I have tied a few versions of this pulling buzzer and put one on today for my last few casts before packing up. Not having much luck with buzzers in the past , didn't expect any action . I don't think it was in the water for no more than 5 seconds while taking up the line to keep contact . Bang , what a hit, Off like a stabbed rat came to mind. After landing and releasing put it out for the second cast. Slow figure of 8 retrieve and the bow wave of a following fish. What a cracking little effective fly. Thanks for sharing.
It does not work all the time, but when the conditions are right then it is fish after fish, glad you some good hook ups, Regards MD
The best fly fishing channel honest and helpful says it how it is nothing fancy
Wow. Thanks , just me on my days out. Email me your address at mdflyfishinguk@aol.com . Regards MD
Had a day like that on Draycote fishing off the bank with a weighted Woolly worm fished on the bottom …. Started with 6 flies in my box and ended up with one that was still fishable 😂 love the look of this fly … could be mistaken for many things , buzzer, pin fry or at that time of year (I assume it’s spring) maybe even a tadpole. I’ll have to whip up a few and give them a try over here in Colorado … great video… thanks for sharing 👍👍
Yes it seems to work better in the spring, thanks for watching Regards MD
Thanks for show I g a novice like me how to fish .them ,I'm out the morra, and I'll probably have a go
Looks great. May be taken as a pin fry imitation? It looks like it would be a good pattern for Ryburn too.
you smoked them trout with those buzzers mate, there fine lookin fish too, its amazin those days when its fish after fish, id rather have a fish a cast than a ball bustin day for one trout, i think the people who would call it "repetitive" might have a touch of green eye lol great sess mate and hopefully more to follow in 2024 👍👍
HI fella yes that was a red letter day and that's not all the footage as trout some shuck the hook, night give them a outing tomorrow for a hour, keep well Regards MD
I fished Pennine today. Good 4 hours with 5 to the net. Kept 2. All around 2-3lb. Fished both bottom and top lake catching on apps bloodworm and under the bung. It's a fantastic place, very well kept. Just wish I could one day get a biggen.
The apps is good fly on a sink tip fished very fast. your big one will come when you least expect it. Regards MD
Hi mate, what make of flyline do you use please?
Ever had a noticeable difference using mono & fluoro for tippet/leader MD ?
Hi never really used mono, always stuck to some kind of fluorocarbon Regards MD
What are u using fir the collar? Is it red wire or holographic tinsel? Great video by the way.
Hi its just standard .20 red wire. but red tinsel will be just as good.
Great looking pattern, what style and size hook!?
Hi I use a size 10 or 12 wet hook, regards MD
That's a cracking a wee pattern that... Don't suppose your selling any are ya?
how many seconds approx for sinking wise Thank You
If I am using this fly on a 10ft leader and with the flies uv covering I would give 15 seconds and that should get it to about 2 to 3ft or switch to a sink tip line on the same time for 5ft ish.
Hi, are you selling these? As I would like to purchase some from you. Cheers, Bob👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣

Do you have these for sale ?
Not at the moment, might do some for the spring. Regards MD
How do you know what depths the fish are feeding on? any clues
I just let the fly sink to different depths before retrieving it, on this outing top 12 inch was the best area before retrieving. Regards MD
Are you selling any of these MD??
Not yet, just doing a revamp of flies for spring and hopefully a website. Regards MD
