Looks great. Couple of hacks to help it keep its form: 1) Pinch & stitch or rivet the top edge to force the dimples inward. This will keep it from trying to relax open while carrying it, especially if the pull-strap comes loose. 2) Use a clip lock on a buckle strap instead of the magnetic button. The strap/clip combo will allow the bag cover flap to still cover the top if the bag is super full (with stuffed toys, blankets, clothes, etc... you know how some of us love to over-stuff our bags 🤣 ).
I just watched the Kamsnaps grommet demo video and I think the die is specific to their grommets and not those you can buy elsewhere. It’s a pretty straightforward installation. The foam lined piping is GENIUS!
Yes I totally agree with you, about the backpack-idea Kassiah! 👍 I just made this beauty yesterday in a live and turned into a mini backpack! 😁 My first one, love it! It turned out so good, really happy with it! ✨ So try this pattern out people, it's really a great pattern! 🥰❤️ Great work with the video as always! You're amazing! ✨👏
Hi Siah. What is the width of the fabric piece for the foam piping? Did you cut it 1 1/4 inches as in the pattern? Yours looks a little less wide than mine did but it could just be camera angle. Thanks!
Hi Siah . I’m just learning to make bags. Please could you let me know what length stitch do you use on seams and also what length for top stitching. Absolutely love your videos Thank you so much for your inspiration 😊
That happy accident must have been your subconscious telling you to use something else, because I think the contrast with the lighter color looks better than if it were the same color.
I have the Lux lite nylon and it is really hard to cut as it shifts around. Is the regular Lux nylon easier to cut out. Any tips? Thank you for a great video
Just about to start my bag. Thanks for this tutorial, I hate following instructions, videos just make more sense.
LOL!! GURL YOU KNOW YOU ARE MAKING MY DAY!! LOL!! NOW I GOT TO GO MAKE A BAG!! (JUST SAW THAT PHONE BAG! AWESOME!!)

I just finished my Avellana and I love it.
Can I say that I love your intro with your Dad!

Your fabric choices are always so perfect
Thank you! 😊
How fun I’m making one today. I’m so nervous but I know it will come out good
Your hair looks so so pretty!!
I love the lighter brown as it gives the whole bag a more polished look. Great job
I bought an Arbor Press at Harbor Freight to do my grommets. It works great.
I may have to do that

That is awesome!
I love this bag. I am a VERY beginner to bags and you are showing me things I never considered doing.
I really enjoyed how do conducted this tutorial. Please do more like this! I'm learning more sewing techniques this way. 🥰
I think you did a great job, especially the grommets with what tools you had. We never had presses long ago…
Looks like I need to go shopping! Pattern, Grommets and dies for sure.
The link for aft and warp is not working, say they are not there. Your bag is absolutely gorgeous, thank you for sharing this tutorial
Absolutely love it! Would love to see you do a backpack version 😘
What a great idea for the piping! Definitely going to try that.
merci Kassiah et en plus je me perfectionne en anglais graçe à tes vidéo 😍
Hiya Kassiah!! I have been waiting for this tutorial before I buy the pattern🤗 I shall grab some lunch and a big mug of tea and watch in awe!👌🏻💖X
Beautiful job
Thank you! 😊
I picked up this pattern. Can’t wait to make it. Love your version
I absolutely love this bag!! This might have to be my next selfish sew because I want one now! 💕
Did you know Kam snaps sells the dies for the grommets.
Great job Kassiah! I love it.
Really cute bag
Oh. Turned out so cute!
I love your idea of foam in the piping. All I have is Annie's foam and wondering if it is too solid/thick in the piping.
Yes that should work!
I placed twine, thin rope along the center on top of the 1/8” ds Tape.
Love this bag great tutorial 😘

Yes I did cut is smaller. I did a little under an inch, but I would just do one inch wide.
@SiahSwag thanks! I will do that! Making this bag today.
Классные сумки, смотрю ВАС из России. Мне все нравится!!!
Man RUclips is having a bad day! I was not able to comment on anything earlier today, then later when I came back to watch it froze at an ad 😂
Happy to see you use a stiletto, I worry for your fingers 😊
Marvelous video 😍 Thank You 🤗
Bag looks great
Beautiful bag, always love your videos. I sew patterns you do tutorials on.❤️
Soo pretty…beautiful ❤

Seams I use about 4-4.5 on my machine and topstitching and basting 5-5.5 😊
@@SiahSwag thank you so much 😊

Yes the light is super hard to work with in my opinion…. The regular is much easier.
Love Love the video!!
I can't get my press to do it either I must not be doing it right also, idk.
Thanks!
Thank you 😊
Hi Siah would you say this is medium or large size bag. Thanks for the tut
I would say medium 😊
Turned out cute and I'm not a pink fan. Keep forgetting to ask where did you get the screw driver? It isn't in your list.
Oh man it’s because I don’t remember! 🤣
May i ask what foam u used for the piping? Thanks!
Just regular foam interfacing
A twist lock instead of the snap fastener would function much better IMO
I agree
Soy de Argentina y me gustaría que hagas los moldes en espanol y lo expliques
❤
What kind of tape do you use to cover the snap ?
Duct tape works great
What size grommets did you use?
How can I shop for your thread?
SiahSwagBags.com
Thanks!
