressure cooker. I hope that helps 🤷♂️🥰😍❤️😘
Hi Angie, it was really nice. I made one before with just lemon and not golden syrup. We found the balanced the taste better. There’s only one way to find out. 👏👏👏👏👌👍❤️🥰😘
Hi Graham and Wendy love your cooking vids. I am fascinated by that round black meter thing I think which appears to be plugged into your halogen hob. Can you tell me what it is for and also where you got your new halogen hob from please
AMZCHEF Single Induction Cooker, Ultra-thin Induction Hob amzn.to/3CcuXwI i had to look at the video and straight away i see what you mean. you've really made me smile as I would have wondered the same thing . its the base for a lamp in our kitchen. its so dark for filming we have lights everywhere.
Hi Vince. Wendy’s quite lucky really, well I did let her eat half. When you come she will only get a quarter. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 it’s a pity you can’t actually taste it over the internet. It was real old fashioned lovely grub. 👋👋👋👍
Hi Pauline, that’s definitely the easiest way. That’s not really what the video was about. Who would bother making their own custard when there’s no need. It was really nice and we enjoyed the whole experience 👋👋👌👍
That looked very very naughty, but very very nice!🙂
Hi Gill, it was so tasty. If you like lemon this was fantastic with the custard ❤️😘

That’s definitely one for me except for the golden syrup. I’d just make a lemon syrup.
Looking forward to trying that in the pressure cooker.
