I just replaced ours and it worked but when we took the cover off to do this we notice that something else was not connected, I'm not sure what it is and why its not connected unless its not supposed to be. So I have a silly question...The line with the green tabs you disconnect for the evap valve its behind that. What is this for and Should it be connected? We have a 2012 acadia as well
Hi, there! Unfortunately, I'm not exactly sure which line you're speaking of. And even more sadly, I got rid of this Acadia earlier this year. But I'm fairly sure that there's a RUclips video out there somewhere that can help. Good luck! I'm sorry I couldn't be any more help.
Its a hose that goes to the gas tank, the purge valve sucks the fuel vapors out of the tank giving you a little better fuel economy if the valve is bad you will get bad fuel economy and an eng code
My 2010 Cadillac SRX engine shakes like crazy basically the same stuff mine is the top of the line luxury model 3.0 direct injected engine nice truck but it’s still GM crap it was given to me I fixed after a guy and his wife gave up on it the AC pressure switch hidden behind the corner right side of the bumper 5 volt reference circuit kept it from starting and running properly it would go into reducing power mode just unbelievable a cheap ass AC pressure switch could bring down a whole $40,000 vehicle cmon GM really ???

Sadly, I'm not sure. My issue was just upon initial startup, when it was cold.
Mine ended up being a knock sensor right about starter runs smooth now when holding at steady speeds roms aren’t jumping up n down now pass that on

Still sounded like it had that high idle after you started it my guy, did it actually settle before I go make the repair on my 2012 Acadia?
Yes, the idle did come down after the repair. When I made this vid, the engine was cold and had not reached normal operating temperature.
have you had any acadias or enclaves with engine clicking noises?
Only during a cold start when the oil was low and or due for an oil change.
I found the problem, I did and oil change in grease monkey and they put the wrong oil so now I gotta flush the oil and replace with the right one
What type of oil exactly?
