R I P Denholm Elliott who would now if he was still with us be 100 today ,As Remembered in Raiders of the Lost Ark as Marcus Brody ,Hard to believe it's 30 years now since he passed away,Part of the Greatest Generation also ,Sorely missed 🥺🥀🌹💐
What an actor Mr Denholm Elliott was. I saw A Murder of Quality, The Signalman and this particular scene and I became a fan. His expressions in this scene, Pachelbel's Canon in the background and of course Ms Teresa Russell's acting too make me revisit this scene again and again. This is a perfect scene in a movie in my view.
I'm not usually a romantic person but if someone looked at me the way Denholm looked at Theresa, I'd probably be reduced to a blubbering mess with mascara running down my face!
TheGodParticle He was bi (married twice and had children.) Having said that, I always thought he was gay until I looked him up: love Denholm Elliot, there's something so...lovely about him.

Denholm was one of the best actors of all time.Everything he is in is great. Rest in peace.
roeg -theresa russell - love
Played with understated perfection, such an exquisitely powerful and emotive scene.
One of my favourite films, and one of the best scenes of that movie. DE was such an underrated actor. Roeg an underrated director. Perfection.

Me, too. I want to run after him.
Despite den being gay, he really nailed it as a broken hearted heterosexual. Incredible actor. Very missed.
According to sources he was bisexual.
Yes, he was actively bisexual.

What a wonderful and adorable actor was Denholm Elliott. Gone too soon.
You can feel the pain....
Johann Sebastian Bach Pachelbel's Canon☺
No JS Bach.
Pachelbel composed this Canon,not Bach
This scene is fantastic! I loved Theresa Russell so much!
That's one of the most beautiful scenes ever. What a brilliant actor he was..
Canon in divorce. Roeg was a genius
You would think Denholm Elliott and Peter Sallis were brothers....
That was a damn good movie scene.Theresa and Denolm played it perfectly.
Very, very pretty
Ill watch Theresa Russell in anything. Most of her films were actually great too
